C & M Handymen

I paid for one handyman to work for 8 hours. When the guy showed up, he announced that he had brought two helpers with him so they would only be there for 2 1/2 hours. I was not consulted regarding the change in the agreement. The main guy was competent, however his "helpers" were totally inept. They stood around doing nothing, waiting for him to tell them what to do, and then they stood around trying to figure out how to do what he told them. Essentially, there was only one person working. I paid over $200 for 2 and 1/2 hours of work by one person. The work was not completed. I still have to hire someone else to complete the work. This is the second time I have used Angie's list and the second time I have received less than acceptable work. I will not be using Angie's list again

Terrible! Chris came out to bid the job and said it would only take 2 days to do the job. They spent over a day to put dry wall in my master bedroom (only need a total of 1+ walls left for them. It actually took 4 days. I had to purchase equipment and supplies for them, and then they took the equipment that I purchased and after saying they would return it, they never did. They textured the bedroom but never finished the drywall corners there or in the living room. We had to hire another crew to come in and finish the job and do the texturing in the living room since it was done so lightly you couldn't see it.

Everything went pretty smooth. He replaced a fan in the living room and patched some holes on the kitchen walls. He also fixed a leaking faucet and unclogged my bathroom sink, he even thought me how to do it on my own, I think that was very cool. I also had some heavy boxes blocking my patio door and he kindly moved them for me.

I wanted to improve how my bedrooms looked and I attempted to do the job myself trying to save money. I had no clue what kind of paint I needed, so the job I did by myself wasnt very good. I ended up calling a friend and she referred me to Chris, I should have called him before I attempted to paint on my own. He was very affordable and had the right tools and knew how to fix the walls I had ruined. He also installed light fixtures in every bedroom and ran the wires inside the walls, making it look very niece and neat. I liked how friendly he was and his rates are hard to beat. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman.

I needed to fix some plumbing issues in an apartement to rent and Chris did an excellent job, like always. He went to Home Depot with me and helped me select the right faucet and all materials needed, and he also fixed my leaking toilet the same day. I am a property manager and I have used Chris's services for a few years, he was working for a different company, but the professionalism in which he performs his job and knowledge makes him a valuable handyman to have around for my maintenance issues at the different units that I manage.

My A/C broke down and I needed to install a ceiling fan until I could have A/C fixed, so I called Chris and he was able to come the same day. He was very friendly and professional. He did a really good job, fast and accurate.
