Artiques Las Vegas

At first it started out great. They were able to take back a table that wouldn't fit into the room that we bought it for but after that, everything went wrong. We had ordered a dining room table and chairs. They cancelled the order without telling us because "the chairs were out of stock". We didn't find out that they cancelled the order until weeks later when we went to the store to check on the status. We were able to find the exact same chairs in another store down the road and they were cheaper. The sales lady where the chairs were in stock showed us that on the manufacturers website that the chairs were available for quick delivery. We brought this information back to the owner of Artiques and she said she would order the chairs for us for the same price as the other store, only to throw it in our face down the road that she gave us such a great price on the chairs that we should be happy with that and not worry about what else was going wrong. We were talked into getting a custom sofa built. We had the gentleman come out and measure the living room and talk to us for an hour about what we wanted. We received the sofa in a timely manner but it was so ridiculously wrong it was mind boggling. The delivery guys gauged our stone floors in 3 different spot. The owner did offer to rebuild the sofa in our house but it was too little too late. She never once mentioned the floor. We ordered a desk in August and were told that it would be a 4-6 week delivery. We didn't receive it until December. I tried to cancel the order after it reached the 3 month mark and she said it was a custom order and couldn't be cancelled, even though they were the ones that guaranteed it would be here in a timely manner. She kept on saying "it'll be here this weekend". That went on for 6 weekends until we FINALLY got it. There are so many other things that happened- they are just too many to write down. All in all the items we purchased and the items in the store are very nice. A little overpriced but not horrible. It's just the customer service was atrocious. I know they are moving to Boca Park and will have a cute store but I would not recommend them to anyone. I can guarantee that we will never set foot in their store again.
