Also came back to repair a leak in the newly installed an attic unit. It was actually coming through my ceiling. They didn't repair properly the 1st trip out, so I had another leak several days later resulting in more ceiling damage. They refused to compensate me for the expense to repair-said it was not their fault. When I told them they were the only people up in my attack I was told "to prove it." Watch out for this bunch... I stand by my review-

Robert, came out and give me an est., called his boss and got amount confirmed and asked if they could do it asap. The installers were out within a hour of his phone call. Work was done and everything cleaned up by seven that evening and the house was cool by nine that evening. We were very help with the work and the people were great. A big thank you to Robert for being easy to work with and for getting people out in a timely manner to do all the work.

Chad offered a lot of help and things to ask potential contractors that I was unaware of. If I did not nave "Trane on my brain" I would have gone with these guys. Customer service goes a long way with me not just the price. After all what good is the warranty if you can't get a hold of the company.

, best... range of options. It was more of a custom fit for the situation. A year ago I dealt with Alaskan air before this visit. I had visited with three vendors. Alaskan air was several thousand dollars less and had name brand equipment with a better warranty. It was for my Parents in Sun City Summerlin. They completed the job quickly and were very good to my parents. Saving them approximately $2500 to $3000 over other AC Companies. I am a Business Professor at a local College here in Las Vegas for some 35 years. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism, friendliness, and value. Alaskan Air provided the highest quality at the lowest cost. I was grateful and called them again today. . I received excellent service and a very fair price. In addition.. AT ALL COSTS PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM YES as they take advantage of older people to the tune of $3000 to $6000 and exploit older peoples fears and health problems. Alaskan was outstanding at what they do, helpful and kind and they did follow up to make sure everything was right explaining in person to my parents how to reset the digital thermostat which was a bit confusing to them Nice...Effective...Efficient.. High Value...Friendly,....Most important High Quality and Caring. I can not say enough about this company. Please give them a chance to bid your AC or Heating Problem. You will be happy that you did.

Excellent service! Would give A+++++. Recently bought a 25 yr old house and knew I needed 2 new a/c units due to the home inspection. Also knew I needed 2 new furnaces,but was hoping to wait until the fall timeframe to buy that . Checked reviews on Angies and another website, and Alaskan came out highly recommended on both sites. Called to setup an appt and they arrived on time, were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They checked the 2 a/c units outside and the furnaces in the attic, taking pics and showing me everything. They also inspected the duct work in the attic and showed me where there was damage. We talked about the upper part of the house not cooling correctly, and they also inspected the returns and vents to ensure the correct sizes. They presented various quotes on the units and we also talked about the rebates for NVEnergy. It was a no brainer that I needed to have all replaced at the same time, due to the interconnectivity of the ducts. Signed the papers and they started within hours. Once they started to work in the attic, they found the ducts were originally positioned incorrectly, sending more air to a vaulted hallway than to a bathroom. One technician checked the ceiling vents and mentioned they should face the heat source, meaning towards the windows. Turned out there were 2 vents facing the wrong way, which were corrected. Took 2 days to complete with 3 guys working 8 hrs. They also threw in a duct-cleaning for the first floor duct work and an additional service plan. Can?t say enough good things about this company. Truly enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend them to everyone. Just an update 2 months into the summer: A/C bill has decreased by 60%!!!

AC blower was emitting funny noises the past two nights. I thought that the blower was starting to fail so I called to get it looked at and repaired if necessary. It was my first contact with this company. Phone contact was courteous. Follow up calls(3) were also ok but had to give the same information each time. Justin, the serviceman, was final contact who responded courteously and within the time frame he projected (2 hours later). He was prepared to use shoe protectors to avoid soiling my carpet which was greatly appreciated as we do Hawaiian style at home(barefoot-no slippers). He got right down to business after listening to my description. As is the case "according to the law of physics", the AC blower functioned perfectly. The loud vibrations were not present. He opened up the blower compartment and physically checked the blower, All was ok with no indications of any problems. Ran it for about 15 minutes after which he concluded that it was functioning properly. What to do? He put it altogether again. He had to charge the service charge of $80(senior discount) which I was happy to pay as it gave me peace of mind that the AC was ok. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality and integrity of service provided. I will definitely contact them again if necessary. Service person's name was Justin who made me feel comfortable while doing his thing.

