He gave us a price for new innerds and for complete overhaul. Felt we were misled about doing innerds and then doing complete overhaul.

It went okay, but other "repair work" was suggested (I passed). It's always been a concern of mine that "simple checkups" somehow turn into repair work that MUST be done. Hmmmmm. I also agreed to buy a "warranty" agreement (89.00)

completed inspection and was told water heater had to be replaced. They wanted $1587 to replace my 50 gallon water heater; I had it done for $820.

Real well. Matt and his partner showed up on time and did a great job in identifying potential problems that could arise in my 7 year old hot water heater. So far, no problems with existing hot water heater, but recommended purchase of a tankless unit within the next 2 years. I agreed and will call on Active Plumbing to install it, along with a filter system, at a fair and reasonable price.

The lady i spoke to on the phone was a sweetheart, she had eveything ready to go for same day service, with a great initial price. however, apparently this company has a new policy regarding renters, that they insist on speaking to the property OWNER before coming for service. I put them in touch with the property management company, but that wasn't good enough! The owner lives out of country and hired the property managers to take care of this stuff so he isn't bothered. I can understand not wanting to do major repairs without owner consent, but unclogging a drain???? This new policy is terrible and it seems likely they are going to lose a lot of business as a result.

Something didn't feel right. It seemed like the $39 inspection was a "lost leader" for something more expensive. The technician found that I needed a new anode rod in the water heater for the price of $269. Seems about $100 too high, but I had him install it anyway. (I'm a senior citizen who doesn't do her own "handyman" work.) He also said he could replace one of my toilet flappers for $141, but I didn't have him do that. By the way, all service people should stop saying "I'm going to give you a discount because I like you"

Very well. We are very happy with the work. They inspected all the plumbing in the house and it was obvious that we needed to have some valves replaced. I will definitely hire them again.

Perfect. My master bedroom toilet now flushes well. All 3 toilets flush well now that Chris serviced them, even though Chris will need to rebuild them. He also gave me suggestions about cleaning my garbage disposal.

Worker was excellent, professional and job was completed in timely matter. Cost was very high in my opinion.

Inspection of water heater was incomplete. My heater stopped working a day after the water heater was flushed out.

I think it was a bait and switch. I had to pay $600 and some more. I would not use them again. It was done the same day. They did a good job on cleaning the area. Their pricing was crazy. I think it was $1000, I think with your thing it was $800. Their pricing is crazy. they need to work on their pricing and be more transparent on their pricing.

Not well. I was not at all pleased.

The gate valve setup was tricky and difficult to do in a limited space. The first plumber from another company could not figure out what to do and wanted to charge a large amount of money even before deciding that they could complete the job. I then went to Angie's list and selected ACTIVE PLUMBING. The people in the office were very responsive and courteous and quickly set up an appointment. Chris? arrived on time, took a look at the gate valve situation and confidently stated that even though it was difficult, he could do it. He also recommended using more effective ball valves. He explained everything that needed to be done and showed me what he was doing at each step. He also showed me how to protect the pipes from cold weather. His estimate for the work was reasonable, so I had him come back to replace old leaking hose bibs around the house. All work was done in a reasonable time and functioned perfectly. Later one of the hose bibs leaked and Chris returned and repaired it at no charge. All is working well at this time. Clean up was perfect. I was satisfied. ACTIVE PLUMBING is now my go to plumber from now on. Highly recommended. Cost of service is for both jobs.

They were great! He was wonderful. He was very professional and helpful. He explained to me that was being done. I wasn't really happy about the price, but it was a better price than a former plumber that I had used.

OK except for price for 2 additional valves was way out of line. .

They were fast and did not gouge me.
