Roger called before coming over to verify I would be home. Arrived shortly thereafter and was very professional. Took care of the problems quickly with no problems. Will use Abbott again if other plumbing problems comes up.

I called and asked if they could go over to fix. They ran over there! Lightening quick and fixed the problem without a rush charge. They are not cheap, but when you want it done right, it's worth it!

Dean came to give us an estimate on the work. He began the next week at 8 am. It took 2 days. Dean and his partner did an exceptional job. We couldn't have been more pleased. We would not hesitate to recommend them. They were very professional and pleasant to work with.

Called for service and within 2 hours of the call the plumber (Fred) arrived. We knew there would be access problems to replace the faucet because of the design of the island, but Fred worked with the space available to make it happen. He even had to retro fir the faucet I had purchased because the washer was too large for the space available. Fred was always conscientious of keeping the area and our house clean as he replaced the unit. He was extremely friendly and handled the job very professionally.

Very quick response had the required parts on hand. Friendly yet stayed focused on the job at hand.

I called and requested someone to come to my home and install a facuette that I purchased at a local hard ware store. The appointment was set for the next day. They had to put me off for a few hours due to an unexpected delay at another job. The service tech made it within the time frame anyway.He installed the fixture but took 1.5 hours to do so for which I was told would be less than an hour. He did a good job and the unit works fine. So far no problems. NO worries, no issues.

We purchased the faucet and the plumber installed the item. However he did not install the sink drain part of the unit. We called them back and they came back the next day and corrected the problem. Also they were very late for the appointment and several phone calls were needed to get the job done on the day for which the appointment was set. The work was fine and they honored the Angie's List coupon but I was disappointed with the over all experience.

The serviceman arrived on time was very courteous and professional. He answered all my questions and gave suggestions for improving and cleaned up after himself.

Abbots was a pleasure to deal with. The came out for both the estimate and the work when promised. Due to the age of the original water heater they also had to install the pan and straps to secure it. The also replaced all the tubing and valves that connected the hot water heater. When they came out to do the estimate they also showed my wife how to clean out the faucet in our kitchen as the water pressure was very low. They cleaned up and took everything with them. My wife was very pleased with the speed and quality of work. They did the repair during my 2 year olds nap and she never woke up.

Carlos from Abbott Plumbing came out to my house on a Monday morning to do an estimate. He saw the leak coming out of my water meter box. He shut off the water valve to verify that the leak was on my side of the meter. Once he bailed the water out of the meter box and turned the valve back on, he could see the water was coming from just outside the concrete box where the inlet pipe leaves the box. He said that he would need to dig just outside the meter box to get a look at the pipe. He said he would either be able to repair the pipe and/or fitting or possibly have to replace the entire inlet pipe that supplies water to my house. He said that to replace the inlet pipe it would cost around $1800. Repairing a pipe or fitting would be much cheaper (I don't remember the amount -- maybe $200-$300). Once he dug down to the fitting we were able to verify that it was a Kitec pipe and that the fitting failed. I was already familiar with Kitec from a presentation that another plumbing company gave to our HOA, warning that we might have it in our houses. I knew it couldn't be repaired (you can't buy the fittings anymore and the work wouldn't pass code). The only choice was to dig a trench and by-pass the old pipe with a new one. Carlos said he would try to come back that day with a helper (since this is a much bigger job), if not, he would be back the next day (Tuesday). Heather from Abbott contacted me to let me know that Carlos would be back Tuesday morning with a helper. On Tuesday morning Carlos arrived with his helper Doug. They did a great job digging a new trench through my front yard. They were very careful to preserve the sod in chucks so that they could lay it back into to place when the work was complete. When the new pipe had to cross under my concrete walkway, they used a high pressure stream of water to dig a tunnel underneath the concrete walkway without damaging it. I did have to loose one bush that was planted right where the inlet pipe had to enter my garage. They were careful and thorough in making sure the new pipe hooked into my home's plumbing correctly. They gave me the Kitec pipe pieces and fittings that they cut out so that I could save them as proof for possible reimbursement. While digging the trench along the side of my garage, the over-pour of my home's concrete foundation caused them to have to use heavier tools to dig the trench. Unfortunately, one of my PVC sprinkler pipes got nicked. They let me know and fixed it at no charge on the next day. The new inlet pipe is working fine and the landscaping looked almost backed to normal as soon as they were done. You could barely tell the sod had been cut into and dug up. And now that a couple of weeks have past and the soil is settling under it, it looks normal (I just need to plant a new bush). The final price came to $1800 minus the $10 off for the Angie's List coupon. I was very happy with Abbott Plumbing and I would use them again!

They did a nice job. The only issue was that the guy who came out to do the work left to get the parts and came back later and we found out he charged us travel charges to get the parts. Everything else was fine, but I think we would shop around before calling them again.

