ABC Locksmiths and ABC Towing has been in the security and roadside services for many years. We are proud Independent Contractors of AAA Emergency Roadside Services. We are LOCAL, and we carry all the necessary permits and licenses. We offer 24/7 emergency mobile locksmith and towing services. Our mission is "to do whatever it takes to make our customers happy. Description of Work: Our deadbolt on the front door was spinning in it's housing. She came out on time and had the job done better than we expected in less than 30 minutes. Definitely a very talented and knowledgeable locksmith, and a great lady!

Description of Work: Work: Re-keyed house keys. Punctuality: The office called me and letting me know that he was behind the schedule. He came within that new time schedule. The technician was very honest. Before he started working on he gave me an estimate. After work was done, he said since he did not have to take the cylinder out he would charge me less. If I need the service again, I definitely call this company.

Description of Work: Locksmith showed up, but could not make a key to fit a simple lock. I phoned several times requesting either a compitent locksmith or a refund, but got nowhere. They never returned any calls. I will never use them again and am VERY disappointed in Angie's list for not helping to resolve this matter.

Although I do understand your frustration, please keep in mind that not every lock can be fitted with a key if the original key is lost. I have been a locksmith for 17 years and I have encountered several times locks that I could not make a key to for various reasons. For example, a cheap imported lock can sometimes become a nightmare to work with. An old and worn-down lock, or a lock that was rekeyed in a certain way (pin sizes are extreme size difference from chamber to chamber i.e 625162 combination) are sometimes extremely difficult to re-key etc.. I am also surprised that the communication level was not strong. Angie's list can easily get a hold of us by sending us an email or by calling us. If you contacted Angie's List and were not successful at resolving the issue I would suggest discussing that with them. Please keep in mind that we have been with Angie's List for many years and our overall A rating speaks volumes.

Excellent, Professional Service
Description of Work: Excellent Technician, Excellent Work Had a front glass/screen door that needed a handle/lock installed. Previous installer of the original did a poor job on the landing in the frame. ABC Technician repaired the landing, installed the handle/lock perfectly. Called on a Sunday, Technician arrived on time that same day and performed the work required. No extra charge for same day installation on a Sunday.