Everything went smooth on the day of installation, however a few days later the air conditioning wasn't working. Called them up and they came out the same day (late in the evening) and fixed it without a problem.

He was very honest, kind and reliable. He made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire experience.

Have used this company a few times - always show up on time and do a professional job for a fair price without giving us a run around - something that is VERY hard to find in any line of business in Las Vegas. Highly recommended.

I started getting quotes for a new HVAC and Alaskan was the last quote to get. Chris came out explained everything in great detail. He explained the higher seer ratings and the lower seer ratings. After hearing what he put in his home we went made our decision and they came out and installed the very next day. We are super happy with Alaskan and won't use anyone else. It went very well. I had no complaints. They were very friendly and very professional. They weren’t pushy. They didn’t fast talk me to buying a new unit or anything like that. If I didn’t like them, I wouldn’t have bought a new unit from them. The price was reasonable. Their price is in range with the other people I talked to. I would use them for the annual maintenance of the unit.

Came out to examine our apartment in the am and found a supply and return system that they couldn't properly connect their equipment to.

The contractor was running behind and arrived very late, the two workers seemed rushed to get the job done by the end of the day. They left my registers dirty in several rooms and did not replace all the screws.

Made multiple trips out to our home to understand what our needs were. This company came out on time and dates that we requested. Matched our AC/heater needs to our house size and lifestyle. The staff was very professional and helpful. We are happy with our AC/Heater choice and would recommend this company to others.

The performance of the AC was bad. So we called Alaskan for a cleaning But they found out that the coils are damaged. It was caused by a hail storm in 2012. We started a claim with the home insurance.

Chad from Alaskan did a great job. He helped us through the claim. He made pictures, wrote a report and also talked to he insurance company. Finally we got the AC paid (minus deductible). End of December Chad's team came to replace the AC. Everything was done very professional. From planning to realization. Chad cared for everything. Without Chad we never thought the poor performance of the AC was caused by the hail storm. And later we found out some of our neighbours bought a new one and paid it out of their one pocket. Thanks to Alaskan!! we have now a new AC for a little money.

The service was Excellent! The original job was performed on 12-10-2013. I was not happy with the original unit that was installed and informed the office. Chad and Chris came to my house and spoke with me, I informed that I was not happy with original unit and Chris himself installed another unit the next day. By far this is the best service I have ever had! Thank you Chris and Chad.

I purchased a new A/C unit from Alaskan Air some 4 years ago. Personal care they put into doing everything the correct way was impressive. I've since enrolled my house in their service agreement program and they recently came by to do the annual service check. The informed me of several cost saving improvements I can do. Fully aware that it was an upsell for additional service, but he was no pushy at all, I agreed to two of the options. I expect my service from them will continue to be outstanding, because if it's not I will advise everyone here and look for another reputable company

I got three different bids and Alaskan was not the most nor the least expensive. They were on time, clean, friendly and focused. I just got a good feeling from them right from the start and they delivered. From start to finish these guys were great. The price was more than fair and when they found one duct that had been ruptured, they re-sealed the leaks and fixed the problem with no additional cost. That alone saved me $400.00. They seemed quite knowledgeable and confident compared the the other contractors who bid. Do yourself a favor and call Alaskan first, the next time you have heating or air conditioning issues. Chris and Chad were very professional and worked well together. They had the air on within 30mins. They had what we needed on the truck and installed it. We are very happy and cool.

tech came out on time,went right to work, suggested a new ac unite at the price of 6,800.00.I`m not a shopper but I thought the estimate was high. Charged me 69.00 for the advice. My first call was to Lin-Air, Air Conditioning. They offered me a Maytag ac unite 12 year parts dependability guarantee 1 year labor for 5,500.00 less 200 for Angies list members. 1 phone call saved me 1,500.00 Thank You Angies List.

My air went out and a friend told me I needed a new compressor. I called Alaskan and within 2 hours Chad came out to discuss a new unit and when they could get it up and running. The price he gave me was very reasonable, the discount I got from Angie's list was great, and the unit was installed as quickly as possible. It was a pure pleasure dealing with Chad and his company. He gave me suggestions on what I should or should not get, working with me to get the best deal. I am quite impressed with Alaskan's service and professionalism. The humidifier install went without a hitch. I have been pleased. I wasn't happy at first, with the air conditioner installs, but when I called to complain, they came right out and did a great job fixing the problem we had. They have since changed some leadership and the improvement is noticeable.
