Very nice, professional and on time

Very well. We agreed to meet at 830 am to give an estimate, and he was there, and then actually did all of the work by 4:30 on the same day. It looked good, and everything was done on the list.

The service went well and I was satisfied. It took a little longer than he thought, came right out the next day to finish and was quick. Didn?t have to wait long to schedule either, exactly when I wanted it scheduled. They were upfront about the cost, gave an estimate, and the final price was very close. The guy worked hard and figured all the issues out!

Very well, the office was very accomodating to our schedule, tech was on time, gave us our estimate and proactively inquired if we needed any other tasks done (which we added the r/o tap and door bell jobs). Tech returned when it was convenient for us and the price quoted is what we paid which was about $100 less expensive then a quote from a National company. The tech did all the procuring of necessary parts (they know best where to go). We will be using Prohandyman again!

I called Wednesday afternoon to see what it would cost to have a gas clothes dryer installed. They quoted $80.00. I agreed to this amount and they said they could send someone the next day between 11 am and 1 pm. The handyman arrived at 11 am and installed the dryer. He was very careful to check the gas connection for leaks. He was very courteous and efficient and the dryer is functioning perfectly.

He wrote a quote of $90.00 and proceeded to go to Home Depot for a new Ground Fault device. He was able to get the plug up and running and then said it was $95.00 I thanked him for the work and also showed him the quote of $90.00 He accepted that and left. We never heard from the company again and still have no Reverse Osmosis !!!

He arrived on time - did a great job. The office worked the repair schedule around my work schedule.

Overall it was great. Pro Handyman was able to get a man out the same day I phoned. My job was not urgent but I do appreciate that they were able to help me the same day. The man they sent out was perfect in every way and I certainly will use Pro Handyman again. Kim the first girl I spoke with was also great. This company is a keeper. A+A+A+A+

called for estimate Wednesday, appt set for Thursday estimate approved and work started immediately. Mirrors (MirrorMate) were unknown to handyman, Shawn, so estimate was quoted as "not to exceed". Building and installing mirrors quicker than anticipated, therefore, price was $100 less than estimate. All work accomplished in about 2 1/4 hours. Very happy with results.

There were several "extras" thrown at the repairman, who graciously did the work. Kitchen work took longer than expected and he stayed later than planned. When it was clear that 2 items could not be finished that day, we quickly scheduled a new time. Shower door handle was not straight when installed. I called right away and the repairman was at my door the following morning at 8 A.M. to fix it. Although there was an estimate, there were several other jobs I asked for. When he returned the second time, he billed me for a "service charge" which had never been mentioned before. I was surprised and not happy. But in general, work was done carefully, with complete clean-up.

Both the front and rear entry doors have a gap between the door tread and sweep. I had filled in both of the door sweeps with felt between the flaps of the sweeps. I had also wrapped felt around weather stripping and had applied to the front side of each tread. I had applied the felt using a glue gun. I called Pro Handyman because I thought that perhaps they would have better doors sweeps or treads to install. I didn't think that doors should have such gaps underneath. Shawn, the service provider, looked at both doors and told me that I had done as good a job that could be done; he couldn't make any additional improvement. He told me that I didn't need a different tread or door sweeps for the doors because no light was showing under the doors. After consulting with me and looking at both doors I wasn't charged any fee. I will definately use this company in the future for any home repairs. This company has good business standards.

I was very happy with Pro Handyman and, especially, Tom (I hope I remembered the name correctly). The woman who took my initial call was very polite and friendly. She set up an appointment and Tom came at the scheduled time. The toilet and kitchen faucet were repaired quickly, but the bathroom faucet caused more problems. A part was needed that Tom was unable to find. There is no identifying brand name on the faucet so, although he went to several stores, he was unable to find that part. Based on total cost of the job, I'm sure he didn't charge us for all the time he spent trying to locate what was needed. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism.

I spent a couple of $100 and it wasn?t a big job. I think they were very good. I had a faucet in a hot tub and it was either hot or cold and just wasn?t doing the temperature right. I called them up and they came out and the guy that came out was very nice. He said that he would have to go buy this new part and it was going to cost a couple of $100 and said he would call me and let me know how much really it was going to cost. The owner of the company called me a day later and said that he was not going to send that guy out anymore and I asked him what happened and he said that they let him go because he did not have enough experience. I asked them to have someone else sent out. He said that I did not need that new part and that he could fix it, so he came out and fixed it. He did a great job and did what he could do with it and some other odd things that I had on my list. They go by $120 visit and you can have them do whatever there is. He put in a faucet, fixed the bathroom faucet and some outdoor lighting. I like that they took control and weren?t going to let this guy buy a part that really wasn?t needed and were watching. I felt good about that, but felt bad for the guy because he was a really nice guy, but did not quite know what he was doing. I have heard horror stories about handymen, but these people seemed very responsible and interested in what was happening because I would have gone with this $200 part. They do send out people that are experienced in certain fields.

