Excellent customer service start to finish!

WE caused the problem by my husband mistakenly turning off the water to the ice maker. The lack of activity for several days caused the water remaining in the valve/inlet to freeze solid. My attempts to defrost it using various methods on the internet did not work so, based on List reviews we called Appliance Repair Experts for help. The man on the phone was friendly and helpful. We got an appointment for the next day. The tech (James) arrived within the window and seemed knowledgable. He gave us an estimate immediately ($130) He cleared the obstruction, but the icemaker still didn't fill. He seemed to feel that our R/O system was to blame and, in fact, just before he came we had emptied the R/O tank to recharge it so he gave us an estimate to replace the valve, which he felt had most likely been damaged by the ice. We decided to wait to see if, once the RO tank was filled, the water would work and if it didn't we would call him back and arrange for the new valve. There was some sort of confusion between him and my husband as to which direction was "on" and "off" for the valve feeding the tube to the refrigerator but they finally, we thought, got it figured out (my husband CAN be confusing/confused and stubborn about it). After he left we decided that we should "bleed" the line of air before it attempted to fill again. In that process we discovered that the valve was, indeed OFF. We turned it on and when it next cycled, everything was fine! Bottom line is: He came on time. He fixed the problem. Then we had a comedy of errors that turned out okay... I am new to the area so I can't speak to how their pricing compares to others and what is "normal" here....it just seemed a bit high to me from experience elsewhere. That being said, we would definitely use them again.

I am very pleased with the outcome, the response, and the customer service that this company has provided. I will definitely call this company again whenever I need any more appliances repaired.

He came..he diagnosed...he fixed.

Appliance Repair Experts sent Tom to the house the same day I called for an appointment. He disassembled the control panel of the dryer, which is over 20 years old, diagnosed the problem and ordered the appropriate part. The following week his company called to make an appointment to replace the part. Tom was right on time. During the time of the initial call and the installation of the part, I was able to track the progress of the repair and the expected arrival of the part and technician. Great work, and I'll call them again when needed.

I call these folks and they came almost right away. Excellent service tech: professional, courteous, came prepared. Turned out the oven control electronics were shot, needed a new PC board. They had the part in stock! He went and got it and the repair was done. When he took the extra step to check the incoming 240v power,that revealed the reason the PC board went out, my outlet in the house had a short in it or ? Now I have called Angie's list for an electrician! Appliance Repair Experts was exactly what I was hoping for, nice honest folks that pay attention and would have taken the time to explain the issue and do the right thing for anyone else in the house!

The technician was able to repair my oven within a short period of time, and was very friendly and helpful. He was professional and prompt and seemed very knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.

It went very well. Checked, found problem, fixed, In and out quick and professional.

Called at 5pm on a Saturday, they showed up at 8pm, solved the problem (which was minor but tricky to diagnose). Just charged me the minimum trip fee which was very much appreciated. Technician, Roy was very polite and professional. A very good experience.

1st trip cleaned my coils. second trip repaced thermostate. third trip tried to adjust new thermostate.fourth trip repaced thermostat.after that i had to adjust the temp setting myself

Jeff was very professional and friendly and certainly knows his stuff and brands too. He called me when he was on his way and the office stayed in contact too with confirming the appointment the day before and on that day. The customer Service staff in the office are top notch too and very pleasant. The overall price seemed a bit high for such a simple repair but I was pleased to have it done in such a timely and professional manner. I too am in sales and operate a small retail business. Im a firm believer in the old saying, " you get what you pay for".

We were expecting a hefty bill and a bunch of double talk about how much it would cost and have added costs after the first estimate. That did not happen with this company. Very honest and up front with the entire process. Bryan was very professional and understand of our needs. Great job and experience!

The service person they sent was very professional. He immediately figured out the problem, told me what it would cost and changed the parts right away. When he opened up the dryer he thoroughly vacuumed out the inside of it and even put the closet door back on for me! Overall he was very professional and went above and beyond what he needed to do in my opinion. The laundry room was in better shape when he left than when he got there. Most importantly the dryer was fixed and has been working great.

Repair man came on Friday morning and diagnosed the problem with the dryer. He gave me the price to fix. He didn't have the part on the truck, so we made an appointment to come back on Saturday morning. He arrived on time Saturday and completed the job. The estimate was what he charged me. Very friendly and professional.

The front loading Maytag washer was leaking into the drawer below. It was due to a leaking valve, and the serviceman, Brian, didn't have the valve in his truck, but he returned the same day, and removed the old part, showed me where and why it was leaking, and installed the new part. The repair man said that since the thermostat was bad, the unit was not freezing properly. The self diagnostic readout on the front of the refrigerator door said it was 28 degrees in the freezer when the setting was at +4 degrees F. He said the ice maker would not make ice unless temp was below 20 degrees. All the while he was doing this he had the fridge and freezer doors open. I observed that how could the temp be any lower with doors open? Anyway, after he left, I just adjusted the freezer temp setting from +4 down to -2 degrees and put a freezer thermometer in the freezer compartment. An hour later I checked the thermometer and it read -2 degrees on the dot. And soon after that, the ice maker started making ice again and has been working fine ever since. Although I appreciate that the repair man declined to proceed with repairs when he felt I had a legitimate warranty claim, he clearly misdiagnosed the issue. It appears that running the diagnostics, resetting the unit to factory settings and resetting the temp to -2 degrees corrected the issue. I did not call Samsung to start a warranty claim.

imspoke with someone on the phone and described the problem. tried to reset the garbage disposal and unjam it myself which was not the problem. the woman on the listed to the noise it was making and explained the water was not emptying out of the sink or through the disposal. the repairman arrived and immediately told me that he could not repair this problem and the unit would need to be replaced. also told me he was not a plumber and that he could not work on the c;logged pipe. i explained that i would not pay the minum charge $70 for him to tell me i needed a plumber. he then opened the pipe snaked the drain and fixed the problem. told me he was not a licensed plumber and shouldnt be doing this. then, he proceeded to tell me that the charge for his unlicensed service was now $120 not $70. that the $70 was to come out and diagnose and that the "labor" was $120. THIS WAS NJINKJJN N!! this company jacked up the charge for no reason. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! they are a ripoff and gouge customers.

They were very responsive and came out on the same day I called. I did have to call them after a week to check on the parts, but once the parts arrived they came the same day again. The repair man was very professional and knowledgable. He cleaned up after himself on both trips. I would recommend this company.

The technician was very prompt and professional. He stated the problem was a short in the igniter and he had one in his truck. He replaced it and as of now the dryer is working fine but it has only been a few days. The problem is the part cost was 50.00 and he charged 150.00 for 15 minutes of work with a 20.00 discount. I feel the charge for 15 minutes of work was way overpriced and may think twice before calling them again.

I called A.R.E on thursday and had an appointment for friday. Jon was the tech that arrived to fix my washer and he was the best. When washing a pillow (huge no-no) it was destroyed and all the stuffing was everywhere. I thought I had cleaned it completely but the washer was stuck on the rinse cycle and would not spin. Jon (the tech) arrived and he was the best. He was very nice and professional. Jon found the problem, there was still pillow stuffing everywhere, he unclogged the washer and made sure it was cleaned out completely. He cleaned up after, he left no mess and I was able to use the washer again. I was very happy with the service and would 100% use them again and of course recommend them to anyone who needs repairs.

This company was great! I am happy that they came to my rescue and solved my problem. The price was reasonable. I would not mind calling them again, if something breaks that they are able to work on. I think that this company has professionals who know their business and they have good ethics.Thank you,
