He did a great job!

I woke up to discover the main spring on my garage door had snapped and I was unable to even lift the garage door by hand to get my car out. I called a few different companie on Angies List and got various prices. I called American Garage Dooor and spoke to A.J. He was very professional on the phone and understood my issue with my garage door. He gave me a very reasonable price, lower than most actually. He came over at the time we discussed after calling me first to let me now he was on his way. He handled the issue in about 20 minutes. He replaced my big broken spring with two smaller ones which will let me open the garage manually if it happens again. He also warranteed his parts and labor for a year. I am very very happy with his service and highly recommend his company to anyone needing service on their garage door. Thanks A.J. for not trying to gouge me in a desperate situation. Very refreshing to find an honest and reasonable contractor!

They are outstanding. Their service was fantastic all the way around. They told me that there were parts that did not need to be replaced which set in my mind. The young man that fixed it said that there were parts that I didn't have to worry about because they didn't need to be replaced but there are some companies that will tell we need all the parts to be replaced. They were very straightforward and honest. He also told me how I can extend the life of some parts just by spraying WD40 on them. Their price was better than the other two that I called. The other two companies I called wanted to charge me an on site inspection but they just came, looked at it and told me what it cost.

They were friendly, fast, and efficient.

AJ repaired the panels and fixed the springs and made the automatic door work perfectly. He did this and charged $200.00! He not only is talented, he is absolutely the most honest person that I have met since moving to Las Vegas! He deserves a special award all of his own!

I called and told them there was a crack in the door and i think it was getting bigger. He said he could but a bar for more support. he did and the problem is over

He was here a half hour after I called. He finished it within a half hour. It's worked fine since then. I've been very happy with him. Everything was great.

. Service man was prompt. He diagnosed the problem immediately and gave me a quick estimate which surprised me with it's reasonableness. He also said the repair would be completed within an hour and he did a great job in about 1/2 that time. He also explained how it happened and how his repair would prevent a similar problem in the future. Very good

AJ came over the same day I called. He put the wheel back in it's track and tuned up the door. Everything went very smoothly and he completed the work in less than an hour.

I contacted AJ this morning and he arranged to meet me over the lunch hour (convenient so I didn't have to take time off work). The problems were very minor, but AJ took the time to make sure everything was working right. He even swept some cobwebs off the bottom of the doors. He was very professional and very pleasant.

Had a problem with my garage door making loud popping noise, and upon inspection, I determined that it was a busted hinge. Called American Garage Door repair and they came out the next day. He exceeded my expectation, and my garage door and opener sensors are better than new. I would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

i called american garage door on tuesday oct 3rd 2011 which is the day i joined angies list. I spoke to aj and he gave me a price of169.00 to replace the springs on both sides of the door.He called me up and asked if it was ok to come over early .I said it was ok and he came right on time.As soon as he saw it was the small garage door he had to fix he said the price was 139 not 169.We need more honest people like aj in las vegas.He did the job in about one half hour and programed my car to open the garage door.He also adjusted the sensor on my other door.He was very professional and did an excellent job.

I called the owner, Andre, about 9:30 AM. He gave me an estimate to replace the springs on the two car garage door. Only one was broken, but Andre said they only replace them in sets of 2 as they always fail close to each other over time. We set a time of 3 PM and Andre arrived early, after calling to be sure i'd be home. Andre is friendly and personable. He knows his work. I complained of my door sagging in the center, causing the door to get stuck on opening sometimes. He installed a brace on the door that fixed that problem. He completed all the work in little more than half an hour. I am fully satisfied with his work and would use him again, or recommend him to a friend.

AJ was very knowledgeable, efficient and very nice too. He came back to remove a keyless entry panel the next day at no charge. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I called this company and they said they would be here the next day to give me an estimate on my garage door. It wouldn't open or close. The man came when he said he would, gave me an estimate of $69, and fixed it for that exact amount. Everyone had told me it would probably cost $300, so I was very happy.

They were very competent and did their best. They explained to me that there were three different types of garage door openers-one is with a chain system which is least expensive and the second one is like a screw driver with a long bolt and the most expensive one is a belt. He explained all this to me. They came back and even put a spring to the door after 2 years. I would like to use them in future, most probably within the next 6 months to install a new system for our garage door.

He gave me a price over the phone, came the same day. When he got here he told me that the brace could be put in an easier place and the price would less because of this, This does't happen very often. He did a great professional job and I would and will call him again if needed.

The experience was fine. I have no major complaints other than having to accommodate his schedule over mine.

A.J. handled everything, from the initial phone call to the installation. He was very informative, polite and easy to deal with. Arrangements were made for installation on the very next day! A.J. was prompt, called before he showed up, was very professional and polite to my wife who was at the home alone. Total job time was only a little over an hour. All work was done satisfactorily, with quality parts and satisfied customers.

I was very happy with the service. They were professional and they did a great job. The door works great now. I have absolutely no complaints about them at all. I would recommend them.

American Garage Door Company was able to schedule an appointment with me in a couple of days after I called them. They did a good job of replacing our opener. We haven't had any problems with it at all. The price charged was for the opener and the installation was great.
