Besides to many ugly houses the Las Vegas housing boom created to many hideous and inappropriate "entertainment nooks". Mine was 108" wide, 24" deep and 65" high. I wanted to put a bookcase in the nook and end up having it look like a built-in. The designer came heard what I want, gently offered some suggestions. I was impressed by what a good listener she was. Installation was scheduled, workers arrived on time, worked neatly and created the exact book case I wanted.

My experience with them was excellent. I would grade them highly in all the categories.

I called them for the two jobs at two different times. I loved the design of the first person that came out. She made my master closet into a perfect area for me and my cat that shares the space. The job was completed with two men in an efficient way. They completely cleaned up after peforming the work. The second closet didn't work out exactly as I had thought it would. I didn't feel I had enough storage space for linens. I complained to the company and they were extremely y responsive and came out immediately and corrected the problem. Now I am completely happy with both closets. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Showed up on time, everything went according to plan, cleaned up after themselves, and overall, the service went very well.

They were wonderful. They were easy to work with and they were responsive. They did a great job and it was done quickly and beautifully. It was terrific. The price was very fair. The installer and designer were very professional. I would recommend them highly and they should win a star award. I would absolutely use them again.

We recently retired and moved from Houston to Las Vegas where we downsized our home. In doing so we lost closet space particularly in the master bedroom closet. We called three contractors who specialized in closet organization. Each came to our home, listened to our needs, and then developed a design and cost estimate for our consideration. What set California Closets ahead of the competition to begin with was how well they listened to our needs. They quickly picked up on our desire for an efficient but cost effective solution. The took far more measurements of our closet and the amount of clothes we had to accommodate than did their competitors. When they returned with their design and estimate, they worked with us to minimize cost without compromising the solution. When we asked them about including solutions that had been offered by their competitors they were able to show where many of those ideas has downsides that we had not considered. However, they actually incorporated a few into their design and provided a revised cost. We were also impressed by the fact that their installers are employees of California Closets and not subcontractors. Also they had very good reviews on Angie's List and other internet sites. We actually were surprised that they were the lowest cost given their reputation and national recognition. Our representative Lori was top notch and a professional throughout the entire process. One of their competitors lost out because they failed to provide references which were easily available for California Closets. The final competitor simply could not compete in terms of timing for installation. So we signed the contract and the installation team was at our house in five days. They were on time and equally as courteous and professional taking care to put down mats to protect the floors. They worked steadily and were done in less than six hours. They cleaned up completely before leaving and hauled away all the removed shelving and rods. Then the final test came - putting our things back into the closet. We then discovered we just needed a few more feet of closet rod a fewer shelves. This is where California Closets and Lori really shined. We told her exactly what changes we needed. They could have really raised the price since we were committed to their system. But they provided the materials for a very reasonable cost. Then we expected it might take a week to get on their schedule. Instead, Lori placed the order, picked up the materials, and came and installed three new rods and modified some shelving for us within three days. Our California Closets system is just what we needed and the entire experience of dealing with the company was a pleasure. Maybe the competitors could have provided just as good a product and service. All we know is that California Closets far exceeded the expectations of two people who have remodeled four homes and completely re-built a home after Hurricane Katrina. We would recommend them to anyone who is considering installation of a closet organizing system.

