Affordable Tree Service

Excellent. I have worked with this service for over five years both professionally and privately. They arrived as promised with crew and promptly went to work. Debris was removed as it accumulated. The crew worked with me regarding any changes I may have requested. All work and clean up was completed in a timely fashion.

I thought that they were great. They came on time. They were efficient, quick and they cleaned up the mess afterwards. There were four guys that took down the tree. They did it in an hour and it was a big tree. They left in an hour later and two other guys came and ground the stump. Then cleaned the mess and they were out of there. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Their price was reasonable compared to other I had called. Their quality of work was great. I have no complaints with them at all. If I had any other work then I would use them again.

They did a fantastic job and I was pleased of the work they did.

I was going to use their service but what happened was I had another company called the Tree Amigos and the confusion with the tree amigos was that they arrived and they thought the person that was on site and (this is a house I am in the process of moving into). The Tree Amigos thought that they were talking to me when they were talking to somebody else and he said oh yeah go head we need to get done. So they started working and the guy called me and said there are some tree people here and I said they are not suppose to be there until Tuesday or Wednesday and I was thinking it was Affordable and it turned out it was the Tree Amigos. So anyway I called Affordable back and said I hate to tell you this but the job has already been done so I need to cancel out. They were very good but what they had done was been on site and had trimmed those palm trees probably about I'd say somewhere about 8 to 10 years ago. They are very responsive and friendly. They were very punctual as far as coming to get me the bid and they were right on time.

I have used them for 15 years and their prices are reasonable. They are an incredible company; I can't say enough about them. They are professional, prompt and know what they are doing. Everything is perfect when they leave. I will use them again in the future.

We were amazed by their performance removing a large branch that came down in our yard. Four men arrived right on time, and worked like a machine. The limb was cut down, cut up and put through the grinder within 30 minutes. We would recommend Affordable Tree Service, and will use them again.

They did an excellent job, an excellent take out, and clean up. They also did follow up to make sure we were satisfied.

Affordable arrived on time and quickly performed clean tree removal and left the yard clean. No evidence of tree removal debris.

Third time users of Affordable Tree Service. Thinned, trimed and shaped a 13 yr-old Mesquite and two 10 yr old Sumac's. They were "On time", pleasant, thorough and cleaned-up completely prior to leaving. Brandon completed the estimate and scheduled the service date. Isadoro and team completed the work flawlessly. On time/as scheduled. We will have them back!

They were fine. We had a major wind or rain storm in Las Vegas in the summer. I called them in the morning and they came out in the afternoon. They did the work the next day. They got me to call and I thought they were a little expensive. I didn’t feel like losing the tree in particular. I needed to get somebody in there to take care of it which they did. It’s grown now and the leaves are still green. The branches have grown a little bit more. They were professional. They didn’t take advantage of the situation. In other words, they were there when they said they would and they did the job the next day. They were timely and everything happened the way I wanted it to be done. I thought they were a little pricey. Their quality was good. I will probably use their services again in the future.

They said they would come between 11-1 pm so I came to meet them. They never showed up. What I found out later was that they actually showed up an hour earlier at 10 am. They did some trimming then. Because I didn't get to interact with them, they sort of trimmed a lot less of the trees than I had wanted them to. Once I got the bill and realized they had been out and they had actually trimmed a little, I called and said it really needed a lot more trimming. They had a few guys out the next day and they trimmed it back perfectly. They actually did come out the right time and I did get a chance to talk to them. They charged me $150 for the initial 8/3 trim, which I thought, was adequate. I don't know if they are going to charge me or not for the subsequent trim. When they arrived on time the second time and I got to talk to them, they did a swell job. The first time they had me waiting around for nothing. I didn't compare their price. I think the $150 was fair if they don't charge me additional for the second time. If they charge me again I think they will be overpriced. They were responsive once I issued the complaint and they came out the next day. I thought it was really unprofessional of them to come at the wrong time. The second time they were very accommodating and came on time in a very professional manner. I would probably hire them again.

They did exactly as asked and cleaned up after themselves.

They did an amazing job. They were very responsive, punctual and professional. I had 3 or 4 estimates and I feel comfortable with the grades that I gave them. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Update: I received an apology, which is more than most companies do, but I have already arranged for another service to come out; so I've changed their grades for responsiveness and professionalism .

It was a very prompt and reliable service. They were very trusting seeing as I am an out of town resident. They had no qualms with doing the work and sending me the bill. It was a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them. They did it in a timely manner. They were prompt on the day they said they would be there.

I called and wasn't able to leave a message. I got a return call within 30 minutes. The estimator came out within 1 day and gave me what I considered to be a very reasonable estimate given the size of the palm trees. The crew came out on the scheduled day, removed the trees, ground down the stumps and removed all the debris, leaving the area cleaner than before they started work. I will definitely use their services again.

They made this whole project very easy. From giving us a same-day estimate to completing the installation and answering irrigation questions they were very knowledgeable and helpful. This project would have taken me several days and they completed it all in about 3.5 hrs. They were definitely the best choice for this job.

I am beaming about the job done by Affordable Tree Service - because they are just that - AFFORDABLE. I had 4 quotes on this job since it was so high dollar. The other 3 quotes ranged from $3,700 - $5,300. ATS was half the price of the next cheapest. I was worried that maybe the service itself would not be high quality. I am happy to say I was wrong. The team of 3 guys spent 1.5 days on this job. They parked a wood chipper on the street for immediate disposal. One gentleman climbed the trees with a chain saw while the others took away the fallen pieces. The two smaller (30') trees were gone within an hour. The remaining tree (50', 3' diameter, 30 yr old tree) took another 6 hours to remove. The trees were located on my property fence between the pool and fence in a very restrictive area. The gentleman took major care not to drop pieces in my neighbors yard or on the fence itself. When dealing with the large tree, they would use a rope to guide falling branches to drop in a designated area. It really was amazing to watch them at work. The one-handed chain sawing on top of the tree was frightening and impressive. The area where the trees were is now 100% flat. I didn't go digging to confirm how deep the grinding was, but it looks extremely level. All in all, it really was a top notch job. I'm definitely going to utilize them for my future tree trimming or tree removal needs.

Another home run on Angie's list. What did I do before Angie's? Oh, that's right --- I got lousy service and lousy contractors 90% of the time. Hey, Eric was great... I needed the tree removed before Christmas decorations could go up on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. Even though I called him the day before Thanksgiving, on Wednesday, he juggled his schedule to have someone out the day after Thanksgiving to remove a large tree including the stump. They were quick and clean. I thought they would tear up the yard some, but there was nothing but a small bare spot in the middle of the yard where the trunk was and that was it. Great service at a great price. I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic! They got right to work, did exactly what they said they'd do, they were on time and got done as quickly as possible. After they were dobe, it looked like they hadn't even been there - except I didn't have my tree anymore.