Pro Handyman sent Pete, who was on time, personable, and competent. His first appointment was for an estimate. He made suggestions and answered our questions. He came back and did all the jobs in two visits. We were able to get him at times that were convenient to our schedules. We plan to use this company and ask for Pete for any future needs.

They were very professional. They told me exactly how much it would cost over the phone, and that's exactly what they charged me. They even cleaned-up all the mess that they made. I thought it was excellent!

I couldn't be happier. Mike answered my call on my 1st try. He came out within 2 days. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He brought everything he needed to do the repair including the knobs. He was finished very quickly...and I thought his price was fair...even got a discount for mentioning I had found him on Angie's List. Very nice person and very professional.

They did what they said they would do, but I thought they were expensive. I might use them again, but it depends on what they want to charge me.

They are the first company that actually came out on time and were ready to do the job. There were some things that they could have done a little better but it was good for the most part. The pedestal job was done nicely but they were a little shaky with refitting the toilet. They came in wearing identifiable uniforms and the were ready to work.

I called to have my dishwasher fixed. They were prompt in answering my call and we set a service date, which was within a day or 2. As it turned out there was nothing wrong with the dishwasher, the problem was that I wasn't using the settings correctly. He could have used the opportunity to pretend something was wrong and charge me for fixing it. I was only charged for a service call. He verified it was working correct, was very courteous, professional and on time. I would definitely use this company again. he gave me his business card and advised me of other services they provide.

I was unhappy with the quality of work and with the price that they charged. I had to provide all necessary supplies, and I had to return to the store because he had measured incorrectly. He did, however, reduce the price for the inconvenience. It took him some time to install the screens, and even then, the screens were poorly installed. The last time I hired him was for door installation, and he did a good job at that time.

This was my first experience with Angie's List and Pro Handyman so I was looking for some small jobs to see how it went. I emailed Pro Handyman based on their ratings on Angie's List and asked for a quote on the jobs listed. Mike called back the next morning (within hours of my email) and asked for more details so he could give an accurate quote. Because the shower repair could have had a range of issues, he said he'd do his best to make it accurate and I get the feeling that the quote provided was a decision on his part as to how much the job would cost regardless (unless something major was wrong that we didn't anticipate). I originally called about the first two items but added the tiles when the repair showed up (on time). The entire job, including the additional work on the kitchen tiles, was done for the original quote and the repairman (I'm sorry I didn't write down his name) was very helpful and professional the entire time. He called me from Home Depot to tell me what the repair kit for the shower would run and made sure I was informed every step of the way. I got the feeling that the shower repair was more difficult than anticipated because the job took over 3 hours to complete. He held to his estimate though and I was very satisfied. I then asked for quotes on several jobs I plan for the future and will hear back on Monday regarding these estimates. This was a very pleasant and successful experience with both Angie's List and Pro Handyman and I look forward to using both in the future.

It went very well. He called earlier than the appointed time and said he'd finished with his previous job earlier than expected and asked if he could come earlier (which was fine with us). He gave us an estimate for the work, went and got the parts and went right to work. We were very satisfied with the work and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They were quite good. They were efficient. Their charge was very reasonable. The job cost me around $100. I am extremely happy with them. The only problem I had with them was that I had emailed them for some other services, but they never got back to me. However, I will use them again in the future.

Pro Handyman is great! I submitted an inquiry online and was contacted within a couple of hours, we set up an appointment for that Saturday and Handyman Pete showed up promptly at 0900 as we had arranged. The dog door was a Patio Pacific double flap door that seemed rather complicated but Pete had no problem with it and it looks really nice. I also had a shower faucet with no hot water, Pete was able to fix the problem with the Moen cartridge and did not have to replace any parts. The last thing on my list was to replace the faucet and hoses on a utility sink - no problems there either, it looks good and works good. Pete was very knowledgable, efficient, pleasant, and cleaned everything up when he was done. Thanks Pro Handyman! I will be calling you soon with the next couple of "to do's" that have come up.
