Sprinklers inspection went well, but days of watering were mis-programmed. This was possibly confusion on which days were yes and which were no. I feel the serviceman's skills in understanding English wee lacking.

Everything was perfect. They even did a couple extra projects like digging and lowering an irrigation pipe and setting pavers in the gravel at no charge. Absolutely 5 Stars!!

He was right on time and moved an irrigation unit.

Fernando and his workers are always professional and courteous to me and my property. After buying the Angie's List Deals, I was promptly scheduled for a site visit by Fernando to assess the work to be done and discuss additional charges in advance. Fernando determined that I would need a total of 6 tons of river rock to complete my job. The additional cost for the river rock was $420. He also informed me that my irrigation leak could cost between $100-$400. By the way, my water bill has been at least $100 over from last year based on leaks that I have been chasing. He assessed site on Friday 8/22 and work was done on 8/25. On 8/25, Alco's worker arrived promptly at 7:00am to start work on irrigation. He spoke enough English to communicate with me about the job. He worked quickly and efficiently. He directed the rock delivery truck where to deliver the rocks when they arrived. Once he finished irrigation work, he started moving rock and placing them in piles around the yard. He was very careful not to damage my newly planted shrubs as well. He moved 6 tons of rock and spread them neatly in about three hours. From start to finish, the job took about four hours. I was impressed by how hard his employee worked and kept me informed throughout the job. I always take time to read the fine print and was not surprised by any of the uncharges. This is the second time I have hired Alco through an Angie's List Deal and would not hesitate to hire them again. I do not believe that they deserve the low ratings some customers have given them.

1 didn't speak English other limited. Sprinkler wasnt really adjusted. Some turned too high others had to turn up went wrong way. After left found out had to readjust. Being seniors way too hard. Still not right

They performed the sprinkler tune up, but found some broken lines. I asked for a quote for them to fix them, but the contractor never got back to me about it.

I needed someone to check my sprinklers. they missed 2 leaks, didn't tell me anything about water pressure, it took forever to make the appointment, they lack organization.... I could go on and on. I'm sorry but I can't recommend them and neither will I hire them again.

Fixed the problem that I was having and set my system to the correct watering schedule. Unfortunately I was not present when the work was completed and was not notified by the company that the work was done or what was done to fix the problem. But in the end, everything is work as it should.

I had some small work done at the beginning of the year (found on Angie's List) and I had them back again today to completely replace my irrigation front and back and update my landscape lighting. They did a fantastic job! They came when they said they would, completed the work, made great suggestions and left the yard in perfect shape. The price paid was the quoted price. I wholeheartedly recommend these guys. They are reasonable and very professional.

When checking the system, Gabriel noticed that water was not flowing to the plants in the front of the house. In fact, the mesquite tree was brown. Quickly, he assessed the problem, and told me the price. He was able to finish the job quickly, but as the water was still not flowing, he told me that he would return the next business day to determine why. When he returned, he found that roots had grown in the tubing. He fixed that. During the entire time, he was very professional. I will need work done later in the season, and I will definitely call them.

Adjusted front and back sprinkler system and made repairs needed.

They didn't do any work- simply turned on the system...and verified that there were multiple small issues (broken/missing drop heads) and low pressure on one section. They just tried to sell me a way over priced replacement of a whole section...but literally did nothing to 'Tune-up the system ' as advertised

Great. The work didn't take them long, but it will forever be appreciated. No other sprinkler repair guys over the years solved the problem. Alco's guys did.

Excellent...more than I wanted to pay, but there was a lot of work that needed to be done.

The folks from Alco arrived late in the "window" of time they had provided, but they were within the scheduled time. We had purchased a discounted "tune up" that included up to six stations, and knew that our 21 station system would cost more that the original fee. They checked the system thoroughly, found three major leaks in supply lines that they repaired, and repaired or recalibrated several of the stations/irrigation heads. The total cost was about $440 (which included the original $39 fee and an additional cost for paying by credit card), but the system works extremely well. Fernando and his crew were polite, professional, worked quickly but carefully, and explained at every step of the process.

I thought it went well until my bushes began to die. Lost a few. Should have checked them all before letting the man go but he acted in a hurry. My bad.

A Non-professional company. It actually took over 30 days to give me ½ the plans for a landscaping job consisting of front and back yards. This was a $39 Deal that could have led to a decent size job for them. But this isn't about the money; it's about the fact that I felt completely disrespected by this unprofessional company. There was no follow-up, no concern of anything. One can only assume that their doing so well they don’t need Angie’s list, or my business.

More than I wanted to pay, but extensive repairs were necessary. Miguel and his partner did an excellent job and I was pleased with their work. I would recommend Alco if you need sprinkler/irrigation services.

Wonderful, arrived on time, got the work done and cleaned up after the digging and repair. I am very pleased and would highly recommend this firm. They will be doing all my sprinkler and any other landscaping needs I have.

On June 6, 2017, Fernando, an Alco representative, came over to our house to check what we wanted for our backyard (which was our intended landscape project). After asking me and my husband some questions of what we wanted, he measured the planned area and said, he'll send us his estimate in 3 to 4days Seven days went by, we didn't hear anything from him. On the 8th day, I called the Alco's phone number and a female voice answered. I told her that I want to talk to the owner. She told me that Fernando and Patricia are the owners, that she'll relay my message. Fernando called that same morning and I asked him "why we haven't received our plan up to this time. It's been 8 days past already since you came over to our house". His reason was that he has been busy. Then, he said, "I'll email it this afternoon". That afternoon went by, another day and another day, but we never received any email or any form of communication from this Fernando, NOTHING!! I became very upset with Fernando's treatment with us. That's when I decided to call Angie's List with this terrible experience we got from this DEAL. With what he did to us, do you think he deserves to be in the list of a reputable company like Angie's List?
