Alaskan Heating & Air Conditioning

Everything was installed and working by 4 pm. They sent a drywall person out a few days later to put the wood around the attic opening back and to make sure everything look good. The men who came out were very professional and put down plastic to protect the floors.

The installation went smoothly and the performance was ideal initially. I have had them out several times to resolve issues with the unit they put in and they have fixed everything that needed fixing. I now have them maintaining my other 2 units also. I like and trust the people they have working there.

Their staff is timely and professional. They make recommendations and answer all my questions honestly. I appreciate that!

It was determined that both AC's needed to be replaced. Alaskan came to the house the same day, removed the AC's and replaced them the same day. In order to get the old units out of the attic, they had to remove the trim in the ceiling. They had a sub-contractor come the next day and replace that as well. The work was seamless and very professional.

The technician was very cordial he was very tactful and very professional but when he said that my coils need to be cleaned I told him that was included so he called the office and they told him that would be extra I would not recommend this company for the advertisement that they put out because it does not do what it says it would do

The service guy was held up at his previous destination, but the company called and said he would be about 1 hour late or I could reschedule. I didn't want to reschedule. Service guy arrrived in less than 1 hour. He spent a fair amount of time checking out my heater. I have no clue if he really cleaned the furnace or not. He did show me a small part that should be replaced in the future. It was over $300.00 for the part. I didn't replace that part as the unit is working. The service guy was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will call them back in the future.

Chad came out (two times in fact) to answer questions that my wife and I had. We did have a lot of questions and he answered everyone with no problem. The workers showed up when they said they would and were very professional and courteous. I put down a "B" for price because the last AC I put in was 1976. Yes, the price has gone up since then!

Originally I received an AC/Heater tuneup for $49. Matt, who did an exceptional job in taking his time in checking everything and taking his time to speak with me, recommended that I clean the Air Ducts, as he showed picture of them to me and how dusty they were. He said most likely they have never been cleaned. I agreed and set up an appt for the following week. Sean then came over for the duct cleaning on the appointed day, (extremely punctual), and began his work. He was meticulous in making sure everything was set up. He was by himself and had to cover every single vent in the house, After about an hour and a half, he was joined by a couple of other techs (Jimmy and Joey) who helped him finish. They were just as professional and kept things extremely clean. Once the duct cleaning was done, Sean them came in and vaccumed. I commented to him that I think he left my home cleaner than it was when he came in. All in all, a very professional company, with great techs. I will be using them when summer comes closer to check my system again before the air conditioning has to start working. Highly recommended company.

Everything went great. Robert was punctual and friendly and informative. We had a problem with one side of our house not getting heat. He explained a couple of reasons that may be happening and fixed two of them. I also have to read up on my new thermostat operation manual. Thanks Robert

It was wonderful. Robert Hampton was the rep and he was able to give us the best price out of all of the bids and best warranty for labor and parts. They said they would be any competitors pricing.

Excellent service! Robert was the tech that came to my home. He was on time, clean cut, informed and professional. What else can I ask for? He was very personable and climbed into the attic to check out the units. He gave me a run down of potential future problems but indicated there was nothing that needed special attention immediately. What a relief! He also checked the ducts and recommended a cleaning which I had done by another company three years ago. He explained the difference between a proper cleaning (which involves a large vacuum and brushes inside the duct work) and the cleaning my home received (removing the vents and making it look like their cleaning!). All told, I only spent the fees for the Angie's List deal and feel confident that we're good to go for another year. Thank you, Alaskan, and I will be hiring them for future work based on this visit.

I just had Robert, the Alaskan technician, perform my annual furnace maintenance/checkup. As usual, he was punctual (calling ahead), on time, efficient, and had a good attitude. I have used Alaskan ever since I moved to Vegas from LA. I bought my new Trane AC/heater from them (after interviewing and getting quotes from 10+ HVAC contractors). I'm using them in a few days to do a furnace check on my condo unit (a York installed by ANOTHER HVAC contractor who never bothers to return calls any more). My experiences with Alaskan have been superb in customer service, technical work, price, and experience. A big thank you to Courtney, their scheduler, who is superb! I have asked Alaskan to get into the plumbing business because I need a reliable, trustworthy plumber!

Robert, the technician, was punctual, courteous, efficient, and professional in every way. He arrived on time, performed assessment and maintenance on York heater. Upon finishing, he made some suggestions about filters and general use. He cleaned up afterwards and gave me a written receipt. I would definitely use Alaskan (and Robert) again.

This was likely the most thorough inspection of my now 22-year-old furnace that I recall having experienced. The technician, Jobab, called me with 30-40 minutes advance notice on the day of service to let me know that he was coming. Jobab was not at all rushed and spent about one hour at my residence systematically going through everything on my semi-ancient furnace. He's also a pleasant person, easy to talk to. An unexpected problem with the furnace suddenly not functioning after having worked fine initially also was resolved satisfactorily. Since the time is inevitably coming to purchase some new HVAC equipment, I did get an estimate from Alaskan Air for doing so and will seriously be considering this company when the work needs to be done.

It was pretty good. It went smooth. The only thing is they charge me for Freon. They charged me $200 for the Freon. Other than that, it went really well.

I am from the east coast originally, where we had oil burners and in-window AC units. I am still relatively new to the heating/ cooling systems prevalent in Las Vegas. However, Robert took the time to explain my options. At no point did I feel pressured by any sales pitches. Instead, we discussed repairing vs replacing, options for replacing, and options for financing the system. It was approximately 2pm when we started this discussion. After I felt educated enough to make an informed decision, I decided to proceed with the purchase and installation of a new heating/cooling system. Being that it was already afternoon, I was prepared to set an installation date in my calendar for later in the month. Instead, Robert advised he had the materials available and a team of technicians could install the entire system the same day. The team quickly arrived to install the system and clean the air ducts. They were efficient and professional, and it was taken care of that afternoon/early evening. I was very pleased.

It was perfect! The phone rep, Shelby, was empathetic with a good sense of humor. (It was a 3digit day!). She arranged to get me help within 2 hours. She was sending Chris & assured me he was great at his job. Chris called me on his way, showed up on time & went to work. He did an entire tune-up, replaced a part (he showed me) then finished up. It was up & running like new. Please note: Chris cleaned up when he finished, including the area around the A/C unit!
