Installed equipment under sink and caused a leak in faucet damaging kitchen cabinet. They refused to fix what they did and said it was a coincidence, They said take them to court.

They send the wrong unit at first, quickly corrected the mistake and even upgraded to unit for the mistake. They helped me through the entired process and answered any questions I had.

I think I got taken a little bit in the price. Not by the guys that put it in, but by the manufacturer itself. The guys that did the service were all "A"s. It's time for me to call them to come out and change the filters. When I had an issue, they came out right away.

This company is very responsive. I emailed inquiring about an RO system, the next day someone contacted me and scheduled an sales appointment for a Saturday, and on Monday my system was installed. The following Sunday I emailed simply to inquire on TDS levels of my new system and the next day someone called me back and stopped by to double check the install. I did not grade price because they are the only Rainsoft dealer in the area with no one else to compare them to. I chose Rainsoft because I had previous experience with this brand and their quality of water. Similar to a previous review my TDS went from 600+ to under 30 with the Rainsoft RO system that American Water Treatment installed (the bottled water I tested came in at 9). In 2007 I have a couple minor issues with the install and service person, but since my second service visit in 2014 I now request Andrew for any service.

One call to American Water Treatment got my system scheduled for needed service the next day. Andrew called on the scheduled day asking if he could come early. He explained all the work and completed it timely and professionally. I've used a couple other firms in town for work on my RO system and this was by far the best experience. I will be a repeat customer.

I called on the Monday afternoon and they scheduled me for the next day between 8 and 10 in the morning. Their representative arrived on time, checked out the old unit and showed me the problems. I decided to following his recommendation to replace it with a new water softener. We discussed several brands and prices levels and I chose the Clack unit. There was no pressure to upgrade to buy an exotic unit that did more than just soften the water. It appears to be a family business and I worked with Andrew whose grandfather started the company many years ago. Andrew was very polite and knowledgeable. He drove back to his company, picked up the softener I ordered and installed it the same day. Andrew explained how to operate the softer, the warranty and filled the unit with salt blocks he supplied. He then cleaned up the area, hosing down my garage and leaving it spotless. I was impressed with the fact I could get every thing done in the same day in only a couple of hours. Highly recommend. In my the review I marked price as a "C" because I have no idea what the price should be for the for this unit plus connection parts and installation. I did not have the time to get multiple estimates and accepted their price based on the good Angies List ratings.

They come out every year and maintain our water system. I think they do an excellent job with what they do. They're knowledgeable about their systems. I think the pricing is good.

I called for a quote and agreed to a 9am Saturday appointment. Mike and Sean arrive on-time and looked at my current water supply. They explained what they could do and the price for each. The water in Las Vegas is very hard so I got both a softener and a RO system. I asked when they could do the work. They said how about right now. Two hours later the system was completely installed. That included finding my wash out and installing a new master water cut-off switch. I cannot believe how much better the water feels and tastes. My TDS went from 600 to 30 with the RO system. These guys really knew their stuff.

They did a wonderful job. There was a lot of work to install the unit under the sink and the whole house system, and they did a great job. They’re very honest people.

This will be a long review as I cannot rave enough about American Water Treatment! I noticed I was getting calcium build-up in my shower so I being a faithful Angie's List customer logged on to find someone to check our water softener. I read the reviews for American Water treatment (I always look at current reviews) and seen they have A rating and great reviews. I called their office and spoke with a woman on the phone ( sorry I forget her name) and explained my problem to her. She said, " we might have a salt block and we should boil a couple of gallons of water and pour it into our salt and mix up the salt to see if the water would release the block, if that doesn't work let us know we will come out and take a look at it". Free advise from a small company when they could of come out and charged me a service call. Holy cow, I was so impressed! That's just not what a service company does anymore. I waited over the weekend to see if our water softener would come on and it didn't so I knew it was more then a salt block. Being that they gave me free advise and tried to help me without costing me a penny of course I called them back. I called their office on Monday Oct. 27th made an appointment for today Oct.28th between 10 and 11 am. Now here is some more good news.... Andrew was right on schedule! I didn't check the clock but I think he was here between 10:00 -10:30am. Don't hold Andrew to a set schedule as I know from being in the service field some jobs might take longer and they may not meet your schedule appointment time. Anyway back to Andrew, so professional and knows what he is talking about. Our system was 15 yrs old and was installed at the time the home was built so I already figure we would need a new system. Andrew looked at our system and told me the motor was out, he showed me where the problem was and all that it would take to fix it. If I replaced the motor they would have to replace the piston too which alone could cost $800.00. He also explained to me that the type of system we had was way to big for our 3200 sq, ft home and there was no need for two resin tanks. Our water was being cycled twice through 2 tanks. Oh yeah, When Andrew first saw that we had two tanks he thought one might be a carbon tank and one resin. When he checked he notice they were both resin tanks and showed me. While Andrew was explaining all this to me I asked him if I could video tape what he was saying as my husband was not home ( he was on a airplane) and he said yes. Andrew explained to me the type of systems they sale and what each one would cost and I choose the system that Andrew felted would be best for our home. Andrew replaced and installed the new system, cleaned up his mess even swept the cobwebs out of the corner. I then asked him if he could check my reversed osmosis system while he was here and he was more then happy to. He replaced three filters and told me by next year I would need to replace the membrane. Again, he could of said the membrane needed to be replaced and I would not have known any difference and charged me more money. Hats off for an honest technician! I support Mom & Pop business's and I'm so grateful for American Water treatment. I can honestly say I will use them again. They are already on my calendar for next service. Please if you read this long review call them, it's hard to find a honestly company in this town.

