Man who came out tried to charge me an extra $50.00 to replace one cap on a sprinkler; I ended paying him $30.00 more (cash) on top of the Special that I originally purchased. He seemed very dishonest and I would never do business with Alco Landscape again. The Company should screen the people they hire more carefully!!!

Very well, we needed more rock than was offered in the deal we purchased through Angie's list, so the cost was more. We were out of town for the summer, but Alco came and finished the project, then called and emailed me to let me know the job had been completed

No one called nor came to help me. I had set up the 3 possible times they could come, but that was neither confirmed or rejected by them.

Very well. Representative showed up as scheduled, took measurements, listened carefully to what I wanted, made suggestions and will return with a plan for full review.

I purchased this deal on August 15, and it has been an entire week with no communication from the provider. I requested a refund from Angie's List.

The owner jotted a few notes, took no measurements and left. He never came back and made no attempt to contact me. I called the company numerous times and sent emails. After I sent a formal request through Groupon, somone called me saying I had to send the plat map. I did. After more attempts to contact the business I was told they needed another map. I have a long email trail with excuses or no responses. I don't mind that they took the money. I mind that they didn't want to do any work at all and wasted my time.

Alco found two cacti that have not received water for who knows how long. Alco also put a water lines up to take care of two plants not receiving water. They never charged us extra for the supplies. We highly recommend them for your landscape.

Did a great job. Cleaned up the back yard and installed 4 tons of river rock.

Their responsive and their professionalism is an F. I got a first response form them and now they don’t respond. They only charge $49 to do the landscape design and they gave me a bid and you’d think they would want to answer my call regarding the bid to came back and do the work. I have left a half of dozen message and they haven’t got back to me. I have to find another vendor now because they are not available.

They were a no show for the initial appointment. I was called the next day (Sunday) and the person was rude, hard to understand and hung up on me when I said I called Angie's list for a refund of my $749.00 which I have yet to see. My emails to Angie's list and phone call for the refund are not being honored.

The tech was very polite. He found the problem pretty quickly. Tree roots punctured the PVC pipe. Dug up the pipe, making the repair on the spot.

They did an excellent job and I was very pleased with the results. The best thing that I really liked is that he picked out the perfect combination of design and colors for me. Also, he was very nice and easy going person to work with.

No adjustments were done and the individual who was here only seemed to be interested in removing the existing system and installing an entirely new underground sprinkler system.

Not well ... The person who came to our home only seemed interred in selling us a new underground sprinkler system.

The job was done quickly and very professionally done. I asked for a river bed to be installed and for rock to be replaced in various areas in my yard. They came up with a plan to add some new plants to the area and to re-arrange some large rocks. The end product was very well done.

Purchased outdoor design package from Alco Landscaping on 3/30. Received E-mail from company shortly thereafter asking me to call and set up a date for service. Called several times, always went to voice mail. I left voice mail on 4/8 asking for a return call. Never got the return call. I should not have to chase them to provide a service I paid for. I'm no longer interested.

They came out and I wasn't impressed with the drawing they gave me at all. I said I wanted lush landscaping, I want a retaining wall and I want to have some pots. The drawing had no retaining walls. He put in some shrubbery that you see on the side of the road not the lush stuff you put by a pool.He should have given me the drawing I asked for with the retaining walls and the lush landscaping. I was so disappointed I didn't even call them.

My project came on the heels of having some similar work done in another area of my yard by another contractor. The other work was done OK but lots of dropping the ball on details that were promised. Fernando at Alco was absolutely the greatest! This project was the same area of pavers but required extensive landscaping to change the slope to prevent water from coming into my foundation. We had a basic design in mind but Alco bettered it, put in drain tile and terraced it between the adjacent property which sits higher. And all for less money than the other company. My neighbor like their work so much she duplicated it next-door. They even planted a couple plants I hadn't gotten around to putting in the ground just as a courtesy. The crew was extremely friendly and conscientious. Looking for other projects so we can work with them again.

This was a big deal purchase. It was not good. I just did not feel that they gave us any good ideas. It just was not a good deal at all on this situation. I thought he was very poor about giving any information about what to do. He wasn't very informative. He came out to talk to us about it but did not perform any services. We hired him get some ideas. I felt that the service of coming out and trying to get us some ideas was very poor. Basically he just wanted to do more of the same thing we already had. I just thought it was a waste of our time and such. But it wasn't overly expensive. If it had been the right thing we would probably have had it done. Even after we arranged it we had to call and call. Finally he came out. I would think he could be more knowledgeable and could give you some more ideas on desert landscaping and such. You would think he would have some ideas on that. He gave us a price, but it was way too high. I did not even take it into consideration. When you call his place of business it was a very poor answering service to leave a message and whatever. When he finally said he was going to come out here, he came out here.

I don't remember exactly but I had them check the waterline and they said everything was okay but there was really a leak after I called another landscaper in to check on it.

It wasn't so good. They're hard to get a hold of.

Did not include more than half of the items that I wanted included in my landscape design. I asked for a fire pit area, nothing on the plan. I asked for artificial grass areas, none on plan. I asked for a seating area to put a concrete table on, none. I asked for a paver area with a lattice cover to put bbq on, the bbq was not on a paver area and the lattice cover was shown elsewhere on the plan. I asked for privacy plants on the north side of my property, none there. The drawing is not good and lacks any detail to get a conceptional idea of what it would look like finished.
