Description of Work: fixed a sliding glass door that had been installed incorrectly. I chose not to go back to the original contractor. The repair was very well done and made it possible to use the door. I'm very pleased.

Description of Work: As another reviewer has mentioned he took way too much latitude walking around my housing ... opening cabinets that had nothing to do with the requested estimate. It was did feel like he was looking around very inappropriately. I actually told him I had to leave so that he would leave ASAP. Why would I have him secure a door and acquire a lock for my house when I didn't feel I could trust him in the house for 15 minutes. Very odd. Worked with countless contractors and have never had someone walk into rooms and open cabinets that had nothing to do with the assigned task.

Description of Work: We puchaced a new uused entry double doors. Vic worked very hard to get these oversized doors just perfect. Very pleased with his prompt service!!! We will gladly use this company again

Description of Work: Vic came out same day, was thru fixing our security door in under an hour, it had completedly pulled out of the wall. He also fixed it so the door would close properly, we use to have to 'slam' it shut, it works great!! My first review on Angies list, worth every penny for this subscription!!!

Description of Work: Our patio door was becoming extremely hard to close, not so hard opening but very hard closing. He took the entire door out of the track and replaced the track and wheels and other things and explained to my husband what he was doing the entire time. He was very pleasant the entire time and told us upon finishing that if there were any problems he would be back free of charge. Very knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself, we are very pleased.

Description of Work: Vic gave a bid to replace my 6 foot slider with a french door. The bid was for labor only and I wanted to pay less than I would at Lowes or Home Depot or pay for the same cost if he would replace another inside for the same price. Vic charged the same price and he wanted an extra 100 for the inside door. So I would not have saved any money. I found another company on Angies List that was $200.00 cheaper and he was licensed and Bonded and Vic was more intrested in my roomate and getting a hook up with her. In this enconmy I wanted a fair price and save money too

Description of Work: Mr. Potter (owner) returned my phone call and explained what needed to be done and told me to watch out for anyone who may try to fool me about the repairs. His explanation and tone of his voice gave me the signal to have him repair my door problem which was extreme difficulty to lock my front door. Mr. Potter arrived at about 30 minutes after the call and within 5 minutes had the problem solved. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, very professional, clean worker, and most important came across as a genuine human being. I also feel that I now know someone who is able to help me or direct me to others who would be able to solve any house related problem. Without a doubt, this was a wonderful find during this Christmas season.
