Description of Work: I have written a complete review of this company earlier this year. AS FAR AS I WAS TOLD THEY ARE OUT OF BUSINESS OR WORKING WITH DIFFERENT LICENSES. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT HEARTACHE, LIES, DELAYS AND WILL BE LUCKY TO HAVE THE JOB FINISHED. YOU CAN CHECK WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I HAVE WRITTEN THEM UP ON THAT SITE AND I KNOW PEOPLE HAVE GONE TO THE CONTRACTORS BOARD. THEY WERE SHUT DOWN A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO AND CANNOT BELIEVE THEY ARE SOLICITING BUSINESS AGAIN. THEY HAD NO MONEY TO PAY THEIR SUPPLIERS-- IF I WANTED MY CABINETS, GRANITE, ETC I HAD TO PAY FOR THE MATERIAL AND THE INSTALLERS AND WORKMEN. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE TAKEN BY THEM--- CHECK ALL THE SITES BEFORE YOU ENGAGE THEM. I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW HORRIBLE THE EXPERIENCE WAS.

We came across this company at a home show. Since then, they only came up with the plans three weeks ago, and then we found out they were going belly up. We contacted the contractor's control board, and we weren't the only ones that had complained. They got fined and revoked their license, and some of them will go to jail since they were illegally taking money from people. They started jobs and left half-way through. They don't respond to phone calls or emails and we even went to their show room to figure out when they were going to start, but never got any answers. They were closed down by the Contractor’s Control Board of Nevada; I'm working currently working with the Contractor's Control Board on getting my money back. They have an emergency relief fund.
Description of Work: We wanted to have a room addition added to our home. We gave them a deposit of 6,000 back in October and we’ve never gotten any work done.

Description of Work: I am not going to write a review until my project is finished but if any one has a specific question they can email me at mjmarcus1@cox.net My project started Nov 6th but I gave a 38% deposit on Sept 15th. My overall experience is checked F even tho there were workmen that were competent and I was able to work with them to complete the job. . The project finally came to a conclusion on 2/8//13 with the completion of the backsplash. The project that started on 11/6/12 and was supposed to take 3-4 weeks. I chose and ordered my own appliances and A&M was responsible for installation. I am giving the project an F because of the company Additions.n'More (A&M) even tho some of the workmen were of good quality and I will use them again if I need their trade. They are unlicensed but still do good work and are nice to deal with. My complaint is with the company A&M and its owership and management. After I gave my deposit of $16,000 on a $43,000 bid on 9/15/12 for the job my order for the cabinets was placed as well as supposedly an order for a backsplash and granite. The granite and cabinets were chosen with the advice of the in house kitchen designer for A&M, Joe Tibball, aloing with a friend decorator and myself. I will deal with the backsplash problem later. On Nov 6th the kitchen was demolished on the advice of the in house designer Joe Tibball and my supervisor Mike Levi. The original supervisor assigned to my project was Brenda Coronado who advised me not to demolsh the kitchen until my cabinets were in. The company changed my supervisor to Mike Levi who knew nothing about my design, project or the workmen who for the company and who for that matter was totally unfamiliar with anything to do with the proposed remodel but was a better liar than Brenda. I was told that the cabinets would arrive 8 days after the demolition and there was electrical, plumbing, tile, etc work that had to be done prior to the cabinet installation. The real truth was that they needed the $6,000 called for in my contract at the time of demolition. I had my appliances delivered as planned so that the project would proceed in a timely matter. That would have made the arrival date for my cabinets Nov.14. When are the cabinets coming?---Lie after Lie after Lie until I finally made an appt and faced the owner Jim Petty. He finally told me the truth that there was no money to pay for my cabinets and the company would not ship without payment up front. They even later attached the back money owed them by A&M which after negotiating with the local rep was removed and on Nov 29th I had to issue a check for $12,000 to Fashion Cabinets to pay for my cabinets and they were delivered to my home. The order that came was not the order that I had contracted for but was the order that A&M submitted. The reason being that the order sent to the cabinet company was less expensive that the order I contracted for. I had to deal with the cabinet company to get everything that I was supposed to get. At this time Mike Levi was removed as the supervisor in charge and Brenda Coronado was assigned as the new supervisor to finish the project. The money problem still persisted and I had to pay the cabinet company and almost every workman and I was supposed to keep track and take the amount off what I still owed on the contract. I did that or the job would be at a standstill. As of now the project is as finished as it is going to be with a few exceptions that I have to take care of. The final cost to me was approximately $3000.00 over the bid amount and I have no way of collecting that money unless I hire a lawyer and sue or go to small claims court and to be perfectly honest with everyone who reads this, I don't have the strength to do that and there is no money to be had. I have spoken to the contractor's board but have not yet filed any papers. I do know that the day I spoke to them they had visited A&M on another complaint. I know there are other complaints and I am evaluating what to do about filing mine. This event has caused me 3 months of a horrific time in my llife almost to the point of a nervous breakdown and was sent by my doctor to a cardiologist and had to endure a nuclear stress test to see if I had developed serious heart problems because of the stress this company caused me which to me was worse than the monetary loss. As to the backsplash story. The original backsplash was chosen by the decorator and since I had no experience in ever doing a backsplash I allowed this to happen. When I went back to Daltile to chose and inspect my granite slabs they looked at the backsplash with the granite and everyone there voiced the opinion that they just did not go together and something new had to be chosen. This time I really used Daltile's advice and spent a long time making this choice. Aside: I am thrilled with my choice and it is the hilite of my kitchen. I was informed by Daltile that the new one I chose was less money than the first one. When it came time to pick up the backsplash A&M had to do that since it was in their name. A&M claimed they had already paid for the original choice and I had to reimburse them for that and pay them up front for the new one less my contract allowance before they would give it to me There I was held hostage again to come up with the money they wanted or not get my product. They were unable to provide me with a copy of the paid invoice for the original backsplash so I have to assume they really never paid for it. At that time I was unable to deal directly with the tile company as I was with the cabinet company. This is my story--- I am certain there are more like this out there. My only hope is that this company is shut down before they harm others like they have harmed me and the monetary harm is really and truly the least of the whole situation. Feel free to call me if you need any more information. I hope there is no one else out there doing business with A&M.

