When he came out it was a phenomenal experience. He helped me pick colors and that was a very frustrating experience for me usually but he was patient and hung with me until I was comfortable with my choices. the painters showed up punctual, very nice and did a fabulous job. The cut in work was beautifully done. Plus the poor painters had to work around the movers and they were so nice and flexible during the entire process. I would love to use them again when I have time to focus on the bathrooms and the bedrooms.

Things for the most part went very well. Mike Holden gave us the estimate and was very helpful in color selection and even had a designer from Sherwin Williams come out to help, no charge. The workers and foreman arrived on the scheduled day to lay out the job and go over all color selections. Two men painted the whole house and worked very diligently. They were here for 3 1/2 days. Before any painting was done they taped and covered all furniture and blocked off areas that were not to be painted that day. Each night before leaving they took down all the plastic, etc and told us if we found any areas that needed touch up would be taken care of the next day. They worked from approximately 830 am to 7pm for three days. A word of caution - if you can not deal with inconvenience for a few days then I would recommend not painting the whole interior at once. We were prepared for some inconvenience and hiccups along the way because of the size of the job and the amount of furniture, etc that had to be moved. We were responsible for moving all loose items (citmes of counters,removing items from moveable cabinets, etc), the workers moved and replaced all furniture etc at the end of each day. We were very pleased with Five Star painting and would have them again without reservation and I do not say this lightly because my wife and I can be extremely picky. A great job well done at a reasonable price.

He came out and gave an estimate. He came to paint and the following day came to finish the job. He cleaned up well and did not leave a mess behind. He was very professional. I am really satisfied with the service.

The worker were prompt, efficient, courteous, and very neat. The job they did was outstanding. The salesman that came was the most professional of anyone that came to give us prices.

Actually, we had some pretty major issues with them. They were supposed to tear down all the wallpaper before and they tore down some of it. When we were not here they decided to paint over the top of it. Then we came in and we noticed what they had done. There was whole sections that were healing off the wall and so we told them. We told the supervisor and he made them come back and redo it. At that point we couldn’t get the wall paper up and we just had to reseal all the walls. There are still spots that had patching up. The supervisor was awesome in trying to get them do it. We wouldn’t use the subcontractors they had. The supervisor tried to make it right. The supervisor’s responsiveness was good. The supervisor was good but the workers were bad. We would not use them again.

Five Star was prompt and gave a great quote for all the painting that was done. Overall they did a fantastic job and would recommend them to friends and family. The painters need to acknowledge the customer more when approached on concerns. Other than that the overall job was very professional with no regrets. The rooms all look fantastic, no mess what so ever and love the way everything turned out. Thank you so much for coming on such short notice too, we so appreciate it. The estimator was on time and he was professional. The work was done 3 days later. The painters were timely, efficient and speedy. No complaints, I would use them again.

Showed up on time and reviewed paint colors with me to make sure where everything was going. I was overwhelmed with picking paint for our entire 2200sqft house so I asked for their opinions which they happily gave and helped me feel more comfortable with what I picked. We hadn't moved into the house yet, and they were going to be painting for three days, so instead of having to drive from our temporary apartment every morning to let them in, I gave them a key. I asked the guy in charge, Jeremiah, to just shoot me a text every day when they were leaving the house for the day, which he did. The house came out better than I expected. One guy, Sonny, painted the whole house himself and he did an excellent job. We have very high ceilings, about 17ft, and every inch was done beautifully. He didn't leave a mess, he taped everything off so nothing that shouldn't have been painted was ruined. Overall, I am very happy with the paint job and it was well worth the money spent.

Called back right away and showed up on time for estaminet. A little slow getting invoice via e-mail. Sonny is the best painted ever. Very professional, excellent work. The house looks and feels wonderful.

It went very well. The guy that came out to paint was very good and friendly, worked very quickly but did great work. I received a lower estimate from someone else but they matched it.

Things got off to a bumpy start when the salesman quit while I was in the estimate phase. The process dragged out about 2 extra weeks, but the owner came in and pulled it back together. A couple of days before the paint job, the house was pressured washed. The day of the job, a large crew of painters arrived. All very pleasant and worked together as if they had done this many times before. They painted my 2 story 2800 sq. ft. house in one day! The following day I made a list of missed spots and touch ups. A painter arrived and went through the list with me and everything was done. In the end, an Excellent job, fast work (other painters were saying 3 to 5 days). Price was excellent.

