Chair Dr

Repair work went perfect but they picked up the couch on the 19th of January 2017 and was delivered on the 28th of March. It was totally wrong, 2 different kinds of leather, one smooth and one textured and 2 distinctive different shades and the upholstery job (chaulk marks, stains, puckers ) was so bad we made them take it back to redo. We just received it back on Friday the 5th of May. They sent it out to No-Limits Upholstery and we paid and accepted it. It was just ok still not the leather we had picked out and 2 shades lighter. The curved back does have some tucking that is prominent. The jury is still on the quality of the leather since it isn't the leather we gave them the sample to order. They botch the first order of leather so not sure where the second order came from. We ask in the very beginning, they they did repairs and upholstery and was told yes. Not true my sofa was their first. For repairs they are good for upholstery go somewhere else. Wish I would have.

The first repair went very well with only a slight difference in the color but very acceptable. On the second set of chairs, one repair was missed and the color on one was unacceptable. Both were taken back with the repair done very well, but the color still was not what was expected. The price for the discolored chair was discounted.

The quality of their work was excellent. The price was fair. Unfortunately they did not keep their word about repair time and I was forced to call them repeatedly to get my furniture back. Initially they quoted 2-3 weeks. I called them in the 4th week to ask when they would finish and was told the table leg was done but not the table top and would take 2-3 more days. I called them again after another week went by and now could only get a cellphone voicemail. I left 3 messages total on their cellphone voicemail, none of which were returned. After leaving my last voicemail, I suspected they were deliberately avoiding talking to me, so I called again right away from a different phone. They answered immediately. Guess what? They delivered my furniture in 2 hours after that last call. Never at any point was I rude to them - I just wanted my furniture back. Solid workmanship marred by terrible service.

Mike did an amazing job. Called, sent pictures of table, got a quote, scheduled a visit within a few days from the call. Showed up as agreed (most other places wanted me to send table to them). He fixed the crack, tightened or replaced missing screws/bolts and touched up not only the repaired area, but the whole table. Looks amazing. And best of all, the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Mike.

It went very well. Andrew repaired the leg and made sure the other legs were secured as well. I would definitely hire Chair Dr. again. They were very professional, arrived exactly on time and proceeded to make the repair quickly and correctly. The price was very fair. i highly recommend them.

I went to a lot of people to get the chair fixed. It had a lot of metal parts to it, I tried to get it apart and I couldn't do it. I went to five different upholsterers with my chair and they all said that they couldn't fix it. I finally had gave up and I happened to be looking somewhere and I came across the name Chair Dr and I looked it up and he did exactly what I needed. He took care of it right away. If I could give him more than an "A", I would.

The craftsmanship is perfect and I would recommend this company for any furniture repair.

These guys did a fantastic job or refurbishing two antique Bombay night stands. They resurfaced and polished the surfaces, re-glued the joints and re-assembles the doors, hinges and locks. The night stands no longer wobble and doors close and lock. The alligators were covered in glue from previous poor repairs. The Chair Dr. removed the old glue and re-assembled the sections to provide an almost new looking alligator set with invisible repair lines. The business is difficult to locate but well worth the effort to find and get your repairs completed.

This gentleman came in and suggested he build a base for those three pieces and attach the existing legs to the base so the pressure would not be on the skimpy legs but spread out on the base. My concern was the same cherry wood look as the legs or some awful brown. I can not begin to tell you how beautiful it turned out. It was perfect. He gave me solutions to things that were wrong that made sense. He talked to me like the owner of the house not a woman. Sheena who worked int he office was professional, nice and tried to really understand what I wanted.
