Called Vic, the owner yesterday, he came out the next day at 10am as promised, on time and ready to fix our sliding door. He had all his tools with him ready to go (no back and forth to his truck) and proceeded to take apart the slider, replace the broken rollers (which he had) and completed his job in a very timely and clean manner. The slider is actually BETTER than its original condition (aside from the bad rollers)! Thank you to Angie's List and AAA Doors Plus!!

From the time Vic walked into my home, until he left, he was completely professional. He replaced some hardware that had been installed before and was the wrong hardware. Vic also fixed the door locking mechanism upon completion of the roller replacement. I would recommend Vic to anyone needing any door repair. I plan on using Vic again for the front door repair/replacement,

My wife and I never got past the estimate with Vic. He to a few minutes to look at our old door, discuss options with us and give us a verbal estimate and then proceeded to lead himself on a tour of our entire first floor and back yard as though he owned the place. For the first minute or two it was a little weird and then it got downright uncomfortable as he seemed to look at and note every little detail of my house and yard as though he was casing it or something. The experience was extremely unsettling to both my wife and I and, needless to say, we did not contract for his services. His behavior was very unprofessional and I would not recommend him to anyone.

I had a similar experience as other reviewers. He didn't make it to the first appointment due to an emergency, but called right away to reschedule. He also never showed for the next appointment and did not call until the next day to apologize, but he was very apologetic. I did have to take off work to meet him, so this was very inconvenient. I decided not to use his services as he was plainly too busy.

I called to schedule an appointment for a quote on replacing my sliding glass door with french doors. My call was answered, and when I made my request, I was told "yes, we do that" (which I was aware of, hence my phone call) and was asked for my phone number so he could call me back. Well, that return phone call never came (much like the previous reviewer). He was not rude on the phone, but I really would have preferred some honesty by saying that he was not taking any new customers at this time because he was so busy, or whatever the case may be. But to take a phone number and say they will call back but not do so, I find, is unprofessional. I wouldn't think too much about it (mistakes are made and people forget), but because another reviewer reported a similar experience, I thought I should say that it wasn't the only time it happened.

Called to schedule an estimate - Vic was too busy to talk to me when I called; said he would call back later in the day and come out the following week, did neither. Business must be good.... b/c getting a new customer is not a priority.

The technician was on time and did a good job. Their price was fair.

I contacted Vic first to get a price for installing 2 glass sliding closet doors for a new construction house to replace the builder-supplied wood doors. He quoted us a price of $100. per door for installation, which which less than the installation price from either Lowes or Home Depot, where I had planned to buy the doors. After special ordering the doors from Lowes, and their pickup, I contacted Vic again to arrange installation of the doors. We set up a time and, although Vic was a little late, he called to let us know that he was running late. Vic is a very personable individual and was completely professional. He removed the existing doors and did minimal damage to the surrouding paint and plaster. He then installed both doors professionally and made sure that we were satisifed with their being square to the door frame and that they looked the way we wanted. He then repaired the small amount of damage that was done to the paint by removing the original doors. When he finished, the doors looked like they had been installed by the builder. Vic cleaned up all the debris from his work, including taking out the packaging the new doors had come in. To make it even better, since we had no use for the replaced doors, he gave us a fair credit against his bill for our original doors and took them with him. We are completely satisifed with Vic's work and will use him again when we go ahead with replacing several other doors in our house. I would recommend Vic unconditionally to anyone who needs door work done.

Work went very well. Victor was delayed one day. However, he called ahead and scheduled for the very next day. He arrived on time, completed work on all the doors in a professional manner. Doors were all screen doors to the outside. Honest quote and did excellent work.

Vic had great reviews so I decided to use his services. He gave me a great price on replacing large sliding glass patio doors (95 inches wide). He did an excellent job. When he was done the doors looked great. The process of removing the old doors and installing the new ones was achieved with minimal demolition of the existing framing. Other than a bit of touch up paint on the interior and exterior around the edges there is no further work needed - what a relief. I will call him for any future door work needed.

I am a designer, and I brought him up to a client for the estimate. They were very friendly, very nice, and on time, all that was good.

Job was done fast and well Would use AAA door again

Vic show up not long after I called him. meassured the doors and said he would need a few days to order the doors in. He called and made an appointment for Oct 22, 2012 to install the doors. ( about a week from when he had measured the doors.) He arrived a little late but went to work and installed the doors. He was very professional and he new what he was doing. I liked the fact that he saw I had issues with a couple of doors that I was not replacing and took care of those issues. He did not charge much for the extra work. ($20). He was very pleasent and professinal.I would recommend him to a friend.

Our patio door was very difficult to open and close. It required a lot of effort to move it, and when it slid along the track, it sounded as if there was grit in the rollers. The track was also showing wear and had a low spot in it. On top of that, our dog had tried to go through the closed screen door and bent it out of shape so that it was unusable. Vic from AAA Doors Plus came at the appointed time and within 30-45 minutes had replaced th rollers on our patio door and straightened the screen door. Now both doors act like new and can be opened and closed with one finger.

Vic was very professional. He works alone and did a great job. All of the doors work perfectly. He was on time each day, cleaned up afterwards and did a professional job.

Overall experience with AAA Door Plus and Vic Potter was very positive.. We will definately call Vic again for future needs...

Everything was completed without any problems and no delays. Vic is a true professional!! He arrived on time and had all needed repair items so no untimely trips to hardware store. It was a joy to meet someone who enjoys his work and is an expert at what he does. The price was extemely reasonable.

Victor is a perfectionist, he takes pride on his work. He does not care how long it takes to finish his work as long as he is satisfied with what he is supposed to do. At one point, he spent extra time on the final details in order to make things right, but he did not ask for extra compensation. His performance is extraordinary, his price is reasonable. On top of that, he demonstrated a rare professional attitude.

Vic arrived promptly, reviewed the problem, quoted the price and proceeded to do the work. No additional trips to a hardware store were required. Vic had everything he needed to do the job and he did a great job. The door is working better than it did 15 years ago.

Vic was very good to deal with and did excellent work. He quickly responded when I asked for an estimate, made several good suggestions and then gave us a quote. He followed up by putting the quote in writing and sending it to us vix fax. He called me on the morning he was to do the job and gave me a heads up that he was on his way. He did quality work, paying attention to the smallest details, and made sure everything worked properly before he left. My only complaint, and it was minor, was that he didn't take the shutters and I had to get rid of it myself. In his defense, that was not written into the contract. We are very happy with the doors he installed and the care and attention he gave us during the process.

Service was great. Called Victor on Tuesday and he came out the next day. Took him less than 30 min to repair and he gave us step by step instructions on what he was doing. He gave us pointers on what to do to keep doors running smooth and signs of when it's time to replace rollers again. Found out I had the right bearing lube....just putting it in the wrong area.

Vic is a personable guy and did a get job, door is working get..I would definatey recommend and use him again

Vic did extremely nice work for a very reasonable price. He was courteous and punctual. My new security door and repaired door frame look great and everything works as it should. I would highly recommend AAA Doors Plus.

Vic Potter of AAA Doors Plus came out to my rental property on a Saturday. He showed up on time and was professional. He installed two bifold doors and adjusted some other closet doors that were rubbing tightly on the carpet. The doors look great. I would definately use AAA Doors Plus again.
