The were professional and punctual. The work was generally good. The sliding glass doors work well. However, the trim work is just acceptable.

Shawn, the technician arrived on time. I right away got a good feeling about him. He was professional in his approach. Not too overly friendly, (which for most women comes off as creepy) yet not cold or arrogant in his knowledge of things. I explained the job to him and he was a very good listener. He gave me a fair priced estimate and got to work. I offered up my garage as work space seeing how cold it was outside. I would periodically pop my head out to see his progress and I could right away tell he knew what he was doing. I had no worries. When he was done he cleaned up the saw dust and gave me an opportunity to look at his work before I signed off the job. I couldn't have been more pleased. An Angie's List Coupon of 10% off for First-Time customers made for a great deal. I emailed Pro Handyman right away to let them know Shawn was great. They emailed me back same day thanking me for the feedback and assured me that they will let Shawn know how awesome I thought he was, if only to make him blush. :-) I will recommend Pro-Handyman to EVERYONE I know. They have a very impressive website with Handyman tips and a Blog where they share even more Handy knowledge. Great Guys in My opinion! They are an Angie's List Gem!

I've had Jeff replace a number of my faucets and he does excellent work. The plumbing in my house is old and several of the faucets took much more work than he anticipated, but he always completed the work and honored his estimates.

Because our job list was so substantial, we also interviewed two other Handymen with very high ratings on Angie's List (I'll call them Handyman #1 and Handyman #2), prior to meeting with Richard Hutchins from "Handyman Las Vegas, Inc." This is the comparison between all three Handymen: Re: Task #2 - REMOVE & REINSTALL PANTRY & (2) MASTER BEDROOM CLOSETS TO SWING FROM INSIDE TO OUTSIDE Handyman #1: Didn't have a clue how to accomplish this task. He said that we'd need to purchase new doors! Handyman #2: Understood what we wanted, but took some time to contemplate exactly how he'd achieve this task. Handyman Las Vegas, Inc: Richard immediately understood what we wanted, and proceeded to explain how he was going to accomplish this (not simple) task. Re: Task #3 - INSTALL DOOR BETWEEN MASTER BEDROOM & MASTER BATHROOM (the opening between both rooms has an oversized arch with a depth of about 8"). Handyman #1: It was clear that this Handyman didn't have a clue how to accomplish this task. He hemmed and hawed for about 20 minutes trying to figure out how to do the job. I don't know if it was more painful for him or for us! Handyman #2: Understood what we wanted, but also appeared to have some difficulty trying to figure out how to accomplish the task. He asked if we wanted to keep the arched door opening, since he could remove the arched frame surrounding the door, leaving a standard depth opening (which would make the installation of a standard-sized door relatively simple). Handyman Las Vegas, Inc: Richard immediately understood exactly what we wanted, and proceeded to explain to us in detail what the task would entail. He gave us the option of purchasing either a custom door w/a substantial depth (big $$'s!), or a standard 6-panel colonial style door (w/about 4" depth). We chose to purchase a standard-sized door, which meant that Richard's job would be MUCH MORE involved and difficult. He'd have to install a substantially smaller (in depth) door into the existing arch making it look and fit like it had always been there, drywall the arch opening above the door and texture and paint the new drywall and door frame. Re: Task #5 - INSTALL DRAIN PAN UNDER WATER HEATER 1st Handyman: Told us that this would be an ENORMOUS job, equivalent to installing a brand new water heater. His estimate for this job alone was $300 (NO JOKE)! 2nd Handyman: Was not fazed by this task, and said that it could be done, no problem. Handyman Las Vegas, Inc: Understood the task instantly, and was the only Handyman who also suggested that a 3/4" plywood be added (under the drain pan) for additional protection. Re: Task #6 - INSTALL (PRE-FAB) ATTIC ACCESS LADDER IN GARAGE WITH ATTIC LIGHT SWITCH & LIGHT 1st Handyman: By this point, we were so exasperated with the 1st Handyman, we didn't even ask him about this job! 2nd Handyman: Understood what we wanted, but told us that our attic access was in a direction that was opposite from what it actually ended up being. Handyman Las Vegas, Inc: Richard understood what we wanted, and explained the details concerning the job. After all three interviews were completed, there was no question about who we were going to hire..."Handyman Las Vegas, Inc." (specifically Richard Hutchins) for his obvious expertise necessary to perform each task. His estimate was not the least expensive (1st Handyman was approximately $1800, 2nd Handyman was $3200), but we felt that Richard was the person most qualified for the job. WOW, we made the right decision! Richard has a work ethic that is truly commendable. He arrived early each morning, consumed his lunch while working, and worked a full day, everyday. He also displayed such integrity and honesty that we gave him the access code to our garage door, and key to the house so that he could let himself in (prior to our arrival in the morning)! Richard is a true artisan, and a perfectionist who takes the utmost pride in his work. We truly believe that he would not have done the job any better if it were his own house! Each and every task on our list was completed perfectly, and looks even better than what we'd imagined. An added bonus for us was Richard's truly enjoyable personality. Although he was a consummate professional, but was always making us smile and laugh with little stories and jokes that he'd share with us each day. We actually missed him after he had completed our job and was onto his next assignment (when have you felt that way about someone who does work in your house)? In conclusion, "Handyman Las Vegas, Inc." was the best choice we could have made. They may not be the cheapest Handyman company, but you'll get what you pay for. We will definitely call "Handyman Las Vegas, Inc." for future Handyman projects! And thank-you very much Richard Hutchins, for your great personality and the fantastic job!

