Nir and Russell came out the next day after my order. The technician was Russell. He worked very quickly and cleaned up after himself. He installed new high security locks and explained how they worked. Very professional.

Anthony was my tech, he was very knowledgable and was able to fix my lock with the angle list amount. I'm on a fixed income so I appreciate that.

They did a fine job. We had no problems with the scheduling. They sent 2 guys out to do the job and they were fine and got the job done. The job didn’t take them very long to complete.

I think it went well. Nothing really stands out. They just swapped out the locks and it worked, so far it still works.

I am very unhappy with the ad in Angies List. It states that a member gets 10% off the bill, that only applies to Labor?. False advertising. Their service charge of over $50.00 is way too much, specially if you want a lot of things done. There is no negotiating with the service person....I am very upset and therefore will never use ABC again, Angies list or no Angies List.

The Baldwin company sent new internal parts for a broken unit and said a homeowner could replace the broken parts. That wasn't exactly true because of the specific model I have. Anthony did a great job correctly reassembling the internal components and testing it numerous times to assure it worked.

I bought the big deal and most of it was taken just to cover this companies service fee before the charges incurred replacing my ( least expensive option) door lock for $95.46.| I called other companies and their service charges were about half. |I did call ABC's service rep. to discuss the charge and she informed me that was the way it's been. :/|Will not use this company again.

I purchased one of the deals from this provider. I have been hesitant to write a review because I have mixed feelings about it: on the positive side, the provider (I believe it is a network of Locksmiths and they sent me someone local) was on time and seemed to do good quality work. He up-sold me "pick-resistant" locks but that was my choice and he made a compelling argument for it. On the downside: the cost was much higher than I originally anticipated. I have been unable to confirm whether the price he offered was "market" or whether it was unusually high. You can make a decision on this. It was about $500 for two pick-resistant locks.

Provided expected job and I estimate he provided excellent service. Plan to use provider again.

The service was fine but the locksmith was not friendly. Also, he tried to up-sell immediately by suggesting new locks for $250/each (approx. $500 total) instead of re-keying that I had called him to do.

The entire experience was right on target. They were professional, on time, had the parts and tools needed, good communication and good explanation of pricing and description of locks. Price was higher than anticipated, but I think it was fair.

Replaced defective garabge door lock. Took less than a 1/2 hours. Exremely pleased with the service provided

The re-keying the locks went well. The only problem is pricing. This was a discounted offer for services. Unfortunately I dont remember the exact deal, it was about $40 for $80 worth of service. After a problem with the same type of deal, I called them for a price on re-keying the locks and the cost would be about the $80 and I then took the deal. When the locksmith came, he informed me that the locks on my 11 year old home were some kind of discontinued type of lock even though they take standard key blanks, and it would cost another $30. I went ahead with it anyway

This was a deal we purchased through Angie's List and with the poor service and extra costs, we are very unhappy. At times, I felt unsafe because two guys showed up and one disappeared throughout their time here.

It was very average. I would give them a C.

We just purchased a home and needed locks rekeyed and a few dead bolts added to door. The "locksmith" came out and spent two days making an absolute mess of our doors. In our solid wood front door he drilled for a dead bolt in the wrong spot and had to drill a second time leaving an unsightly figure 8 hole, requiring an ugly metal plate to cover his mistake. Another door frame was over chiseled and a horrible mess. The company had to send other locksmiths out on two occasions to fix the initial work done. I also felt that we were way overcharged by his incompetence. The company did refund $100 but we still felt so sick about the entire transaction that this hardly compensated. I will give credit to the two locksmiths that came to fix things as they both seemed very competent and professional. Unfortunately the original guy was so horrible that they were too little too late.

I purchased a Big Deal for this service provider. The company was very responsive and professional on the phone, scheduling a locksmith the next day at a time that was convenient for me to be home. The locksmith who came to do the work, Geo, was punctual, very pleasant and professional. He diagnosed the problems and went right to work and let me know what the problems were he was correcting. Great customer service!

They replaced a lock on our gate leading to the backyard. The serviceman was on time and replaced the lock very quickly. The service call took only a few minutes. We plan to use ABC Locksmiths in the future.

I originally wanted the two locks rekeyed, but the tech suggested changing out the entire lock on the front door. It really made sense to do so, and was only an additional $15. as opposed to rekeying the existing assembly.

I purchased a "deal" from Angie's for $39.99 for $75 worth of locksmith services. To have the hole drilled was $63 EXTRA on top of the $75 dollars purchased. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. This was NOT a deal. We ended up paying more for this than most other places charge without the Angie's "deal". BUYER BEWARE

ABC locksmiths C No 30-Jul-13 when spoke to ABC - was notified that the visit/consult was more than the $75 so they would only subtract $75. This was a few months back so I don't remember all the details. In the future I will either call ahead before purchasing to get exact details. Though I wish in the future ABC and other companies would try to include ALL information or update there offers if they realize they made a mistake in being clear. I requested a refund as I did not receive any services.

No problems, work done well, quietly & quickly. Very satisfied.
