The plumber was professional, quick and did a great job. I feel as though there was some sort of mix up with my appointment and that is why the time off, but things do happen so I would definitely use them again.

The plumber told me that the water in Las Vegas was NOT "hard". Based on that he told me I am treating the wrong problem and recommended I remove my water softener (as soon as possible) because it is degrading my system and install a filtration system for the whole house at a cost of $2500. I looked at the Las Vegas Water Department's website after the visit and they clearly state the water is "very hard" as a result of the majority flowing from the Colorado river and thus high in both magnesium and calcium. This makes me question his evaluation on other parts of my plumbing system.

The price they wanted to do the job was way too much for a $21.00 part!!! I just paid the service fee and looked elsewear....

Worst service I ever had. Tech opened top of tank. Told me cost to repair would be $200+. I said too expensive. He said new toilet $750+. I said that's ridiculous. He heads out door to leave. I ask what did I pay for. Isn't he supposed to check rest of plumbing. He half *** goes to other bathroom. It couldn't get worse...but it did.

Great! Very responsive, solved our problem and got our water heater running again.

They were prompt and respectful of our home. Everyone was very nice, from the phone call to set up appointment to the men who performed the service.

this company and their employees always do a good job - there was no way of telling that this part was defective when they installed it about 6 weeks ago - Chris came out - was on time - removed and replaced bad part - apologized for the inconvenience - tested the new part - there was no charge for this visit or for the part - i will be doing business with this company again - they stand behind their work.

It was horrible. They called me to set up the appointment. They were very pleasant. The day they were going to come out they called me a couple of times to let me know when they were coming, and chose to follow up. Talking to them, they were very nice, the gentleman came out and I showed him the kitchen faucet that needed to be fixed because it wasn't rotating back and forth correctly. While he was there I told him that I had an outside faucet that needs to be fixed, so he pulled off the strip and started looking at everything. He personally told me that the faucet outside would be $158 to fix. I told said you're kidding, and that I know that all of that comes off and you just screw and new one on. He said that I don't understand and it's more involved in that, he said the water has to be shut off and the lines had to be bled. He immediately knew I didn't trust him, because I said the shut off pal is out in the garage, and turn off the water all the time. I also know what bleeding line is, you turn the faucet on in the bathroom. I told him that I don't need his service. I asked him about the kitchen sink. He said the water here is terrible and we need to replace it. I told him to take a look at it and see if he could replace a part because it's barely over a year old. I don't think the water has really broke anything, I think the part has broke. He would not do that. He said no and that he would put in a Moen faucet for $465. Again, I told him you got to be kidding me, and I told him that my faucet is a Koehler, and it has a lifetime warranty. I told him that I can get the part for free. He told me that I can go ahead and do that and he'll charge me $200 to install it. I will never use them again. He was overcharging. They try to take advantage of you.

Work was done well, but charge came to about $1000, which seemed high. This included $159 for a maintenance plan they sold me, which covered three inspections a year, and 15% off charges. They promptly called to schedule the first inspection. They promised to arrive between noon and two pm. I got a call at 1:15 saying I was the next customer on the list and it wouldn't be long. Got another call at 2:30 saying the crew was finishing up the repair and they should be at my place within the hour. 3:30 came and went with no further word. I called them to complain and to ask for a refund on the plan. Talked to the owner -- he'd be happy to cancel the plan and refund my $159, but he would have to offset the 15% discount on the original service call, which meant I would get back virtually nothing. Result: I wasted an entire afternoon waiting for these bozos, who never showed, and refused to make a reasonable adjustment. Do NOT do business with this outfit. They are unreliable and they lie.,

I called Active Plumbing immediately as they have done excellent work for me in the past. My dilemma was that we were hosting a Christmas Reception in 3 hours and there was water all over the floor and we needed the plumbing fixed ASAP. The Service Call Technician who answered my phone call was able to arrange for a Technician / Plumber to come to my house within an hour. "Chris" arrived, surveyed the situation, educated me as to the improper installation of the pipes and installed the piping in a correct manner within minutes. As with the gentleman who performed repair work for me in the pas from Active Plumbing, Chris was professional, courteous, clearly knowledgeable and made us all feel at ease about the situation. I will always use this company who have also expanded their services to include HVAC. Thank you for a job well done!

Chris was very professional, arrived on time and cleaned up after the work was complete. I gave a B on responsiveness because it took a while for them to contact me after the purchase was made through Angies List. However I am very happy with the work that was done. I would hire again.

There was a full check of water pipes, toilet, under the sinks, and other water pipes. Found calcium build-ups, etc., some possibly due to age. Good overview of system and suggested repairs and suggested preventive measures made.