The plumber was a very nice guy and he was very well on time and responded very quickly after I called. Was very proffesional and very nice person. I will use him again.

The plumber quickly determined the controls on the water softener system were shot and I needed a new system. I asked about alternatives - constantly replenishing the system by hauling bags of salt was very tiresome, plus I have always disliked the feel/taste of softened water. Based on his recommendation I switched from a water softener to a water conditioner that would require no maintenance, was eco-friendly, and better for my plumbing than traditional water softener systems. He explained it wouldn't improve the taste - that would require a water purification. While the plumber was gone to get the materials he needed to do the job, I was able to verify everything he said on the internet and that indeed his recommendation was a perfect fit for me. While doing the work the plumber noticed that my main water valve had deteriorated, and he replaced it as a courtesy. The plumber was friendly, professional, and efficient. He removed the old system, and cleaned up my utility room. Carlos and Abbott Plumbing are now my plumbers - it' great to have someone you can trust.

Existing water heater started leaking on Monday. Abbott was able to come out on Wednesday. Two plumbers showed up as scheduled and had the work done in two hours. Abbott was very good about calling and keeping me appraised of the schedule. They also replaced the existing broken shutoff gate valve with a superior ball valve.

This positive experience with a plumber has made joining Angie's List so worthwhile. Thankfully, we haven't had to use plumbers too often but the downside is we don't know who to call when we need one; way to go Angie's List! Abbott Plumbing was chosen because of their grades and ratings. I called 4 companies and Abbott had the best price (2 actually wanted to charge hour rates). The gentleman who came was friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. He needed to make a supply trip for a part and promptly returned to finish the work. My wife and I were impressed with the installation and the clean-up. When I later called the company to inquire about a little wobble in one of the toilet tanks, Abbott's sent someone out the next day to take care of it - no charge, of course. We'll definitely call on Abbott Plumbing should we need their services in the future!

They did a good job with the work, but it was the personality of the guy that I didn't enjoy. It wasn't even that we had a personality clash but just a difference.

These guys are thorough and professional. Their office staff was very professional and helpful in scheduling the appointments. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Steve from Abbott was several minutes earlier than our scheduled appointment. (That's very unusual for many industries in this valley.) He called me and identified himself. My husband met with him. Steve fixed the problem in a jiffy. He put new plumber's putty for the bathtub drain and tested it for leaks. He gave my husband an education as how to do the same for other bathtubs we have in the house. He also showed my husband how to fix the loose faucet in the same tub. When I knew that we were not being charged for anything for this great service, it brightened my day by knowing there are good people/plumbers out there. I called Steve to thank him and tell him that I will be sending him a gift card. It's for sure that I will recommend Abbott's service to my friends. I can't wait to tell them my experience with this great plumbing company. : )

It went very well. The servicemen were friendly helpful and personable from start to finish. I will definitely use the company for all my plumbing needs.

My hot water heater finally gave up after 10 years causing a mild eruption. Shut off the main water source and called Abbott Plumbing. They responded a few months ago on a leaky valve problem at my son's condo and fixed the problem immediately, so I decided to go with them as well. I called it in on Sunday and they were able to install a new HWH the next day! The plumber(s) were very professional and were very dedicated to their job. They had the job completed in about 2 hours and $200 below the quoted estimate! I truly could not ask for a better job!!!

We had left a message with Abbott Plumbing's service on Sunday. Monday morning Dean called us right away and made an appointment to come an hour later. He was right on time and talked my husband through how to clean the clogged bathroom drain, so we could do it ourselves later. The washer pipe required a bit more work. He took out a section of old pipe (our house was built in 1956) and put in some new that would be easier to clean out. After he was done, he gave us some great advice on what faucets to buy for both of the older houses we are restoring and even took the time to give the house we just bought a block over a once through. Definitely ask for Dean! He is fabulous.

Our water heater started leaking one morning. After doing some quick research online, I decided I wanted to replace it with an AO Smith water heater. Abbott Plumbing was one of the contractors listed on the AO Smith website; so I called them. They gave me an estimate and were able to come out that afternoon. The plumber drained the old water heater, removed it, and installed the new one (complete with a new pan and straps to anchor it to the wall). He worked efficiently, and we have been very pleased with our new water heater.

We have a 1956 house, so sometimes we need people to be a bit creative. We had been having trouble with our guest bath shower leaking out the exterior wall. Tom realized that with a shift in either the slab or the ground the shower drain and pipe didn't quite meet up anymore. This very slight crack was causing our problem. Mike cleared the drain and put a fan on the shower. We left it like that for 24 hours. He returned and used silicone to cover the entire crack, replaced the fan, and told us to leave it there for another 24 hours. It is now several months later and the shower still works wonderfully.

I would recommend them in the future.