We had three companies come out to discuss our needs. In the end, we only obtained two bids because the third company had an "F" rating with the local BBB. Design Consultant Darren seemed to understand what we wanted and to know his 'stuff." He had us to the showroom to go over his drawings and to select the products, at which time we met the franchise owners and saw several examples of CC's work in the showroom. This instilled a lot of confidence in us and is what ultimately caused us to chose California Closets (CC) over the other contractor whose bid was lower. Darren estimated that the work would take a little more than 2 days; it took 3 full days. But the workers were very conscientious, they did not make any unnecessary mess, they arrived on time, worked full days, were respectful, and cleaned up at the end of each work day so I am not complaining. The office looks a million times better than it did before the remodel. It is not quite as functional as I had hoped. We reviewed the designs in detail with Darren twice, but we missed or did not understand a couple of things. Also, I thought the scrapbooking surface would be much bigger than it is, but there is only so much space in the room, so it's probably not CC's fault. Darren was so good (competent, attentive, personable) when he was trying to get the sale (courtship) and during the design phase, that I was actually very surprised when he didn't show up when the work was being done to see how it was going; nor did he call to see if we were happy when the work was completed; nor did he stop by afterward to see how it came out. In other words, Ladies, don't expect to cuddle after! The dimmer touch pad for the lights above my husband's computer fell down within a week. California Closets' owner Megan was responsive and sent someone out twice to fix it, and to strengthen the other two dimmer touch pads so that they wouldn't also fall. His fixes (a "better" glue or tape) didn't work, so my husband juryrigged a fix using plastic mirror clips. My husband's fix worked. There was a misunderstanding about the direction in which certain files would face -- I guess neither my husband nor I understood what Darren meant by "lateral." Megan charged me $45 to have the drawer recut, but did not charge me for the visit to do the recutting because the repair person had to come out to take care of the dimmer pads anyhow. I thought that was fair. I do think the sales person / Design Consultant should make sure clients understand the terminology when going over the designs. That would have saved me $45; a return visit; and perhaps we could have come up with a design that would have allowed for more leg room. Darren does in fact know his stuff and is a good designer. I do, however, have one other complaint about Darren. When I called him with a few items to "tweak," he was not receptive. That is why I ended up working with Megan on the file drawer and the light pads. Everyone who sees our office is blown away by how beautiful it is. (We had the room repainted and replaced the carpeting with hardwood.) Sometimes we just stand in the doorway and admire the room! Although the office is not absolutely perfect, it's our fault as much as California Closets'. And I'm not sure one can ever obtain absolute perfection. I will definitely have them bid when we decide to have the closets in the master suite organized. Overall, I do recommend them to home owners in the Las Vegas Valley.

We got two estimates and decided to go with California Closets because they not only did scale drawings, they also provided renderings showing us how each closet would work. The two men who installed the closets arrived on time and cleaned up everything afterward. California Closets was more expensive than our other estimate but they did an excellent job, the closets look great and we have tons of usable closet space now.

The conusltant was professional and on time. The prices are not cheap but fair. The workers were a day over in installation. We did call to complain and we did receive a form of compensation. The closet materials and installation has held up well.

It actually went quicker that we originally thought it would.

The installers arrived on time (actually early!) and proceeded to work on my wife's closet. They were very professional and courteous, worked continually until the job was done. They returned the next working day and installed my closet system, again earlier than scheduled, which was not a problem. My wife and I are very satisfied with the results! We will use them again for some other projects we have planned for our new home.

After stopping by their showroom, we scheduled an appointment in a few days time. Their rep called before arriving(on time), took measurements and an inventory of our stuff, then talked about our options. A few days later she returned(on time, after calling)with drawings. We returned to the showroom, selected our finish, color, hardware, and overall design, and set up a date for installation. They called to confirm the day before, and the next day installed our closet. A few days after installation, their rep called to check in. We had one small caveat with the installation, which she promptly promised to resolve. And did. All in all, this was a smart, professional job done efficiently, with no pressure. The price is somewhat high because we went high end on everything, knowing we'd be looking at this closet for years.

They were expensive, but the quality is worth it and the installation was scheduled and performed efficiently. Love the look and will likely use them again. Very professional company. Received a reminder about the installation and a phone call asking how I felt about the product and installation. Job was done within 12 days after estimate.

They had someone come over to take a look, so they had a general idea of what they had to work with. We had some input, and they listened to our suggestions. They were prompt, and finished the entire job in one day. The finished product is not only functional, but very pleasing to the eye. All the sawdust was vacuumed up, and the new storage space has created more room for us to move.

California Closets impressed me with every aspect of their project, as their work was top quality. I was one hundred percent satisfied. The crew was experienced and bent over backwards to help me. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

California Closets gave my wife the exact closets she wanted and that made her happy, so I'm happy. They did made several suggestions for us and really backed up what they said. I felt they did reliable work and responded quickly to our requests or problems. The give a lifetime warranty that they stand by.

California Closets did the closet according to the exact design that my daughter and I wanted. The closet is beautiful and really is gorgeous. We had another contractor start it, but they were screwing it up and California Closets came out and finished the work. I can't recall the price, but they did an excellent job.
