Description of Work: Cleaned out & emptied files from computer tower & transferred all files to laptop & flash drive. Installed new anti-virus software. Syd is amazing at all things computer related! He is our "go-to" person anytime we have an issue or problem & we never hesitate to call him if needed. He has even worked remotely from his own home to fix or follow-up on a concern of ours!!! We are soooooo lucky to have found Syd a few years back... We highly recommend him & the services he provides!!!

Description of Work: I had had a problem with my PC losing large chucks of Free Space on my C Drive. I believe that I had resolved the problem, but I had Syd come check my computer to verify that the problem was solved and to make sure that the computer didn't have any other problems that might hinder upgrading to Windows 10. Syd installed a program so that I could more easily see the size of all of the files on the computer so, if the problem returned, I wouldn't have to spend hours checking each file. He also spent time explaining some of the difference between Window 7 and Window 10. Syd answered all of my questions and never made me feel that I was wasting his time.

Description of Work: I am the least techi person ever so what he did is a bit hard for me to say. What I do know is that my previously pokey computer is now fast, I am on Google Chrome which is wonderful, I have a malware program and a clean up program. Best of all I have a smart, friendly and oh so knowledgeable repair guru on speed dial and am very confident that any problems in the future will be fixed....

Description of Work: Syd transferred 6 video tapes to DVD for me. These were very old video's, some of which were not marked! One of them turned out to be a 40 year old video of my sister's wedding day and since her husband has passed I've taken it back to Syd to put it on it's own DVD to send to my sister. I've recently taken another set of video tapes that I discovered back to him. I totally trust Syd, he does exactly what he tells you that he will do!

 + -1 moreSyd did a great job! He even edited a portion of one tape so that the middle section would be at the end, making it a more seemless video. I appreciated him adding titles to scenes on each DVD (just like a movie DVD). I was very pleased with Syd's work, professionalism, and would not hesitate to use him again.
Description of Work: I hired Syd to transfer several VHS-C tapes to DVD. These were particularly important to me as most of them were of my grandchildren when they were toddlers.

He was prompt and efficient. I thought he could have edited out some of the early parts, but over all, I was pleased and would use him again.
Description of Work: Syd did a video of a memorial service, and provided disks from the recording. He also added music.

 + -1 moreSyd transferred several old home movies to DVD. Due the age, many were not very high quality anymore. Syd was upfront about that and I completely understood. I was pleased with the end result other than after the fact I wished I could have chosen music but just didn't think about it at the time. I have also given him some DVD copy work from the office I work in. He gets things done very quickly and accomodated us in a rush situation. Unfortunately with the economy, we haven't had work to give him this past year. Syd is not only a professional but a super nice person besides and easy to work with.