ANDREW, THE SERVICE REP WHO DID THE WORK, IS AN NICE, OUTSTANDING YOUNG MAN, HARD WORKING, PROMPT, KNOWLEDABLE, AND SOMEONE WHO GOES THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER PLEASED. WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH HIS SERVICE, AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

All repairs went great... tech was knowledgeable and efficient.

Andrew, a nice young gentleman, arrived right on time and replaced some old parts, solved the problem. Very happy with service.

John - our service tech - was friendly, informative, and helpful in also advising us what issues to expect and how to solve them in the future, if needed. We have had no issues, and the system is back in working order (after more than a year sitting idle...)

It was done professionally and on time. Installed same system in my girlfriend's house as well on the same day. Minor installation issue was corrected promptly when called.

The brine tank in the old unit was leaking (crack or pin-hole). Tech and I decided a new unit would be the best cure. He installed a new water-softener in about 1 hour. Unit has a 5-year guarantee. Total cost was $1300.

Randy B showed up promptly and spent about an hour showing me real time hardness comparison tests between my current water and my water put through a mini softener. I knew the water in Vegas was hard but this just proved it. I wanted a water softening system but would only be around for the next day. Randy and Theresa managed to get me an installation for the next day (Saturday) "after 2 pm". Sean showed up around 2 15 and by 5 pm I had the soft water I knew I wanted for my new house. Thanks to all involved for making it fast, painless, and professional.

Sean and his partner (name escapes me) were a little late, though I did receive a call indicating they would be, so no complaints there. They changed out the filters and membrane of our RO system, gave me a how-to so I can do it myself in the future, and even gave me a tool to remove the filter housing! Also checked the hardness of our water and adjusted the softener's hardness level for free. The price was reasonable, and they indicated the membrane as being the most expensive. They were here for about 20 minutes and got the job done. Both were very professional and courteous. I'd definitely use them again in the future!

I had set up an appointment with American Water Treatment back in December for a home i purchased that we would not be owners of until January. I found them on Angie's list and picked them as they were the best rated. I wanted to take advantage of any holiday sales they might be having. I called them back in January, before they were supposed to get back to me. We arranged to have a salesperson meet us at the house we had just taken possession of. The salesperson was on time and professional. While we had asked them to document the prices that were available for the holidays, we ended up purchasing their best water softener, as we plan to be in the house for a long time. We didn't give him much opportunity to 'sell' us anything, as we knew we wanted the best, and we just wanted the price. I think we took him a bit by surprise, but he did just give us the cost for their top line system, RainSoft. We also wanted a reverse osmosis system, which was included in the price. In addition to the softener and RO, we told them that we also were planning to buy a new kitchen sink and an instant hot water system. While they do not sell instant hot water systems, we had one picked out and were planning to purchase it separately. We were very pleased that they were very willing to come back (the RO was on back order) and would install the hot water unit when they returned to install the RO. Great! They had an appointment available the next day to install the water softener. The installer was on time (toward the end of the hour window they promised) and did a great job of installing the softener. He was very clear about the programming instructions, provided us with the instruction packets, and did an inspection of the kitchen sink, as he will be the one coming back to install the RO and the hot water system. He was very professional and courteous, even though it was after 6pm on Saturday when he finished, the end of a very long day for him. I would highly recommend this vendor. Update: During the installation of the water softener, the carbon column (a separate tank from the brine tank) is usually rinsed. This was done on our system, but due to the very high water pressure at our home (we had a malfunctioning pressure reducing valve), there was a significant amount of carbon media blown out a vent line. It was dark at the time of the install, and we did not see the amount of carbon that was on the street (in the gutter) until a few days later (we were not yet living in the home). To our untrained eyes, the amount of carbon was considerable (on the order of a cubic foot). It took awhile to clean up the mess in the gutter, but we did not want to anger our new neighbors. We took pictures of the mess, and sent in to AWT, asking that the carbon column be 'topped off' when the installer returned to install the Reverse Osmosis unit. They did not gave us an hassle at all, and said they would take care of the issue. The installer did bring extra carbon media, and filled the column when he came back. The RO was installed several weeks later, and the instant hot water system was installed, as promised, even though this is not normally part of their services. All was done professionally with no issues.
