Affordable Tree Service

I was initially upset with this company, but I was able to speak to the owner, Eric Callahan, and he was pleasant and friendly, and they were able to come out within the week and repair the damage they initially did. He was nice and professional and most importantly, very affordable!!!! I would definitely recommend this company.

They arrived on time for the estimate and after the service was performed. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is because the time I had to schedule it was a long time from the estimate, but it is because they are so good, and affordable. They did great work.

Acre of property with dense over growth we have used ATS now for past 3 years and have to say they have provided us with the best service of any business in the Valley. They take the time to reshape overgrowth on palms and trees and really opened out backyard again to the sun. We have them come every 9 months and it is amazing how fast trees and palms grow in the desert. Will continue to use and probably will have them come back again shortly to trim up Palms on other side of house

Javier and his crew were on time, polite, and professional, and cleaned up all the debris. Javier consulted me as the crew worked as per my request to make sure the trees were trimmed/cut back to my specifications. I would recommend Affordable Tree Service to my neighbors.

They were the best, the best business I have used. The came at 11 and by 11:45 they had a 5 trees cut down, and they cleaned up. Then about an hour and a half later another crew came by and did the stumps.

These people are very professional in their work. Before removing the palm tree in my yard, they had all the utilities located and marked. After removing the tree, they clean up the yard, repaired the sprinkler was broken and replaced a plant that died as a result of removing the tree. I highly recommend them.

They showed up on time and only took 45 minutes to cut down the tree and clean up. Did a great job and price was good.

It went perfectly. Not one bad thing to say about this company. Arrived on time for free estimate. Gave a reasonable quote. Gave us arrival time between 11-1 and actually arrived at 10:15, and were finished by 11:00. Fast, efficient, excellent, clean job. They are busy, so we had to wait a month from quote to actual date of service. It was worth the wait. Very Impressed. Doesn't get any better than this.

Four workmen arrived on time. They were polite. The immediately began to work. The two trees were between a back wall and my swimming pool. They were difficult to get to. The covered the pool. It took about three hours but they cut the trees down piece by piece. They they hauled away all the refuse. They cleaned the pool almost better than my pool cleaning service. They cleaned the yard back to its pre-work state leaving everything clean and looking good. They climbed over the back wall to remove any debris from the trees that might have fallen into my neighbors yard. For this the charge was 800.00 minus the 10% coupon from Angie's list thus totaling 720.00. An excellent price for a job very well done. I will use them again for all my tree pruning, topping, etc. I highly recommend this company. I had read their reviews on Angie's list and that is why I used them. The reviews are true. Can't say enough about them.

When the provider would not provide an estimate at my convenience, I told him to NEVER MIND.. I would find someone else.

This is an excellent company. they were on time, efficient and fair in price. I will now use them bi-annually to keep these trees alive. A remarkable difference in health of the trees after their work.

I originally called Affordable Tree Services regarding a tree that looked dead when I moved in to my house. They came out, trimmed it down and said it could be saved. Charged me $120. A few months later the tree looked the same and I got a letter from the HOA stating the tree needed to be replaced. Called Affordable Tree Services again, they came out on time and completed the work. About two weeks after planting the tree one of the branches already had brown leaves on it, so I called them again and Eric said he would be out the next day to take a look at it.

Affordable Tree Service was one of several companies we contacted to estimate the cost of cutting down five 15 year old pines that were ruining our back yard. These trees were about 40 feet tall and about 3 feet in diameter. No small task! They came with a great price that including grinding down the stumps. We had to re-schedule one time, and they handled the changes with pleasure, showing up on time (to the minute) at our front door on the new day. It was amazing to watch them work, as we only have about a ten foot wide area to drop the branches because of a large covered patio. They were done in about four hours, professionally cleaning up all the debris and chopping up the trees with their truck out front. They asked if we wanted any of the large trunk pieces and left us the ones we wanted to give to a friend who needs firewood. The stump grinding team followed them in less than an hour and did a quick and thorough jobs of removing the stumps. They asked us about leaving the mulch behind which we chose to do. A professional, courteous and "Affordable" tree service. Highly recommended.

It went so well! They showed up early and worked efficiently to cut and cleared my two trees. I would use the service again and recommend it to my friends.

Affordable Tree Service arrived on time & started with the front trees. The trees were thinned & trimmed so they were not touching the house. When these were done, the men did the same to the trees in the back. Where limbs fell in the neighbors side, they were picked up. All the limbs & leaves were shredded by the machine the company brought. When they were finished, my yard was clean & my trees looked 100 percent better.

Estimating is done a few weeks in advance. Estimator arrives at the agreed-upon time and place. We review the work to be done, with the Estimator making recommendations as to timing and amount of pruning (we want the trees to be alive when the work is complete!). There are set prices for each piece of work, so the process is relatively straightforward. We had some deadlines and unavailable times in our schedule. Affordable Tree is very accommodating and is willing to work around those scheduling conflicts. The actual work is performed by a crew of 5. Each is very professional in their approach to the pruning project. All agreed upon items are performed, and the entire area is cleaned up and the pruned branches are fed to a chipper and hauled away. Within an hour the entire project is complete. We are very pleased with Affordable Tree's work, and will definitely use their services again.

They got here on time. And started right away. We were told that two men would come in the morning and cut stumps to the ground. And later other men would come grind. So it was a surprise to them and us that they had to do it all. They were very nice and finished the job. They did tell us that someone would come the next day to take away the stumps. They showed up everything looks good.

The work crew showed as scheduled and began work right away. The work was done very quickly and efficiently. The limbs of the mesquite tree were laying on the roof of my neighbors house, and the crew went to great pains to insure no damage was done. The cleanup went well, and work was completed inless than three hours. I highly recommend this company for their expertise and efficiency in getting the job done right.
