A-1 STUCCO, INC.

The person came out and gave us a quote of $400 to repair a patch of stucco on the outside of our home (size about 4 inches by 4 inches). My husband got him down to way less (can't remember how much). Then he never showed. Husband called him and he set up another date and the guy never showed. Needless to say, we didn't end up following up again. Lousy response and service.

Sam and the guys were very attentive to every concern of mine. The finished product is fantastic, and everything was done exactly as stated

On 1/29/06, I signed a contract with them to stucco my home & gave them a $1,000 deposit. Mr. Sam Erthel said that it would take three days to complete the job. Being unfamiliar with the stucco process, I accepted his word on the time-line & planned my schedule accordingly. I arranged to take a two-week vacation from my job in CA so I could prepare the house & oversee the stucco work being done. I had to return to work by 3/27, which gave A-1 Stucco a full week from the beginning date of 3/20 until 3/27 to complete the job after I finished the prep work. Nothing was said about the complete halt in work while statements were being mailed & my checks were to be mailed back to them for the increment payments. I called them about the slow process & my need to return to CA prior to the curing of the stucco I had to do & even though they agreed to do the curing themselves, this timetable was not acceptable. I did not want to send them more money at this point.

A-1 did a very good job initially and said that any repairs needed within a year would be included in his price. However, after a few months, when it needed repair, we called three times and spoke to the owner's son. His father called back once and said he'd be out, but never showed up. That was about six months ago.
