Description of Work: Had a very large slider that would not roll. Came out and in a matter of 20 mins put new rollers in and even fixed my front door for free without asking him to!! What an amazing guy and an great experience.

+ -1 moreVic was courteous and friendly on the phone and willing to come the same day. We agreed on a time and he called to let me know that he was on his way. From his arrival and through out the visit he was very friendly and professional. I enjoyed visiting with him while he worked and he was not at all slowed down or sidetracked and I didn't feel like I was bothering him. I also felt like I didn't need to be there to watch as he worked but he was just so friendly it was hard not to carry on a conversation with him. He didn't waste any time. He knew I had an appointment to get to at a certain time and he made sure that all that was needed to be done to complete the work was done in time. He did not appear to cut corners but was very thorough and even adjusted the screen and fixed a gap in my front door on his way out. I would definitely recommend Vic to anyone of my friends who are needing door work. As we are our own property managers for our homes here in the Valley, I will be keeping his card in my contact files for future reference.
Description of Work: Sliding glass doors would not slide properly. Roller bearings on the underside were ceased up and no longer rolling.

He was efficient, great sense of humor and very particular that the job was done well and we were satisfied. I would use him again and have retained him in my list of go to people

+ -1 moreI played phone tag with Vic for a day, but once we made contact, we set a day and time for the work, and he showed up right on time and got to work. I had a solid wood door that needed to be fitted for my rear entry, and he did an excellent job of planing and adjusting and doing all the things it needed so that it looks and works beautifully. Then he hung the new storm door. The bifold closet doors were a challenge, since the opening was not a standard size, but he made it work and it looks like it's always been there.

Vic came in and entertained us with his quick wit and sense of humor and fixed the door in no time at all. The price quoted is the price we paid. I recommend AAA Door highly.

When we had another issue with our patio door we called him again and he came the next day and quickly assessed the problem and re aligned the door so it opened and closed properly. We are very pleased with his work.
Description of Work: We knew someone had tried to break into our home and the door alignment was out of whack. Vic came and in a short time realigned the door and made adjustments so the door opens and closes properly.

+ -1 moreOur dogs had walloped the sliding door in such a way that it was incredibly hard to slide. The rollers were relatively new (replaced last year), so I thought that we might need a new track. I called Vic this morning and he said he would stop by on the way back from another job. He arrived within the hour. Vic took a look and immediately told us that the track was good and that our rollers were excellent--the door just needed to be adjusted back into place. He made the adjustment and oiled the track and was generous enough to waive the normal trip charge ($75) because he had been in the area. The door works well again, and we are very grateful for the fast service and the good deal. Vic was also very pleasant. We will definitely call him again when we have door/window issues.
Description of Work: Vic fixed the sliding door that opens onto our patio--and he did so WITHIN AN HOUR of our calling him!!!

The same can be said about the front door. The cost was the same as the estimate he had given me over the phone. Vic has a very professional demeanor and I would highly recommend him.

+ -1 moreSo - although I understand Angie's List gives preferences to listing references from those who have had work performed I would caution you that this has been a monstrous waste of my time.
Description of Work: I have had the most unusual/unrewarding/negative experience with this contractor. I joined Angie's List - after a break-in at my home - specifically with the intent of using it to find a contractor to fix the door. After joining - and carefully reading the reviews - I thought Mr. Potter of AAA Doors would be the guy to go to and listed him in my favorites for ease of reference. Approximately 3 - 4 weeks ago I called his work and cell phone numbers and left a short, polite voice mail explaining what I desired (3 jobs to do with doors - all of which were described in others' reviews as being items he had carried out for them) along with my contact details. When I had not heard by the following afternoon I called the cell number and spoke with him. As I surmised he was busy (I enquired) and he said he would get back to me that evening. Since then - nothing. I have called on 2 more occasions over the next week - to no avail. I wondered if - because i have a non-Las Vegas cell phone number if he didnt want to deal with a non-resident customer... So earlier this week I had a friend call him - with an appropriate message etc. Her experience has been that he has not returned her calls either. I am singularly unimpressed by his lack of professionalism and would not recommend him at all.

+ -1 moreI was thrilled he was willing to come out on a Sunday, and returned our call promptly. He arrived on time, and called to let us know he was outside our home. He gave us a price, and stuck with that price. He also accepted our personal check.
Description of Work: Our sliding glass door was a nightmare! It had reached the point that we could hardly open or close the door, the door was not "sliding" anymore. My husband called Vic, who said he would be out the next day. He arrived on time, and worked quickly on the door. He diagnosed the problem as the "roller assembly" and gave us the price. He fixed the door within 20 minutes. He gave us the worn out parts, so that we knew what he had replaced. Vic is wonderful and do not have the least hesitation to recommend him to anyone. He also works on all types of doors, and has suggestions for improving the overall security of your home, and energy conservation through wise door choices. I only wish we had called him sooner instead of struggling with that door for months.

+ -1 moreI could not slide the sliding door. The builder had put some crappy rollers 15 years ago. Now I have steel bearings. I was thrilled with his work. I called him and left a message. He called back. We arranged for him to come on a particular day. He was supposed to come at a particular time. Twenty minutes before the appointed time, he called and I thought he was not coming. He called to say he would be late because he was on the other side of town. I really appreciated that because a lot of people don?t keep us informed when they don?t get here on time. He got here. It was amazing how he dismantled the whole sliding glass door. I wondered how he was going to fix it again. He put brand new rollers on and everything else. He realigned and reattached everything. I was absolutely thrilled. I spent about $160 which is the average price for something like this. He did a good job. He has lived in Las Vegas for umpteen years. He is the owner. I would highly recommend him and if I ever have trouble again with the door, I will go right back and call him. He does all kinds of doors and stuff like that.

+ -1 moreVic called about an hour before arriving at the house. He was prompt and very friendly. Very willing to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Checked with me on the increase in price before doing the additional work. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: Track of sliding glass door was damaged, which meant the door was difficult, and then, impossible to open. Called and described problem. Vic quoted me a price over the phone to place a 'cap' over the track. I wasn't sure that would fix the problem, but was willing to try. Upon arriving at the house and inspecting the problem, Vic determined that it would be better to replace the entire track and I agreed. This greatly increased the amount of work Vic needed to perform, but only increased the price minimally. He completed the project that day and I am completely satisfied with the end result. He also replaced the wheels on the door. It's like we have a whole new door.

Vick stated because it was a double pane door, he could repair it.It was not an easy job, but he completed the task in a professsional mannor. Upon finishing the sliding glass door, I asked Vick a price on installing a screen door. His quote was almost half of what Lowe's price is. Vick is already working on estimate on another job for me. AAA Door Plus is ****AAA****. I will used AAA Door Plus again.

+ -1 moreMy experience with the guy who came out was good. He was fast, nice, easy going, friendly and thorough. He was able to come out the next day itself after I called him. Our slider was stuck and didn?t open. We were wondering as to how he would fix it, but he repaired the rail and put a plastic thing over it. The door looks great now. The price that he charged was very good and the quality of his work was good too.

+ -1 moreSpoke with Victor by phone on Monday and he gave an estimate of the cost and time he would come to do the job. On Tuesday he arrived at 11am just as he said he would. Upon arriving Vic noticed that our house has a stucco bump out surrounding the door and he let me know that it would cost a little extra time and money. Even with this difficulty, Vic did a very nice, clean job with the installation. The price turned out to be $15 over the estimate because of this...very reasonable, considering the time and effort involved. Vic knows what he's doing and we would use his services again.

Description of Work: Vic returned my call within hours and was able to repair a sliding glass door the same day. Vic replaced the rollers.
