I was extremely pleased with the service. When I first called him, I ended up having to set aside the money for a while. He had no problem with that, and his quote didn't change. It was a perfect outcome. He went beyond the call of duty in his service.

Peter was outstanding to work with. One of the most professional tradesmen I have ever worked with. Service was quick and completed on time. The crew that worked on our home was excellent. Entire house done in one day and done completely. Peter made sure every single detail was completed. Crew was very helpful and listened to our requests. His prices were fair and in line with other painters. What was most outstanding was his service and how he treated us. I would highly recommend him. Peter and his crew were 100% professional. Having any work done on a home is stressful. Peter made this a completely stress-free experience.

The A&P guys were very professional, responsive to our questions and punctual. We has a heavy rain 2 days after the repair. The leak is gone-Success.

Met with us on time for the proposal meeting. Had a bid to us quickly, and worked with us on pricing. Began work immediately, and finished when he said he would (if not sooner). Was in constant contact with me about color options and process, and walked the job with me when finished, and addressed a few areas that needed touch up right on the spot.

Peter Reid came to our house on July 10 and gave us an estimate for the job. His estimate was the lowest of 3 estimatesed we got. We decided go ahead with the project. Peter's cres came on July 13 morning to power wash the house first. They arrived on time and finished the power wash in about three hours. Then on July 15 they arrived at 6am and started taping the windows and floors and later began to rpray paint the exterior walls and sanding down the fascia borads, primed and then painted They completed the job by late afternoon and cleaned up. There were a couple of rough spots on our front door. They will come back later to sand down the rough spots, and repaint. We are very satisfied with their job and will recommend them to our friends.

I called A & P Painting and Roofing and left a message for Peter Reid, the owner, to ask for a quote to fix our tiled patio roof. He called back and appologized for not being able to come out for a few days as he was in California attending to personal family business but that he would call as soon as he got back to set up an appointment ... which he did. We had a very pleasant first meeting where he checked out the patio roof and told us what needed to be done. I also told him that other than the rave reviews he got from other Angie's List members, I called his company because I also wanted to inquire about having our house exterior painted and that it sounded like a good idea to have everything done at the same time ... the roofing repairs and the painting. He checked out the house and told us what he would be doing and gave us a written quote. Being that we had HOA covenants to follow, the paint colors had to first be approved by the Architectual and Landscape Committee and as soon as that was cleared, Peter set things in motion. We were introduced to Hector, the lead crew member of the painters. When the 4 member crew completed the paint job, we did a "walk around" to make sure that everything was done as promised. Peter and his son worked on our roof and that too was completed as promised. They all did a fantastic job ... very neat and thorough and they were so accomodating and pleasant to work with. If you want a trouble free and satisfied job done, don't hesitate to call Peter at A & P Painting and Roofing. He will work with you, answer any questions you might have and best of all, do an excellent job for you.

The responded immediately and came out and did the bid immediately. I just went with another company because of availability. They like their work.

Peter had his staff were prompt & efficient from beginning to end. He showed us several samples & combinations, and was very patient with all our questions. They powerwashed everything, fixed stucco dents & cracks, painted & cleaned up perfectly. We were very happy with the service and the price.

Peter came out and looked over the work and gave me a quote on the spot. He is very affable and helpful with a lot of knowledge and experience to share. There were four guys in the crew and they prepped and painted the house in a single day. All of them were friendly and professional. They patched many dings in the stucco from golf balls, and I would be hard pressed to find the dings now! Peter came by several times to check on the job, and took no payment until the work was done and I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend him, and will certainly use A&P again.

It went great! They were able to quote and schedule the work to be done before the other guys I called were able to do a quote. They were right on schedule, work looks good and they cleaned up , leaving things tidy.

Peter is honest, efficient, fairly priced, and competent. He did everything he said he would do and more. I would highley recomend this company for anyone looking for painting or roof work.

They had to come back twice. It was a pleasant experience but the first time they did not complete it. They came out when they said they were going to. I thought they did a thorough job. They repaired everything the second time, no leaks. I liked the people. The price was in line with the other people I called.

Peter of A&P is Great! He came out , took the time with me, told me how much it would cost. We scheduled a date to do work. He was on time and finished the work that day like he said he would. I asked him to check the the overall roof to see if I needed any other repairs. He did and made some minor repairs but didn't even charge me. I would highly recommend this company.

Everything went smoothly. Peter's crew did a fine job, and I'm pleased with the results.

Pressure washed the exterior of the home first before starting job. Worker's started work at 0700 hrs sealing outside windows and began to check for stucco damage and they repaired them. The staff then hand sanded trimmings on the house. They began to paint exterior of house, doors & stucco popouts. All were in the color scheme I chose which was presented to me by Peter Reid. A & P contractor Peter Reid checked his staff's work and he and I checked the home together. The staff were knowlegable of their craft & answered questions when asked. A & P Roofing & Painting Company did a beautifu job.

The complete job was excellent and the price was reasonable Initial interview with owner of company proved to be very informative..Contract was presented and explained in lay terms. All aspects of contract were met along with some issues that came up while job was in progress. At no extra charge. Excellent company to do business with.

Called a few roofing companies for estimates. Pete came out the same day I called. Inspected the roof, took pictures advised of problem and provided price. Appointment scheduled to have work completed, Pete was on time and completed the repair. Highly recommend this company and have already given his card to a friend and a family member.

I contacted Mr Peter Reid about the work that I needed done. He came to my house and inspected the roof and the area where it was leaking. He advised me what need to be done and gave me an estimate for what needed to be done. We agreed on the price and I told him that I would contact him when I wanted the work done. I contacted him on Monday October 29th and we agreed that he would do the work in the afternoon. Overall I was ver satisfied with the whole process.

They were here on time and were very fair with the price. They called to check the next day that the roof was not leaking as it was raining. Pete was very knowledgeable.

Peter was fast and efficient. He got us a quote the same day I called. He came out and repaired our roof over the next two days. He gave great service, and he did great work.

We had a wonderful experience working with Peter Reid at A&P Painting and Roofing. We discovered the water leak in our roof and tried to reach a roofer in short order and Peter was so responsive and was able to come out that same day to see what the problem was. He was able to come out the next day to do the work and fixed the issues quickly and thoroughly. It was a pleasure to work with Peter and his company!

They did a very good job. I was very happy with them. I was very pleased with them. They were right on top with their responsiveness. When I called them, I got an estimate. They power washed the house in one day, cleaned everything, finished stucco work fast and the next day they painted it. I wasn't out here when they did it but he called when he was going to do it and he called when he was done.

They had accidentally spilled paint in my pool, the owner himself drained my pool and power washed the whole thing. They stand by their work which is already quality.

I called A&P Painting and Roofing 4/5/12 early afternoon. Peter Reid the owner showed up within a half hour of my phone call. He was kind, professional and very knowledgeable on painting. He recommended what type of paint I should use and what services that are included in his estimate for $2000.00. After evaluating the other contractors that I called, I decided to choose Pete because of his knowledge, price and super award on angie's list. Thank god I did. The crew came out on two day process. One day they power washed and the second day they painted. The crew was on time and very professional and efficent. Peter would check in from time to time make sure everything was going well. After said and done, it turned out great. The paint Peter recommended me for the exterior was excellent choice. The crew working for him, performed great quality painting, masking off everything, and cleaning up after themselves. I was very happy with the results. I would definitely hire them again.
