I have used A Pane in the Glass several times. They are awesome! My husband and I have dealt with both Chad (the owner) and Patrick. They are very punctual and if something comes up and they are running late, they always let us know well in advance. They usually only send one person but they are fast and detailed. My windows look almost non existent by time they are through with them! Love these guys and will continue to use their services.

He was real good. We set it up for about a week later. He did call and ask if he could have an extra couple of days because, he had another job. I was charged what I was quoted. It was just one guy. He was very professional and seemed to know what he was doing. He was in normal clothes, clean, and he covered his shoes. He had a headband over his head so he didn't get dirty. He laid a tarp down, so that my floors didn't get dirty. I think it could have been a little bit cheaper. I lit a fire the next day or two and it worked fine. I had hazard concerns before, after he was done, I wasn't worried.

It take a long time and I called them up and they couldn't come. They did do the work. It wasn't what I expected but it was okay. Actually, they did not include the lullaby windows so I decided to just do whatever it is that is suppose to be included. They didn't include the screens. The screens are all dirty. But they said it's not included. It's been a month or so, I think. I was not please with the fact that everything was disclosed. I think about certain number of windows only not including the screens. Actually, they just cleaned the windows down in the first floor. They didn't do the second floor though. I'm not gonna use them again.

I not only will use them in the future, but also asked for their cards to give out to my friends and neighbors. I have clean windows after a long time, because my previous window cleaner moved, and I didn't want to have someone without recommendations, especially being an older woman living alone. With Angie's List, I feel safer.

Last winter we had a problem with our gas fireplace not drafting properly. So I hired A Pane in the Glass to check and clean the chimney. Soon after I purchased the deal, Chad, the owner of the company, contacted me and we set a date for the service, which conveniently happened to be the next Saturday. I explained why we hired him; i.e., to resolve the problem with our poorly drafting chimney. He explained all the possible causes and then started the cleaning. He was very careful to cover up the carpeting and nearby furniture. As he cleaned, he determined that the likely cause of our poorly drafting chimney was that the fireplace wasn't deep enough. So he arranged the fake fireplace logs in such a way as to direct the flames toward the back of the fireplace. All things considered, I was very pleased with this service. Chad was knowledgeable about chimneys and fireplaces, and I believe that the problem I hired him to resolve will be taken care of.

Chad and his partner came to my home and they both start right in washing. Chad has the experience and background for cleaning the 2 sided gas fireplace chimney and glass. Chad started dismantling the fireplace glass on both sides and than brought in the the dry vac and attached to opening inside the fireplace that is the bottom of the chimney opening. Chad placed a large drop cloth on the floor next to the fireplace and extended out to the floor where my area rug is located. He turned on the dry vac and than went on the roof with the chimney sweep brushes to clean the walls of the chimney. When done with the chimney, Chad took the two panes of glass to the fireplace outside for cleaning. In the meantime, his partner has finished the windows in the front of the Casita and the front and back of the house working on the final side where the family room and kitchen are located. They checked their work for any streaking and asked if I was satisfied with the work done. I than gave Chad a check for the work done and he said he would be in touch with me in December but if I needed his services before that time to give him a call. Having my windows cleaned and the fireplace is a real treat and a service that I really do appreciate and look forward to having done. The Nevada heat is too much for me and having A Pane in the Glass handle this chore puts a smile on my face. In addition, it allows me to enjoy the view of my backyard from several rooms. The windows stay clean looking for several months, so I don't have this service done monthly. These guys don't waste any time and use a generous amount of cleaning solution on the glass and screens. I did not have the inside of the windows cleaned as I will be having remodeling work done to my kitchen. I have had A Pane in the Glass clean both inside and out in the past and will have it done on their next visit in December or January.

Chad Hughes was a pleasant surprise. He's originally from Chicago so he seemed to really know his way in and around a chimney. We asked him a million questions and he answered knowledgeably and honestly and gave us several options for what to do with our fireplace with pros and cons for each option. We thought his demeanor was very professional. He's a straight shooter with a confident way about him and he made us feel secure about the decisions we made with our fireplace. He agreed to come out on a Sunday evening when it was convenient for us and he stayed a good 30-45 minutes. He charged us $75 for the inspection though we felt it was more than an inspection given that he took down the plaster, cleaned and gave us recommendations and answered our many questions. We live in the Downtown area in an older home. He rode his bicycle over from a few miles away to save gas but also drives a work truck for jobs outside of the Downtown area. He's clean-cut and presents himself well. We believe he may know more than many of the other chimney services we called for help. We were recommended to him by our historic neighborhood association. We appreciate his candor, knowledge and massive help. Well worth the $75 inspection fee and we will definitely call on him in the future for our chimney maintenance needs.

He made sure there were no streaks. All windows are sparking clean now. Showed up on time and completed work efficiently. This is the third time I have had this service performed by the company (they also do chimney sweeping which I've had done one by them, also did a great job).

We hired A Pane in the Glass to clean clean all of the windows and patio door, inside and out, and also the black sunscreens. Chad did a great job. I have never seen the sunscreens so clean. They really and quot;popand quot; off the house. Two months later, they still look like they were cleaned yesterday. If I have one gripe, is that he was really sloppy on the patio and didn't clean up after himself very well. My colored patio cement and glass patio table had numerous soap spots that I had to hose off before they dried and stained. Otherwise, Chad was fast and efficient! I would hire him again.

Everything went great overall. The job was done entirely as promised and I was very pleased with the outcome!
