Door worked smoothly after repair. Victor was punctual, pleasant and made the repairs plus provided advise for any future problems.

Vic of AAA Doors Plus did a great job. It is very obvious that he knows his stuff when it comes to repairing doors and his professional approach was much appreciated. Vic is extremely friendly and honest. Our patio door has never worked this well. We would have Vic back in our home anytime. Thank you for a great job. PS...He fixed our front door too and didn't even charge for it. I know this all to be true because our cat liked him too. :)

I contacted AAA Doors plus after reading the reviews on Angies List. Our sliding glass door was extremely difficult to open/slide. We purchased this house last year and are pretty certain everything on the door was original (from the 1980's) and really needed help. I called Vic and he was able to come by that same day; I explained the difficulty I was having, and he gave a quote over the phone based on what he thought the issue was. He was right: the rollers needed to be replaced. The work was done in approx. an hour. He was very kind and tolerant of our cats, which was also appreciated. The door slides great now--very happy.

A bit hard to get in contact with, but he did a excellent job. I like that this is a family owened buisness and Vic had a great personality.? although forgetful at times lol, Im completely satisfied with his work. I will call him first if I ever need another job done.

He initially quoted me $200 and seemed happy to come out and do it without seeing it first. I called him again to establish an appointment and he quoted me a higher price. He claimed he quoted me $230. He was not very cooperative to set up an appointment. He eventually scheduled but then was a no show and needed to reschedule. After making a second appointment he then was a no call no show for that appointment and I have not heard from him since. It was very poor customer service.

EXCELLENT service. We will be using Doors Plus again for more doors in our home. EXTREMELY friendly. INCREDIBLY professional.

The installation of the new door is top notch!

Victor friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He called to say he was on his way, and arrived as promised. He is a journeyman in the trade, and comes prepared to complete the job (tools and parts).

It went well. He came out on time and was very professional. He also adjusted my front and sliding back door free of charge.

Victor arrived on time. Repaired the door as needed and charged exactly what he quoted over the phone. His price was very reasonable he did a great job.

Vic is a good guy with a great spirit. He showed up early, fixed my problems, and was fun to shoot the breeze with. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

Vic came out to take a look at my glass shower doors that were literally slipping so that one was unable to move. He fixed both glass sliders, and secured the rollers to prevent it happening again. He then fixed doors in the house that had problems for years.....the hallway mirrored doors, my patio french doors, and the door going to the garage. I now have no "gaps" for great insulation! Vic was totally professional, friendly, and fun. He did a great job and went the "extra mile". Would definitely recommend!

After checking Angie's List I contacted Doors Plus and Victor answered the phone. I asked a couple of questions about my door and whether he sold new doors. He responded that he did but doubted that I needed a new one after i explained the problems that I was having. He said it probably just need new rollers and should work like new. I asked when he could come out to look at it and repair and he said in about an hour after he finished his lunch. He told me that it would cost $165. I agreed and gave him directions. He arrived within the hour and went right to work. He was extremely personable and explained everything he was doing. He had a great sense of humor and I asked if he did stand-up on the side. I enjoyed Victor very much and was most impressed with the work he did -- the door works like new and he also adjusted the screen so that it too now slides easily. Lastly he lubricated my squeaky recliner as a "valentine's present" for my wife who had complained that it drove her crazy. I highly recommend AAA Doors Plus and have added them to my list of favorite service people to use in the Vegas Valley.

Victor, as I said, was responsive and right on time. He worked efficiently and professionally and went above and beyond. Thank you Victor and Angie's List!

He showed up quite late. Upon arrival, Vic, he stated he did not have all of the parts he needed. Yet he charged me the full price for the work anyway. He was not professional. I like a joke, but, but he kept saluting me and my wife. At one point my company and a new neighbor that stopped by asked what was wrong with him. He would do other things that were out of character and embarrassing. Vic did a replacement of the door jamb but only a repair to the split in half door facing. When I asked why he merely glued it together, he stated, "I told you when I arrived I didn't have all the parts". He cut a padlock off my garage door for me. There was a charge for that. Fair enough. He did not clean up his mess. In the end, I gave him a check and escorted him out the door. Then I cleaned my own floor. All in all, I gave him instruction on how long the screws should be to secure my front door since he didn't state what he was going to do. He was vague and I needed to make sure he was going to repair my front door to prevent someone from entering it. Lesson learned. AAA will not be at my home again. Oh yeah, he was packing up and ready to leave and there was a clear break in the wood that needed repair. I had to make him fix that and spray paint the repair. Save yourself time and aggravation, call another company. BTW, another company informed me they would have charged me $20.00 less for the same work. Hire someone else or do the work yourself. Based on all the reviews, Vic is the sole employee. UPDATE: According to Nevada Board of Contractors, his license has been cancelled.

