Eric was very nice and professional. He knew what he was doing. I wish he were more reasonably priced, as I would love a dependable plumber. They came out to flush my water heater. Ended up buying a new one for $1484.00 for the smallest one they had. He recommended that I call Moen for a free replacement cartridge for one of my bathroom faucets. I will do that, but I found a youtube video that shows me how to replace it instead of paying 210.00 for him to return to replace it (these are Angie's List's discounted prices). I am embarrassed to tell people that I paid that much. My friend had a new water heater installed for a much larger home at 800.00 :-(

The two gentlemen who came out were prompt, professional and honest. I would use Active Plumbing again, in the future.

.We had scheduling issues with the kitchen remodel and had to reschedule Active Plumbing several times, sometimes at the last minute. Eddie was very accommodating. Once we had a firm schedule, Eddie advised that he would have someone over in the afternoon to begin the reconnect. I had added the laundry room and sink shutoff valve replacements also in conjunction with the reconnect. No one showed up that afternoon and I did not get a call rescheduling. I did send a text inquiry that evening but got no response. The next morning, I had to call several numbers to get through to one of the other plumbers and was advised that they would have someone out around 11 AM. The plumber did not show up until around 1 PM or so. He ran into several difficulties because of an incompatible sink screen/garbage disposal that was an error on the part of the plumbing supplier that I had purchased the sink/garbage disposal from. I had to change out the garbage disposal that afternoon and we ran out of time. A new plumber showed up early the next afternoon and did an excellent job reconnecting the sink, installing the Point-of-Use water heater and replacing the shutoff valves. He took his time, asked pertinent questions and pointed out areas of concern that I needed to address later. All in all, the work was excellent, the communication not so good and the price, I thought was a little high, but there were a lot of complications and given the amount of the time that was spent and the quality of the work, fair. Next time I will need to use Angie's List and get more quotes for the work being done.

Eddie saved me! My water heater broke at 3:30 in the morning and I could not shut off the water. He advertises on the internet that he is 24 hours. I felt bad because I woke him up but he said he would be over in 30 minutes. In the meantime, I was bailing water out of the water heater closet, afraid that water would leak through the walls onto my neighbor's ceiling downstairs. He arrived just as he said he would and stopped the water. He explained what had happened and drained the water from the heater and even vacuumed up the excess water with a shop vac. I am so grateful that he was there to help me. He charged just $50. Unfortunately, Eddie gave me an estimate for a new water heater and install, for $975.00. I knew that was too high, and found a reputable company on Angie's List to do the work for $740. Too bad, because I liked him and wanted to give him my business.

Eddie looked at the bathroom with no tub first. He said that the job would have to include hiring four people to carry the tub from the garage into the bathroom. He also said that they would need to remove the bathroom door from its hinges to get the tub into the bathroom. For this bathroom, the price he quoted was $1,400. For the second bathroom, Eddie said that the tub would have to be lifted out in order for the fixtures to be replaced. (This bathroom already had a tub installed.) For this bathroom, the price he quoted was also $1,400, for $2,800 total for the two bathrooms. We did not hire Eddie. Instead, we found another plumber who was recommended by our handyman. Unlike Eddie, the plumber that we hired did not need to remove the bathroom door, nor did he require a team of four to carry the tub. He carried the tub with the help of only one other person, the handyman, who was already here doing other jobs around the house. For the second bathroom, the plumber that we hired did not need to lift out the tub. Instead, he simply removed one tile from the side of the tub to access the pipes and valves. Instead of paying Eddie $2,800 for these two jobs, we paid someone else $625 for a job very well done.

Did not show up during appointment window 7:00am - 9:00am. I called at 1000am and their response was "were you scheduled today?".

He was prompt, pleasant, listened to all the details, and went to work. Problem solved! I was glad he was the company we found.

We are very pleased with the work and will definitely call again. My husband dealt with him and said he was very helpful and a nice person.

Active Plumbing was one of three names of plumbers provided by Southwest Gas. I looked each company up. Two were listed on Angie's list. Active Plumbing had the more consistent rating and was closer to my residence. The plumber was able to come out within one day of my first call and assess the job. The job was finished within two days. I was instructed on the how to use the gate valve and the valve for the irrigation system and protect it from freezing next winter. The area was left in good condition. The worker was professional. I plan to have Active Plumbing come back to do another elective job in the future.

They replaced the fill valve and flush valve in the master bathroom. They checked the toilet in the guest bathroom and replaced the flapper.

I have an AHS service contract. They were contacted on 7/27 and called me on 7/28 and performed the service on 7/31. I am extremely pleased with their service.

We have been using Active for more than ten years. They have made at least a dozen trips to our house, and they have done all of our plumbing. They are prompt, extremely well mannered and their prices are the best in town. It started as a family business and they still have the friendly neighbor attitude. That keeps us from looking elsewhere. As long as we live here, Active will be our plumbing company.
