Description of Work: I thought he would check to see if sprinklers were working but didn't. Wasn't home but husband was. Was told all he did was walk around the yard and said it was fine and tried to have us buy a service for landscaping.

Description of Work: Paid for a sprinkler tune-up and to have any leaks fixed. Not sure about quality of tune-up since I now have puddles of water in some flower beds where I didn't before. Still had leak next day after paying additional approx. $80. They did come out again and fix.

Description of Work: Added a drip line and checked existing drip line. They did the work but quality was not the best.

Description of Work: Paid for service on 7/31, with three prospective service dates. Received email via Angie's List proposing alternative dates. Responded by email picking a date. No show and no other contact from company. Called phone # multiple times, leaving messages with my phone #, but no call-backs.

Description of Work: Did a repair that I requested and I can't complain about that other than it may have been a little pricey. When I asked about the $39 special I got a mumbled response and I can't see that any sprinkler adjustment was done. Seemed more interested in full landscaping (admittedly my yard needs it) than sprinkler repair.

Description of Work: The initial visit to have the outdoor lighting installed we found that we needed an outdoor outlet. Once installed the installation was scheduled and completed quickly. The lights look great.

Description of Work: It was difficult setting up a time for the in person appointment but finally got a date set up. They came and did a good job laying the pavers but were careless in cleaning up, dumping dirt and rocks on the sprinklers in my flower beds. Also they did not complete a line of rock requested. I waited for them to return and finally called and complained. They came & finished the wall, uncovered the sprinkler heads but left the debris.

Description of Work: two technicians arrived at the scheduled time. Only one of them understood and spoke limited English. They were to set the timer for the sprinkler system, but neither one of them knew how to do that. Some sprinkler heads needed replacement and they charged an extra $90.00 to do that. Some of their heads did not work and they stated they would return to finish the following Monday and we have not seen or heard anything from them since they left.

Description of Work: We signed up for a $39 evaluation (with a design and a proposal). After conferring with Fernando, we decided to go with his company. He had great suggestions that made our ideas even better. We had a paver side driveway installed, and they tore out our huge dirt yard and replaced it with two colors of decomposited granite. They also installed some plants, installed drip lines, and fixed the existing sprinklers. The workers were very prompt and friendly. I would definitely recommend Alco Landscaping. Our front yard went from worst to first in our neighborhood in a few short days!

Description of Work: It has been two months, and I'm still waiting for work to start. Alco came out in June gave estimate and time. Called back to say the color of rock was out of stock: called July they said still not in stock, will call when it comes in. I am holding off on whether to give them an overall grade. I know the coupon I purchased expires in NOV, just hoping I don't get burned.

For 6/26 through Angie's list messaging, they never showed or even called me to explain or reschedule, even though I gave them my phone #. They also did not answer the phone that day, and I was unable to leave a voice mail.I sent them a message through Angie's list that day, expressing my dismay but I still have not received a phone call or a response to my message on Angie's list.

Description of Work: I purchased a two hour yard cleanup. They (one worker) cleaned up my small yard in under two hours, checked with me and left. Yard looked clean. Would have given an "A" but they didn't do things like put the garden hose on the holder, even though they had time left to do so. B+

Description of Work: Before they start putting the paver they dig the ground and remove the dirt cut the old sprinkler.then they start putting the rocksand level it using the power compactor.then the stone paver untill finish it.then they removed the stump it's included in our contract.but after they left i have a problem with paver there's water coming out under the pavers.they think the sprinkler are not working thatswhy they did not put plug on pipe |By the timers went on the water comes out under the pavers.then i called the contractor guy rigthaway and told him the problem.he responed he is busy that day.then he came to me the nextday he just disconect the wire of the water timer.then he said they are going to fix the problem on 06-26-15 at 4:30pm friday. |They came to my house and fixed the problem. |l almost call the angieslist if they didn't fixed the problem.but his a nice guy. |Thank you. | | | |

Description of Work: Although they arrived on time and the one man who took care of my yard was hard working, the overall experience was negative. When the landscapers arrived I showed them the back yard and told them what I need done,most importantly was having a tree pruned. I was told that there was"no problem". I requested that the tree be done first and then have them remove the weeds. I was told it was better to weed first and then prune the tree but the tree would be pruned. One of workers left leaving one man to do the work. About 30 minutes later, a supervisor showed up to look at the job when I mentioned the work I wanted done on the tree he told me they could not to it because of"safety reasons". I pointed it out to him that his representative had already told me tree was"no problem" at that point he agreed to prune the tree. He also informed me that it was my responsibility to discard the weeds and tree limbs. If I wanted them to do it I would have to pay and additional fee. He quoted a price of $30.00 but agreed to do it for $25.00. If I wanted them to service my backyard every month it would cost me half of what they charged me for 4 hours. The man who did the work was hard working and did a good job on the weed removal but and unsatisfactory job on the tree. I tried to explain and show him what needed to be done but he spoke very little english and I don't speak spanish. When my four hours was up the landscapers was pick up and they left without saying a word the work wad not reviewed with me and the supervisor to see if I was satisfied or if the job was done correctly. I found them to be unprofessional and would not use them again.
