Removed blockage in pump, and everyone was on their way once worker could get the billing hardware set.. Didn't breakdown price- i.e., didn't give price of 49.95 that would be applied to service call, just gave $140 price that was supposedly $20 of price. Price was agreed on.
Description of Work: Repair of Cabrio Whirlpool washer that did not drain.

+ 0 moreAppliance Headquarters repairman arrived when he said he would. He was professional and respectful. When we called other places to come ou,t they said it would be a week before they could come. I couldn't go without a clothes dryer for that long. Appliance Headquarters came out the next day after my call.
Description of Work: Dryer was running but clothes were not getting dried. Appliance Headquarters found out the dryer vent leading to the outside was completely full of lint.

Mike L. came back to look into the issue further and spent a lot of time with me. He ended up coming to my home 3 days in a row to get the issue resolved. He was was very diligent and professional.
Description of Work: They changed the starter button my dryer, which had gone bad.

+ -1 moreThe refrigerator we purchased from RC Willey in Summerlin started to display error codes. The refrigerator is approximately 3 years old. It is a very long story, but I will try to make it short. It took 13 visits before everything was up and running again. The original issue, once repaired, caused other problems with the refrigerator. Each time we scheduled an appt. we were given a 4 hour window for the service technician to arrive. That equates to 52 hours of waiting time and sometimes the wait time was even longer. If we were not retired and patient, there is no way that we could have taken so much time away from our jobs to wait for the repairman. Finally they sent out their Senior Technician, Mike, to try to fix the problem. We were given a noon to 5 timeframe. We received a call indicating that he would be at our home at around 7 pm. At 9 pm, we assumed he was not coming. He arrived at 930 pm and was here past 11pm. He was accompanied by his apprentice whom he treated very impatiently and rudely. We felt very sorry for the apprentice. No one should bully another person like that , especially in front of the customer. It still took several more visits, and we refused to have Mike the Senior Technician, in our home again. Finally a different technician, named Mike L. Was able to repair our refrigerator in a satisfactory manner. It took approximately one and a half months to fix the refrigerator.
Description of Work: This provider is contracted by RC Willey to perform extended warranty repairs on large appliances.

+ -1 morePlaced order on-line for part - rep contacted me to verify part, availability, store location, & hours - arrived to pick up part - store closed, but an employee came out & explained why they closed early & had me come in since my part was pulled earlier in the day. I purchased the part & asked them to check on the availability of another part. They were more than willing to assist w/ my request. Excellent customer service & knowledgeable. Contacted them the following day for additional info regarding my attempt to trouble shoot microwave problem further. Once again they were very professional, patient, & informative. Part cost half the price quoted on-line by other companies.

+ -1 moreI have used this appliance repair service twice: once to replace a computer component in my washing machine (Whirlpool Duet big tub) and replace a "dying" motor in my dishwasher (LG). On both occasions, the technician explained exactly what needed to be done (at the lowest cost option with the max performance return). While doing the repair work, he provided good maintenance tips for both appliances, and gave me positive life-cycle expectations for continued use for both appliances. He was fast, efficient and polite. Both appliance have been in excellent working order since the repairs. I feel I was provided exceptional service, at a fair price, without a "snow job." I will definitely use them again as needs dictate.

+ -1 moreUnit had stopped cooling - it was about 12 years old. Technician was very knowledgeable and tried to revive the system. It was not the electronics - which he would have replaced - but a bad compressor. The technician worked for 2 hours and tried to fix it because he said it was a good brand (GE). When compressor failed to turn on he recommended a new frig and was very sorry he could not fix it. I would call them again.

Description of Work: Well, in the end the provider did nothing for us because they did not show up at the end of a very long wasted weekend day. I arranged on a Sunday morning to have them come repair a gas dryer that had gone out the night before. I was thrilled that they gave me a 3 to 7 window that day. So after hurrying home from our errands to be available at the start of that window, I get a call that the tech wouldn't be there until the end of that window...not great, but OK they called. About 6 pm the tech calls and says he's on his way and would be here soon. I tell him to be careful because it had been raining and some roads might be difficult...my mistake apparently because the guy calls me back in 30 seconds and says the roads are too bad. I was suspicious that he could go from being on his way to being stopped by the rain in about the time it takes to dial a phone number- so I asked when he could get to me in the morning. He replied he only works nights so he had to call the office then call me back. An hour passes...no call. I call the office, the receptionist seemed to know about me, due to the tech's call, I assume...but no one had called me back. I ask her when I could get someone in the morning and that this guy's excuse had seemed pretty convenient and very suspicious (like he wanted to get off early or had just proceeded to the next person on the list and I provided an excellent excuse for him). She said she was booked in the morning, but I could get a 4 hour window in the afternoon. So I'm guessing that I was just way too accommodating and easy to put off after first taking what she offered. the company seemed so unreliable at this point I decided that the work they would be performing on my dryer -if it was anything like how they honor their schedule- would be shoddy and deceptive at best. I wasted an entire weekend day off waiting for not. So I cancelled and even if it takes a bit longer to get the dryer fixed, I'll give the work to a company that honors their word. This is not a company I would recommend.

The refrigerator is pushing twenty years old and I wouldn't have been surprised if it went. But, it's here today working the best I've ever seen it. + -1 moreOur Maytag dishwasher stopped working. Never used this repair company before. In the Yellow Pages, they were listed under "Maytag Store". In their ad there's only a phone #-702-259-8988. There may be several locations, so although I chose S. Las Vegas Blvd, I really don't know which location responded. They asked if I wanted same day service, I said the next day would be fine. The man arrived on time and was very polite. He checked it out in about 5 minutes, said the control panel needed to be replaced, quoted us a price, and added that we might want to consider buying a new one (ours is 9 years old). My husband and I had already agreed privately that if the repair was going to be $150.00 or more, we'd replace the machine, since it 's already old. We said we didn't want it fixed and he said he wouldn't charge us for coming out, and pleasantly wished us a good day.. Later that day, we went to a large furniture and appliance chain and bought a new dishwasher - not a Maytag.

He gave me the cost of the repair and when I said to do it, he went to the truck got the part and the service was completed within half and hour from start to finish. He was very professional and courteous. If the occasion arises I will use this company again and will also recommend them to my friends and family.

+ -1 moreCalled Sears first because I bought the refrigerator from them and they are also the Maytag repair service for Las Vegas. They could not come out for four days for a service call. Searched for other Maytag repair services when I found Appliance Headquarters. They came out the same day I called and found that my mother board (computer) in the refrigerator needed to be replaced. They ordered the part and came out the next day to install and service the refrigerator. I am very satisfied with the service I received from Appliance Headquarters. I will use them again and refer them to family and friends.

+ -1 moreMike gave me a follow up call and I explained what was happening. He came out with another tech, Robert, with him. They discovered that the water control valve was the culprit, and even though it was in a tight spot underneath the built in unit, they were able to replace it. All is well now, and I have to say I'm impressed with their service. If ever anyone has a problem with ARE, call Mike first and he can get it squared away.
Description of Work: After two trips out and a new ice maker, still no ice. According to the tech, the culprit is a "kinked" plastic hose - even though it flows drinking water just fine, and has been that way for 15 years. $300 later, a neither a replacement part (so much for the 90 day warranty) nor second opinion offered.