Our sliding door started making bad noises, knew it had to be the rollers. I looked on Angie's list for someone to come fix it. Found AAA Doors Plus, I called Monday morning, 16 Dec 13 about 0930, got hold of Vic, I explained the problem and he said he could be here in a couple hours, he would call when he was on the way. He quoted me a price of $165.00. About 1145, Vic called and said would be here in half an hour. About 1215 Vic pulled up. Looked at the door, took it off and said, yes bad rollers. The door is the original one from when the house was built 19 years ago, and never had any work done on it. He replaces the rollers, made sure everything worked, checked the screen also. On the way out he checked our security door, we also had him look at out side door, and got an estimate to have that replaced at a later date. Vic was very friendly and professional, the charge was only $165.00, a real bargain as my husband had hurt his back and was unable to fix it himself. I would recommend Vic to fix your sliding door anything. We were very pleased, we will be calling him back to replace that slide door.

Front entry door wasn't latching properly and was not weather sealed properly. I had previously had an Angie's List "handyman" out who installed an unfortunately chosen weather stripping. Lousy job; the door leaked like a sieve. Heat or cold, whatever you didn't want, came right in, uninvited. Vic installed the correct product and did some adjusting. Now all is well. Additionally, Vic took a look at my back patio glass sliding door. He adjusted and lubricated it to its optimum performance. I would whole-heartedly recommend Vic Potter to anyone except the people I don't like. lol

I am very grateful that Vic responded so quickly. He is very friendly and capable.As another reviewer wrote, he his like your neighbor willing to help. Obviously he is responsive and I would use him again for any door problem.

The guy that came out seemed very knowledgeable and the thing that impressed me was we some areas under the front door, we have a very large, tall front door. The weather striping I guess needs to be replaced and I asked him if the door needed to be taken off and he said that it could be and said guess on less cheaper way to go. He could say yes and it's gonna cost a fortune. So, that's what I like about him.

Vic was there for about 2 hours, worked on the doors the whole time and was very pleasant.

Vic did a great job. He even adjusted my entry door. If you use his services, he does need a phone call the morning of the service to confim. Other people I contacted would not return my call or they were just too busy for my job.

Starting with the dog door, no tools were used to see where electrical line was, resulting in having a poorly caulked drywall cut when needed to install the dog door a few inches over. The security screen door has a large gap at the bottom, allowing bugs to come into the house. The garage door issue was not corrected, and a brush-type door sweep was installed at the bottom of the door that still did not even seal off the gap at threshold, let alone ignoring the door not closing fully. This garage door work Vic said on the phone would be free of charge due to the other work being done. However, after his time on this door he commented he should get something for it, and when walking in the garage looked at things and asked if he could have a particular item in exchange for it. Took a long time to do the jobs and we were glad when he finally left. We would not recommend to anyone.

Initial installation went well, arrived on time, did the work within 30 minutes or so. Several days later the sliding door was sticking again. Provider came out the next day and had to adjust the door and cut off part of the door trim. Gave me a couple of options for future should sliding door fail again as the track is worn out from age. Satisfied with work done. And appreciated options for future.

I received good service and quick response to telephone calls. He came in a timely manner. I feel that I got extremely good value considering everything. Additionally, I asked and he was nice enough to get on a ladder and remove two screens on windows that don't open and they just made the room dark. But, he took it one step further and insisted on washing the windows after he removed the screens. He also noticed that my front door weather stripping was not proper as light was coming through, so he went to the truck and got some special little shims to fix that. There was no hint of extra charges for these things, it was like a neighbor helping out.

He never showed up to the appointment and never called back to reschedule.
