Request for service responded to fairly quickly. Josh came out to the home. I asked for a breakdown of the services. Estimate I received was not broken down. Sent email back requesting breakdown 2 times. Called josh and left him message but never rexcited call back. I'm not running after anyone and would not use them

The experience from start to finish was fantastic. Dave arrived at my residence right on time and began work that day. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he had to come back the following day to complete the repairs and again, was right on time. The quality of the work was excellent and the price was the best I've seen in the area. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Las Vegas Handyman Senior Craftsman Tommy Speed arrived on time to my home and immediately assessed the required work on my water heater---all of which was not done when it was initially installed two years ago. It has been working fine but it needed earthquake straps and Tommy's skills to do the job right. He did that. Again, I commend Las Vegas Handyman for their professionalism and customer-oriented approach in our community. They were able to expedite my appointment, and on top of that, I had the job completed by a professional. Praise is warranted for an ethical company like Las Vegas Handyman who improves the quality of our lives by the outstanding jobs they perform. Peace of mind is a wonderful state to be in for a homeowner who needs home repairs---and Las Vegas Handyman provides that. So I fully recommend them because I've utilized them many, many times and have always been 100% satisfied.

I was fortunate to have a highly skilled, efficient and pleasant handyman Keith Noble perform a variety of repairs, and he did his jobs outstandlngly. I would definitely request Keith again. His recaulking skills were amazing to the point that his neat and precise work transformed the look of the rooms in the most positive way. In one case he had to remove thick, old caulk around a toilet base before recauking, and the result was a meticulous job! I now know what great caulk work should look like thanks to Keith's skills. His handyman skills are diverse and strong so every job he did improved my home. He moved from project to project in a timely way but always doing a perfect job! He was also pleasant to be around, and I felt safe with him working for hours in my home. I am a long-time user of Las Vegas (Pro) Handyman and have always been 100% happy with their work and work ethic. Everything from scheduling an appointment to executing a perfect job translates into a great company that stands out in our community. I highly recommend them.

Dave Stark was the craftsman sent to me by Las Vegas Handyman and he was fantastic! I had found an advertisement for Las Vegas Handyman in the Mountain's Edge newsletter. I called and got an appointment for a quote very quick. (Especially for summer in Vegas!) When he came, I showed him everything I needed done. I had told him I'm going to get the house painted soon so I can put it up for sale and he told me certain things I wanted to get done that the painters would do for cheaper than he would be able to do it for. I appreciated his honesty with trying to save me some money. I called to schedule an appointment and pay my $100 deposit. Ended up being able to get an appointment for less than a week from when I called. Dave called me right at 07:55 which was before his beginning time frame (supposed to show anytime between 08:00-10:00) to inform me of the last of things he needed to pick up (since the flooring company I had previously purchased the flooring from told him they had my stair nose in stock when they didn't *no surprise. The flooring company was horrible when I used them!*). Gave me an estimated time of when he'd get here and showed up before that. Great communication skills! Most contractors I've hired in the past haven't bothered to call at all. Dave was here about 5 hours to patch and retexture two massive holes in my ceiling from two old ceiling cans I had taken out, replaced a stair nose, repaired the trim on one of my doors that my dog had chewed up, replaced 3 major areas of baseboards, fixed a toilet that wouldn't stop running, and re-glued a transition piece that had come off. Not only did he do a great job, but I was very impressed by how quickly he got all of it done. Dave had a great personality. Not one of those contractors that comes in and has a bad attitude or is awkard to be around. He was very nice and had a great sense of humor. He was also very meticulous in making sure that nothing was damaged or dirty when he left. I will definitely suggest him to anybody I know needing work. First contractor in Vegas I've had that I've been happy with. I'm moving to Seattle soon and wish I could call him there for anything I need!

