Like many others scammed by 'American Home Shield' they assigned this company. Took days for them to send someone out. Was he a tech? I guess he was just an inspector. I have two problems with my whirlpool washing machine. One, I can't use the deep water setting as the drum hits the floor. Two, the transmission is going and it is getting louder and louder and louder. The tech (?) inspector told me that the drum is rubbing on the tray it is sitting in. I asked if we just need to take the washer out of the tray. Answer "it has to be installed properly. I don't know who's gonna do it." Are you kidding me? First, that was a yes or no question. With, what could only be, a very simple answer. Second, he told me that the transmission was going. Great. I already know that. He then departed saying someone would write a report and we'll hear back about what, if anything, they or the insurance company were going to do about it. 100.00 for this? What a scam. Did he even fix the tray issue? Nope. Did NOTHING. Rosa, the sole person it seems who answers the phone there, also cannot listen. Twice I asked for them to please send me a different tech, who could and would answer my questions. Twice she told me she can't transfer me and there is no one else there. RUN from ADA Repair and especially American Home Shield. UPDATE A different person called me from ADA, who did not identify herself, to tell me that unless I move the machine to another room, while still being hooked up (WHAT??) they can't diagnose it at all. Where do they keep their washing machines? In the middle of their living rooms evidently. Just complete nonsense that keeps getting worse! Home warranty company charged me 100.00 to send me out a company who basically said, we don't do that.

These guys are a shady, dishonest garbage company and should be avoided at all costs. Unfortunately for me, they were foisted on me by Whirlpool for a warranty issue. The guy who showed up at my house was fine. He offered helpful info and was friendly. I honestly feel bad for him that he's working for such a poor company. I was experiencing some issues with my fairly new Whirlpool refrigerator so I called Whirlpool to discuss warranty options. They insisted that I use an approved service provider to come out and diagnose the issue. They advised me to contact ADA Repair and told me the price they quoted to come out and assess the situation. My first clue should have been that the amount they charged was more that what Whirlpool told me it would be by about $20. When the guy arrived he examined the issue and diagnosed it along with a recommended solution. He advised me to call his office to sort out how to work out the warranty service with Whirlpool and getting the paperwork outlining it to them. When I called them, it became very clear that they just wanted me to pay for the repair and then sort it out with Whirlpool. I didn't like that but I was willing to do it. The real problem came when they just wouldn't send me the paperwork. I mean, they said they would but they just didn't. I called them three times in total and they told me they'd send it or have someone else contact me but they just never did. I received no callback and nothing arrived in my email and yes, I checked my spam folder. Now I'm out the charge for having them come out, which was supposed to be applied to the repair and my fridge is still not working correctly. I'm not going to waste anymore of my time chasing them. If the BBB wasn't a pointless joke, I'd report them there but I think posting this review to Yelp, Google and Angie's List will help save others the frustration I've encountered. These guys are dishonest and shady. They will take your money and waste your time but your problem will not be resolved. I will definitely let Whirlpool know about them
