Tim was professional and polite. Our wooden table and 4 chairs were beautifully refinished in the manner we desired. Tim kept us apprised of the work he was doing by sending us texts and photos. We would hire him again in the future.

Tim did a great job converting bar height stools to counter height stools. He was efficient and very easy to deal with. They came out great-very even and smooth. Not an easy thing to get right. I recommend Tim fully for your carpentry needs.

I dropped off my mothers cedar wood hope chest that was left to her by her late grandmother and after revealing the beautiful veneer underneath the paint, Alexander got EXCITED to finish this for me! He did it in one day! Gorgeous work aand in time for Christmas. My mother was beyond shocked and said this is the greatest gift she has ever received! Really made Christmas this year!

Tim did an excellent job in repairing two dining wood chairs made of dark brown walnut (made overseas) that needed the leg joints on both and a seat on one chair to be completely taken apart, glued and pressure clamped back together to hold. He removed scratches from the chairs and also removed scratches on the wood dining table at no extra cost Tim did a professional job and also answered all my questions on wood care for my other wood furniture. He completed my chair repair at a reasonable price, came right at scheduled time and did all the work at my home. Tim is very knowledgeable and experienced in wood repair as evidenced by the finished product. I would highly recommend Tim for all your wood furniture and other wood repair items in your residence.

My Black Walnut dining room set was damaged during transit from the East Coast. I was having difficulty getting someone to look at the damage. Tim responded the same day I left a message. He came to my home to actually examine the furniture and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He did an outstanding job of repairing the table and chairs. I am extremely pleased with the results!

Alexanderâ s went beyond their primary project as we had someone else repair a kitchen cabinet which was poorly done. He took the initiative and redressed the blotched cabinet. Alexanderâ s Custom Refinishing salvaged an antique secretary table from 18th century which I had basically destined for the trash. Another company tried to fix it and thoroughly ruined it. Now it shines with the original beauty!! The extensive and elaborate inlay is now perfect and decorative bronze trim was cleaned without destroying patina!! Highly recommend Alexanderâ s !!!

We recently built a brand new house. We had some leftover very expensive quartzite material. Tim handcrafted 4 custom furniture tables with teakwood and this quartzite. My Wife and I are super pleased with Timâ s final masterpieces.

Tim refinished an antique dresser that has been in my family for quite some time. We didnâ t want to part with it so we reached out to Tim and he really worked some magic on it. The family is happy to be able to keep our dresser going into the next generations. Aboslutely great work!

I had a small flaw on the surface of my Tommy Bahama dresser when I hired Tim Alexander to fix it. He stripped my entire dresser and redid it in a finish that does not match the rest of the set as it is tacky, the trim was done with a sharpie marker and was too narrow, and the dresser smells of varnish. This was the final redo after the first attempt to fix my dresser where it was returned with additional marks all over, smudges in the finish, tacky finish, the wrong sheen, and irregularities all over along with rope marks from his delivery. Tim said he would pay me half of the cost of my purchase of a new one., so I ordered a new dresser and sent him my invoice, but he has avoided my calls and denied that he would pay anything when I finally reached him after 21/2 months. It appears that he has no intention of taking responsibility for ruining my dresser and has blamed his work and complained about his health and has threatened me.