I have to say that I'm blown away with how far off the reviews are for this company. I did some research and called a few handymen in town, and decided to get an estimate with Las Vegas Handyman. Now, I have to say, Joel who came out to do our estimate and did part of the work was very pleasant to deal with and really tried his best to accommodate and rectify certain situations. He was the only reason I rated responsiveness/punctuality as fair and professionalism bad, because if it were not for him, all the above would've received F's. Anyhoot, the estimate was fair for the amount of work and he said he could complete in a day. He also said that the crown molding was not his strong suit, so he was going to bring a colleague to do this part. I appreciated his honesty and figured this was a good sign. We were able to schedule for the following week. Joel and "the molding guy" show up promptly at the front end of the time frame we were given for our appointment (they usually give you a 2 hour window of when someone will show up). Joel started to work on his stuff while the other guy said the molding would not be a problem (the door frames became spongy at the bottom due to water damage and we wanted to have this fixed, hence replacing them instead of patching it up). He mentioned that the trim comes primed but not painted, so I said I had the paint for the trim and I would take care of the PAINTING once completed. So he does the work and leaves without discussing anything, however, it was relayed to my fiance that the molding guy would be back tomorrow to do "touch ups" to the framing. So I will say this, I did not judge and wanted to stay open minded that this would look better after the touch ups, but first impression was that it looked AWFUL! It looked like I did it myself! It was not caulked AT ALL so there was a gap of about 1/2" between the trim and the wall, the nails were visible, and the bottom was close to an inch short (it wasn't touching the floor). Now Joel also has to leave at 1pm because he was double booked and said we would be contacted to schedule a time for the following day. OK... so no phone call comes. I call promptly at 8am the next morning, was told there was confusion with scheduling and they couldn't come finish until 2 days later. UH ABSOLUTELY NOT! Angry conversation ensues, long story short, we get both of the guys back out at my home at 4pm that day (mind you, this took several angry phone calls). The molding guy stands by his work, says the trim is supposed to come off the floor "because the tile and things are in the way"... they were most definitely not in the way. Then I'm told that he was under the impression I was doing the caulking and all the finishing work.... UH ABSOLUTELY NOT, at no point I ever agree to caulk and finish the door, I explicitly said I would only paint. Anyhoot, he says he can "fix it" instead of ripping it out. I explained that I could not see the big picture and that if the "fixing" didn't improve it, I would still insist on replacing all of it and starting from scratch. He decided to fix it and needless to say, no improvements. SO he agrees he will re-do the work, however, the soonest he could do the work was in 4-5 days. UH ABSOLUTELY NOT! So I told him to call a manager to discuss this and he said they would contact me in the morning since they were not in the office after 4pm. I asked him if he did not have a manager's cell phone and his response.... "is it really this important to you?".... My not amused face was enough of a response that he called and low and behold his schedule was clear and would come at 8am the next morning. Unfortunately I could not cut this story down to make it a short one because I feel that you, as a reviewer, should get full disclosure since I called based on reviews that I read and was EXTREMELY disappointed. The frame does look 10x better than the first round, but there is still areas where caulk is missing and there are globs of spackle to hide the nails, it's just sloppy. For being "the molding guy"... I cannot believe that this is work anyone would be proud of. To be fair, I understand these guys have their schedule made for them and they are told where to show up. And in the molding guy's defense, he seemed like a nice guy and that he wanted to make it right. I just can't help to think that because the work I needed done wasn't very big, that I wasn't taken serious or was blown off with scheduling matters. I am in the process of putting my home up for sale and had several other trades scheduled (including a photographer for listing photos) that all had to be pushed back due to having 1 day of work stretched out into 3. CHOOSE WITH CAUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interactive and professional. Not a lot to offer without having materials onsite already. I would have my list of projects and all the materials if I was going to use them again.

Everything went very well. Dave arrived within the 2 hour window we were given. He was very personable and very competent. He took care of everything we asked for and did a great job. He also took the time to answer various questions about other things we are planning to have done. We will be asking for him next time we call.

He was really professional and a really nice guy.

Pete kindly provided 2 estimates--one where I purchased the new sinks and faucets and one where he did the purchasing. I chose to make the purchases myself. Pete was courteous, clean, and efficient. He knew what he was doing. He removed all old parts (sinks, faucets, water lines, etc.). As agreed, he not only installed the new sinks and faucets in the master bathroom, but he also replaced the 4 angle stops and the supply lines underneath as they were original and needed to be replaced. I'm very pleased with the results.