We signed with them October 10, 2012. We gave them their deposit to start purchasing items for OUR job. They didn't start renovation until Dec 4th which we had to "BEG" them for a start date, which another payment was due on start of renovation. They started in our Masterbath, and as of today 2/8/13 the masterbath is not complete and unusable. Come to find out they didn't order our vanities, granite tops, toilets and many other items for our house renovation. We contacted the vendors directly that they use and found out they have faulted on payments to them. Where did our money go? In their pockets. The first week of February the owner came by our house (didnt even bother to look at the work that wasnt completed) but said another company was buying them out. Then two days later said that it did not go through and sent us an actual text saying " I am deciding which jobs we will proceed ahead with and yours is one under consideration, will get back to you this afternoon" As you can guess he didnt get back to us. What company puts you through this for the fact they collected money upfront-- a dishonest company who steals your money. There is so much more we could say about this, but hopefully this helps the next person who would consider even using them. Shame on us for trusting this dishonest company-live and learn as they say....

My wife and I met with Mark of Additions 'N' More to talk about a renovation of a home we have just purchased. He was arrogant and basically told my wife that she had no opinion on the value of what we paid for the house and he knew " the FACTS" which was completely incorrect. Who has the right to tell someone that their opinion is not valid? Especially since he (I assume) was trying to do business with us. Maybe he feels he is God. He then laughed at us several times when we were trying to explain what we wanted done to the house. As we were discussing prices, he just came out and asked my wife if she was budget-conscious or just CHEAP. Although he knew the area and model of the house we purchased, plus I think his materials and work would have been good, we will not use a man that is this rude and inconsiderate.

Excellent--Better coordination of the remodling to the house than I would have thought possible. Excellent work in identifying key elements of the project in advance so that appropriate decisions could be made. Good working relationship with the craftsman. Started the project as planned and did not leave until it was completed (except for weekends)--10 day project No charge for any changes or unforseen difficulties identified as the project proceeded.
Description of Work: Removed interior wall and repositioned all utilities including Personal Viewing Electronics. Critical to match and coordinate work with the two adjoining rooms--including Flooring, Steps, Wall Texture, Color and Baseboad moulding. Also to put TV over existing fireplace that was tiled without having to remove the tile. Included a small job of repairing wood floor in the office. critical to again match the wood.
