Blue Haven Pools

The decking of our pool began cracking and breaking off about four years ago and has gotten quite bad. I went to Blue Haven pools to ask about someone who could repair it, thinking that their people could best match the existing decking and we were willing to pay to have it repaired. They gave us the name and number of their decking person, who we called on several occasions, left messages and never got a call back. We subsequently called Blue Haven several times to see if we could get some help from them. These calls were supposed to be returned by the manager, but he apparently couldn't be bothered either. I'm disappointed that Blue Haven has little consideration for their past customers.

The pool was supposed to be done in 60 days. That was a month ago. For the decking of the pool Blue Haven installed pavers "to match" the ones already in the back yard. All existing pavers on the property were sealed but Blue Haven says "we don't do that" but of course that info only comes after they are installed. Up until install it was that the pavers would match what were already in the yard. Another thing Blue Haven "doesn't do" is install the required alarms. They just drop a box in your back yard with the alarms

1. The sales rep stopped by our house in December and looked around. He indicated that they were going to stop doing unlimited excavation soon and I said "I will commit to you today, but I want unlimited excavation!" 2. It took a long time to get official estimates on the pool. By the time they came through, the unlimited excavation was gone. 3. I spent over an hour and a half in their office working through an offer sheet. I purchased additional excavation time on the condition that it would cover any additional time beyond the estimated 36 hours 4. I was told later that my offer was refused. No counter offer, nothing, just refused and "see you later" 5. I called back and was astonished they wouldn't even make an offer. I asked them to give me an offer that did not include unlimited excavation. I was told one was going to be fedex'd to me. 6. I have not received the offer via FedEx. My calls are now going unreturned. --------------------UPDATE--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After contacting the new home construction office that referred us and complaining, demanding removal of all Blue Haven brochures, we received a phone call from a manager at Blue Haven. They responded with something somewhat workable but we have already contacted two other companies (which my Dad told me to do from the very start) and are waiting on their bids.

They are doing very well so far. It takes about 90 days to fully complete the job from the ground breaking.

I contacted many pool builders around the Las Vegas area and was confused by many of the terms and concepts they were trying to get me to sign on with. Blue Haven did an excellent job making the whole process VERY simple, to include in-house financing! The sales team was OUTSTANDING. Mr. Mike Faulkner (Work 702-795-9500) (Cell 512-965-7255) was my sales person and he made the whole process a dream. The entire sales team at Blue Haven was very helpful and explained everything along the way. At no time did I ever feel like i was being taken advantage of or deceived. They were completly up-front and honest which i enjoyed! The level of craftmanship was OUTSTANDING!!!! Every member of the Blue Haven subcontracting team did an excellent job and was very professional! The pool turned out better than expected and my family couldnt be happier!!!
