Turns out, John is a thief. He quoted two jobs. One for $700 and one for $185. I paid him for both jobs. He took the money and ran.

Barrera Lawn Maintenance came early in the morning and started the job of trimming and thinning my trees. They worked on each tree shaping and thinning them so they looked good. Because there was a lot of branches and leaves, I was worried that clean up might be a problem, however these men did a super job cleaning up. I was very happy with their work.

They came out to one sprinkler and a valve, and not even an hour later it was leaking again. They also did clean up for me. I called them to ask if they can come back since it was just a 15min drive and they never returned my call or came back so I ended using someone else.

Before we used Barrera we had 3 other landscaping maintenance services and were dissatisfied with all of them. They would leave things undone, make excuses and not always show up when scheduled. Then Barrera was recommended by a neighbor. They gave us a quote which was very fair and we established a monthly service. They always come on time, everything is completely taken care of and the premises are left neat, and if any extra services are requested their estimate is always fair. Javier, the owner, is easy to reach by cell phone with any special instructions. They have repaired broken pipes, problems with the sprinkler system as needed and more. The mere fact that they have been our landscape maintenance service for several years now after three unsatisfactory companies speaks to their competence and friendly attitude. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking affordable, reliable service with a smile.

They do work for almost the whole street in my neighborhood. The prices are reasonable, and if you have a problem they will return the call and change things if necessary. They will come when they say they will be there.

The price is very, very reasonable. They're very prompt. They come every Monday. They're helpful. If I ask them to do something a little out of the ordinary, they will do that. They're very congenial; it's a nice group of men.