Mike came out and gave me an estimate. He was wonderful; helping me pick the right colors and suggesting accent walls. The painters started 3 days later and completed the job in less than 2 days. They were very professional and courteous and my house looks great. Not a drop of paint where it shouldn't be. I have already received numerous compliments. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends!

We found them on Angie's List. The quoter came in, all nice and good and he was just saying the things right and so he quoted us for two coats of paint and he will help us pick the paint, the colors and everything. We went with him and he was kind of concerned on the colors because of how our house is and everything. They brought in a designer to pick out the colors and what they paid for that, I have no idea. He said that they would pay them separately. That was all fine and dandy and that was a good experience up until when the painters came. When the painters came, they said the job was contracted out. Five Star Painting paid for another company to come which I was kind of hesitant about but I said if they are through Angie's List then they may have a good relationship with this painting company and it is going to be fine so the job foreman came in and helped one painter. All in all what happened was that only that one guy did the job for two and a half days. There should have been two painters on the job and ultimately they only did one coat of paint throughout the whole job for that two and a half days but if there were two painters there, they could have done two coats of paint. At the end when they wanted the payment, I talked to the estimator and I told them they only did one coat. He said he would give me three hundred dollars off. I wrote the cheque. I went to the company and I wrote them my letter as far as how to resolve the conflict and everything and it ultimately came to the point where if they would have quoted me for one coat of paint on top of that three hundred dollars I did not pay, they would give me another refund of one hundred fifty so it was four hundred fifty dollars less for one coat versus two coats. I do not know how to feel about it because the very beginning was fine but then the tail-end of it was difficult. I am happy with the job but I am not happy with the process and I just want an easy process. My email was an additional four hundred dollars back or for them to come back and paint the second coat for the three hundred dollars they refunded. The response from them was they usually do one coat for repaint which was kind of contradicting what I was quoted. When the estimator was on the phone, that was when I made a complaint about the one coat, that the job was being rushed. Basically, they came in the third day just to finish up all the work and that was when he offered the three hundred dollars. That was when I sent my email to ask the company more appropriately and that was the response I got.

Excellent customer service provided by Mike Holden during estimate and follow up. The work performed by the sub-contractor was also of first class quality. The sub-contractor even came back the next day to remedy some minor issues discovered after one phone call. A+ quality overall.

I was in a panic, as my recently purchased home was in need of a complete interior paint job prior to carpet laying and move in deadlines. My previous painters had left and had not performed the work and I needed someone quickly. Five Star answered my call in a matter of minutes, sent someone to my home for an estimate and started the work the next day. They were courteous, on time and kept things clean as they worked. Finished early! Amazing! It came out beautifully....and they were so easy to work with. Prices were a little higher as it did not include the paint which is additional, but the job was done right and I couldn't beat the way they worked so efficiently to complete the work on time. It was worth every penny! The owner was so polite and accommodating as well. Thanks guys! Love the way you made my home glow.

It was excellent. Five Star Painting were helpful, good people. Good company and I enjoyed it. It is a brand new house and they didn't drop a speck of paint. They did a really good job. The guy was kind enough to let me use his company code so I got cheaper paint. They were nice and conscientious. The foreman came out and checked the work as it was going on and guaranteed the work.

At first, it was difficult to schedule a time for the estimate. The technician sent out to perform the estimate showed up a day earlier than the scheduled date without calling. After this incident, they became difficult to contact. Eventually, they had to come back to remeasure. However, once they showed up, the work was performed in a professional manner. They sent one painter who meticulously covered all the furniture and flooring. As a result, not one drop of paint got on anything. The final result was absolutely beautiful.

They were on time and did a beautiful job. I was supposed to remove all wall hangings prior to their arrival, but there were a couple that were too heavy for me to move. They moved the big paintings for me. There was also some minor patch work to be done to cover nail holes for items that I was not going to hang back up. The work was perfect. They cleaned up afterward. Absolutely flawless job!

I used an Angie's Special deal and added on to that. The charge on top of the Angie's deal was very reasonable and the service was excellent. The crew was on time, incredibly efficient and very professional. We moved all the furniture, removed all the stuff from the walls and purchased the paint. They were in and out in a day and a half! I was amazed by the quality (I had my doubts given the price) - it was great! And they left the house clean as a whistle! I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing their home painted.

I found someone who could do it for a heck of a lot less. It?s not a big job but they spray the paint on so they would have to tape and cover everything. He came on time, he measured everything, and he knew what he was doing, but I just refuse to pay that kind of money.