It went very well. He came early and completed the job professionally. I was impressed that he replaced my hollow door with a solid door, and charged me less than the initial estimate.

.Aaron was very knowledgeable and professional. He found the problem right away and showed us how to fix it in the future. We would ask for him again for other work.

The Las Vegas Handyman Steve came and estimated the job telling me of my options. He then installed my pool cover, trimmed the over perfectly to fit the pool, attached the pool cover to the reel. When it was all done I was able to unroll the cover with ease and recover the pool again with ease. Steve did a great job - Thanks for the refferal

Work was done quickly and very well at a low price. I was pleased with their service.

We are getting our house ready for sale and needed our master bedroom shower repaired due to water damage. There was also water damage on the ceiling from a previous leak. We are very pleased with the service and professionalism from Las Vegas Handyman. Everything was fully documented along with the change-order. He, "Larry" was always on time and communicated the progress of the work. We are getting ready to have Las Vegas Handyman come out again to do more repairs before putting our house on the market.

He was very nice. He checked all of the lights and installed them for me. I use them constantly; he does a little bit of everything.

I have used this company for over 15 years for my primary and rental residence, always with good result until recently. The last two repairs needed to be re-done, the second required paying another company. I scheduled plumbing work 10 days in advance that was cancelled at 7:30 a.m. for 8-10 arrival. I received another call to reschedule and the same thing happened again with a "so sorry" from Dave who didn't seem to even realize he had done this twice. Two half days off work and now I have to hire someone else. This cannot be the same owners!

On 1-16-2015, Pat Moran of Las Vegas Handyman called to say he was on his way to to our home for his appointment. Upon his arrival, I showed him the work that we wanted done. We have a balcony that needs 4 sheets of 3/4 inch plywood replaced. Pat looked at that and also noticed that the flashing needed replacing also. He took his measurements and said that he would e-mail me the estimate. On 1-19-2015 I received an e-mail with a shocking, ridiculous estimate. His total estimate, and I use the term estimate because he states it could be more, was $2,402.00. The breakdown was labor: $1,834.00 with a 10% discount to $1,652.00, material: $750.00. To confirm how ridiculous this was, I went to Lowe's and priced out the material. Plywood: 4'x8' 3/4" @ $27.97 per sheet; flashing: 80' of pre-bent galvanized flashing @ $4.04 for a 10' length. So, rounding everything up, the 4 sheets of plywood would cost approximately $120.00 and the 8 lengths of flashig would cost approximately $40.00 for a total material cost of approximately $160.00 as opposed to the $750.00 quoted. Now, let's get to the labor of $1,834.00 reduced to $1,652.00. If it were to take him an 8 hour day to do this work, that equates to approximately $206.00/hr. If it took him a day and half or 12 hours, that equates to approximately $137.00/hr. Are you kidding me? That's close to the rate that some lawyers charge. On 1-20-2015, I called the office of Las Vegas Handyman and spoke with an individual by the name od Phil. I explained the situation to him and shared my disappointment and shock of the estimate. I gave him the work order number (40392) and Phil said he would look into it and get back to. Today is 1-23-2015 and I have not had a response. For this being my first experience with Angie's list and picking a company that was highly rated by you, I was very disappointed and disgusted with the outcome. I am moving on and will find someone on my own.

These guys know what they are going.

One of the rollers seized up on the shower glass door. When trying to use it, the doors came out of the track. We found Las Vegas Handyman on Angies List and gave them a call. Rick came right out the next day. He gave us a free estimate to fix it. He got the parts from the store, came right back, and installed new rollers in the shower. We are very impressed with his promptness, professionalism, and friendliness. We will definately use this company again and we highly recommend them!

They did a great job installing the signs, per our specification on location. Also, as we had never installed these types of signs before, and they advised us on the best parts to use, in both the durable and aesthetic categories. They did a great job and we would recommend them to others, should this type of service be needed.
