The employee was punctual and polite which were the only good things about this service call. I had gotten an over the phone quote the day before, assuring me that the cost was going to be only $49.95 per 2 rooms, which made the cost about $100 for 4 rooms. When the employee showed up, he proceeded to clean the first carpet then came and told me to look at the difference between the cleaning for what was quoted to me over the phone (which he then explained was only steam cleaning and not very effective at all), and the deep cleaning with the safe chemicals, which was going to cost me more than what I was told the day before for the steam cleaning. I told him that I was not made aware of the different cleaning techniques and that there would be a price difference to actually have my carpets cleaned well. He said that the difference should have been explained to me over the phone. The spot where he showed me the example of the "real" cleaning was right smack in the middle of the carpet so it was completely clean and the rest of my carpet was dingy...therefore I had to make the decision to get the rest of my carpet cleaned that day for the higher price or have AOne carpet leave and get another company to clean my carpet on another day, and live with my carpet the way it was in the meantime. I should have told the employee to leave right then and there and not paid them a cent. I ended up going against my intuition and having him clean all 4 carpets as was planned, at double the price from what I was quoted in the first place. The carpets looked clean enough when they were wet but when my light colored carpet dried, all of the stains were still there and they seemed worse because he had wet them but didn't even try to remove them. I called the company a few days later with my complaint about the spots all still being on my carpet and the man I spoke to assured me that he would get back to me that same day to make an appointment to re-do the carpet at no charge but he has not called back and I ended up cleaning the spots myself. This is a terrible company to work with and I knew I should have trusted my instinct and not worked with them as soon as I recognized they were doing the "bait and switch." HIGHLY dissatisfied.
