Bulldog Air Conditioning and Heating LLC

Last week Bulldog HVAC company called to offer me a free inspection of my system. I had used them before with no problem for my AC tune-up. They came out and told me that I had a small leak on the refrigerant line but the unit was operating fine and that he'd go back to the owner of the company to have them check because I said my unit was still under warranty. The owner called and said the leak had caused damage to the coil and the compressor and sent me two quotes, one for $8690 to fix with a one year warranty or $12774 for a replacement with a 10 year warranty. He said the company I had install it didn't register the warranty and that I had only had a one year warranty on my unit. So I called the company who installed it. They came out today and checked out the whole unit and said I had a faulty capasitir and it was still under warranty and all I had to pay was the labor of $225 including service call. I hope others haven't fallen for their scam

My old systems were about 18 years old(original builders installation)and they were still working okay. I noticed some issues and decided it was prudent to replace them before it become an "emergency" on a 115 degree summer day. I got quotes and interviewed 6 companies. I found Bulldog to be the best overall choice. Derrick(President)was very responsive to all my informational requests. They weren't the cheapest quote I got, but I had a very good feeling about the company. They've been in business about 2 years and had several good reviews. I went with my gut and chose them. The installation process went very smoothly and as promised. Awaiting some more normal Vegas weather to see how things work out when the heat hits. Overall, very satisfied with them and would highly recommend.

Excellent. The folks at Bulldog came when they said they would be there. In fact they were about 10 minutes early (both for the estimate and the work). Everyone I dealt with was professional, office staff and in the field. Worked quickly and did the job on time with no mess. I would use them again.

First unit went smoothly, Second unit took a little more time due to the size of the unit. All done professionally. Would definitely use again.

I’ve dealt with multiple AC companies, some good quality some bad but the main issue has always been pricing and flexibility. It’s absolutely insane the ramped up pricing you get here in Las Vegas when you get three quotes and none of them make any sense. Bulldog is the first contractor company I have dealt with that you can feel confident they won’t try double dipping and will give you the best fair price and excellent workmanship, they showed up on time, got the job done in time and within budget. They had no problem with me sourcing out the units elsewhere and charging me installation where many others will try to get a profit margin on both purchase and install. I’m so glad I was able to find them.

I contacted Bulldog Air Conditioning to repair a heater at one of our rental properties. I called Bulldog and Derrick the owner returned my call within an hour despite the fact he was on another job taking care of another client. The valley was experiencing a cold chill and Bulldog was very busy with numerous service calls. I explained our situation with Derrick and he agreed to take our service call request himself despite his already full schedule for the day. Derrick showed up on time and got right to work on the problem. Derrick was very knowledgeable and professional. He reviewed his findings with my wife and made the required repair. His price was very competitive and reasonable. The quality of the work was excellent and very clean. Derrick even called back the next day to follow up on the repair and make sure all was OK. One of the things that impressed me about Bulldog Air Conditioning was they treated my service call as if it was the most important one they had. We have had service performed on our properties over the years and found Bulldog Air Conditioning to be the best. Being a General Contractor whom has worked with many air conditioning companies over the years , that says a lot. There was no doubt we will call Bulldog Air Conditioning for all our air conditioning and heating needs in the future. The tech was prompt, professional and informative. He helped me correct a few things that I was doing wrong and increased efficiency while providing tips for long term care of my units.