Mike from Pro Handyman returned my weekend phone call on Monday and by Friday the work was completed! Mike explained how the process would work, since I'm located out of state, and on Friday, Shawn, the repairman, followed the process exactly. Shawn arrived at the house on time and reviewed the identified items with the renter; one item was no longer a problem. Shawn then looked at the items and called me with his assessment and an estimate. After receiving my approval to do the work, Shawn completed all of the items in one day. The cost for the services was below Shawn's estimate! As an out of state homeowner, the service Pro Handyman provides is very valuable and I'm very glad I found Mike and his team!

Very high quality work. The time estimate for completion was 2 1/2 days and it took 8. Also, the handyman assigned, though a very nice guy, didn't seem like he wanted to work and was late on a couple of days and involved me in issues that I thought he should have handled such as that some piece of equipment failed. Overall, I am satisfied with work.

The service was prompt. He is very quick and does an excellent job.

I called and asked Steve to send someone that knew electrical. The gentleman came out but could not find the problem. Left unfinished.I used Prohandyman for othere projects and Chris was very good, but would not call for electrical work. because the gentleman that came out didn't know what he was doing.

After closing on our new home, we had two small projects we wanted taken care of right away. ~ We ordered an oversized granite countertop, which extended 13? out from the counter, in order to allow us to pull up some bar stools and have a comfortable eating area near the kitchen. This 13? was un-supported weight. We were worried about someone setting something heavy on the extension, or attempting to sit on the edge of the counter and snapping off a heavy piece of granite, not only causing damage, but possibly injury as well. We ordered some corbels from Home Depot, but I was not sure of the best way to properly secure them. ~ For some reason, the 2?x6? beams on either side of our garage door don?t extend all the way to the garage floor??? We asked the builder about this ?defect? and he said that it wasn?t a mistake. Said that ALL the homes were like that. Looking around at the other homes, he was right. Never the less, we didn?t like having a 2? tall x 3? wide open gap at the bottom of both sides of our garage door!!!!! We didn?t want an open door policy with all the local bugs, lizards, mice, and small dogs in the neighborhood. We wanted those holes plugged ! ! We contacted Mike at Pro Handyman on the advice of our Realtor and after reading the nice positive reviews on Angie?s List. He sent Shawn out the same day to give us an estimate on fixing our issues. Estimate in hand, we contacted Mike again to schedule the work and he had Shawn return the following day who took care of everything!!! These guys are fast, friendly and very reasonable. I was satisfied; they did good work.

A+ is simply not a good enough rating! Chris was the person assigned to my list and he is an efficient, prompt, personable and knowledgeable young man. After I made initial contact with Pro-Handyman Chris came to my newly purchased house and we went over the list together. He gave me an estimated dollar amount and an estimated time for completion. He completed all the work in the time he stated and the final dollar amount was actually a little less than the estimate. The estimate includes Chris buying most of the parts involved, including the new bi-fold door, frame and sheet-rock plus multiple other items. Not only did Chris do the work at a very high standard, but in the case of the door to the modified closet, he made a suggestion that I hadn't thought of that is so very much better :) Chris also noted that one of the jobs on my list was to bolt a loose toilet to the floor, but he knew I was having flooring done after he was finished and suggested that I find out if the flooring people would be tiling under the bowl, because if they were they would be doing the same job over again - I called and sure enough the flooring people will be removing the bowl so it was pointless having Chris do that job although he was ready, willing and able to do it. He could have just gone ahead, done the job and charged me, but he didn't. After Chris was gone the place was so clean you wouldn't have known he was there except for the improvements. I plan on keeping Pro-Handyman as my "go to" company. I think their prices are totally fair, I probably could have shopped around, but I believe in a fair price for a fair job and Chris's work is exemplary.

The handyman put new rollers on our sliding patio door and mounted a new lock piece on the frame. The work was fine but I really thought the price was overkill. It came out to $110 per hour. I would not use them again based on price. The handyman was also asked to take a look at our garage door which was having problems. He completely misdiagnosed the problem. The new remotes he bought for us at home depot we couldn't return because he took the receipt. The culprit wasn't the remotes. We needed a new circuit board. The guy was on time and friendly, but like I said, overpriced.

The person answering the phone to make appointments was pleasant and helpful. I was able to get an appointment within a day or two. When there was a delay I was notified. The handyman showed up on time. I explained to him the jobs I needed to have done. He quietly went to work. He did the attachment of the LED light under the cabinet first. It was not positioned where I wanted it, so he removed it and did it a second time. He completed all of the work I asked him to do in a timely manner. The only reason why I didn't give them an "A" in all categories is because I had to call to have the handyman come back a second time to fix something that wasn't done right, but he came promptly the next day and did a perfect job. Also did not expect the job to cost as much as it did.

I got estimates from 5 highly-rated handymen listed on Angie’s List with quotes from $750 - $1,053. Chris completed all above repairs with excellent workmanship for $771. The drywall replace & texture (knockdown) was so perfect you would never have known it wasn’t the original wall. The seams where the baseboards were replaced were completely unnoticeable. The paint matching on the ceiling/beam was also very impressive. Understand that perfectly matching a faded, 17-year old off-white ceiling is pretty much impossible (unless you paint the whole thing). Chris was so close I could only notice the old paint vs. where he painted when looking at it from specific angles under certain lighting. His work displayed incredible attention to detail. He also cleaned up so well it was as if he was never there. I would highly recommend Chris and PRO HANDYMAN.

We had two 40-year-old sinks that needed leaking faucets replaced, as well as an old toilet that had seen better days. We called Pro Handyman based on customer reviews here on Angie's List, and crossed our fingers. Pete showed up on time and started to work immediately. Pete ran into all kinds of trouble and had to cut out the first faucet because it was cemented in with years of crud. The second was just a little easier, but still posed a challenge. Pete even ran out and picked up some parts to connect the new toilet for us. He worked for several hours to get the job done and even cleaned up after himself before he left. The cost was $350, including parts, which we were delighted to pay. We would recommend Pro Handyman for plumbing jobs and we intend to use the company for all of our future needs. My husband and I aren't very handy. ;^D

We had hoped he could re-grout or clean the grout in our shower and re-seal, but the handyman said he could not do that involved a service and could only apply a clear silicone adhesive to the main seams of the tiles (corners and around the basw of the shower stall) after removing old grout and prep that area. We were a little disappointed with the inability of the worker do what we needed done, but respected that this is handyman service as opposed to a re-model or more significant repair service. Key is to specify in advance exactly what you need done to see if it is outside the skill capability of the service providers.

Mike was on time and showed up when he said he would, for me that's a GREAT thing. He didn't chit chat til after the job was done. He was polite, efficient and quick. I will call him again!

My garbage disposal did not work and they sent someone out to fix it. He also was going to fix my ice maker. Long story short he left my house a serious mess and the work was not finished right. I had a major leak under my sink which warped the bottom of the cabinet and leaked on to my expensive rug. The rug was ruined and the odor under the sink was awful. I called a plumber to fix it and 300.00 later it was all fixed. I spoke with the owner, a woman. She was very rude and unapologetic. I did not have to pay the LV Handyman bill, but I had to go through the trauma of the experience. I did try to remedy the experience when it happened, but I was treated beyond poorly and the situation was not remedied. The woman, the owner or daughter of the owner yelled at me. Very unprofessional. I would never do business with you again. I did not have Angies List 3 years ago or I would have reviewed it then.

They were too high in price but he was a perfect gentleman. Their estimate was more than what the island had cost em originally so I had to pass.

Nothing negative about this company at all,mgr and owner was very polite on phone ,took my payment over phone,his assoc Shawn has been with company over 12 years and very nice to talk to also.Very professional.

Have had small leak problems in each bathroom so decided to have all of the problem toilet fill valves, floats and flappers changed out at once. It was really easy start to finish. I requested service online and got a follow up phone call within 24 hours. I was scheduled within a couple of days. The plumber showed up on time, finished the work quickly and at a fair price. The work all seems solid and everything is up and working again, without the leaks. Solid company, easy to work with. I'll use them again.

First, let me say I would definitely hire this company and ask for Tom again. Second, Tom was here in my driveway before 8 a.m. We had a comfortable chat about what i wanted done today. and he started work immediately. On his advice, I did postpone an item on my list for his next visit so he can buy the supplies before coming to put in an exterior outlet on the patio. Third, Tom was the best!

As always, Larry arrived on time and ready to give me an estimate for the work I described to him. He offered suggestions and after we agreed on how to proceed, he wrote the estimate. I agreed with the price and he proceeded to begin the prep work on the room before he went to get the materials he needed. It took the better part of the day to complete the job and take care of the cleanup. The actual invoice amount came in lower than the estimate which was a pleasant surprise.
