A-1 Sprinklers

My landscaper who installed the sprinkler system couldn’t figure out how to fix the leakage. Joe at A-1 Sprinklers took one look at it and said “That’s easy to fix!” Sure enough he replaced a valve and the leak dried up. The pop up sprayers on the lawn back splashed on my wall and were starting to erode the wall. Joe replaced a few bad ones and also adjusted the water flow so they no longer splashed on my walls. He then looked at the emitters on my 5 year old system and found many to be clogged. He replaced all 129 of them with new more efficient emitters. These new emitters are also much easier to unclog. He then adjusted the Rain Bird automation assuring each zone would get the proper amount of water. Joe has the expertise and knowledge do get the job done. From now on he will be in charge of my sprinkler system, checking in on it once a year to make sure it’s in top condition.

Joe and Cory arrived at the time designated and started with digging up the old sprinkler systems and replaced with new. Replaced old valves with new ones and replaced the timer clock. Rock and the bedding dirt was delivered and they wheelbarrow all to the designated areas. I was so impressed with these two young men - they really worked hard. After they got done with placing all the rock and dirt, they mowed the lawn and reseeded and mulched all areas that needed to be done. They sprayed the rock, dirt, and cleaned the entire backyard plus side and front yard. It looks great. Joe said that he would come back in a month and check everything out, however, if I had any problems, just give him a call. I would definitely use A-1 Sprinklers again - and will for all my sprinkler and lawn care. I would give them a rating of A+ Sally Canada

Joe was very punctual, arriving 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Very nice guy, conversational and knowledgeable in his field. He replaced a couple of heads for me to help some of my dying plants and educated me on the irrigation timer and schedules.

GREAT! The yard looks better than it did before they arrived. They completely dug up old rotting hoses, replaced them, and changed it to one system instead of 3. They also dug in order to put new hoses in deeper (part of why I was having constant leaks). Owner Joe set up the timers and showed me how to change it for different seasons. They also added irrigation for my potted plants, so I no longer have to lug my hose out 3 times a week to water those. Also advised that some plants were getting too much water. Very nice, professional and good people. I would definitely recommend them.

I saw this company's $49 promotion and thought I'd give them a call to estimate a broken sprinkler repair (it's just a drip system but I've got a geyser in one area). Their website advertises free estimates. When I called, I was told that it would be a minimum of $55 just to come out and look. FALSE ADVERTISING. I checked their website again before I wrote this, and it still says free estimates. The whole thing makes no sense. I can pay $49 for a tune up or $55 for an estimate. I would not deal with this organization under any circumstance. If they lie about free estimates, why would I trust anything they say or do?

Do NOT get this "deal". What could have happened BAD did. I have now spent in the range of $500.00 getting the mistakes FIXED. The guy put in the cheapest sprinkler heads available, the incorrect heads, the inappropriate ...etc. Oh, and charged me for everything on top of the "deal" price. This is in the fine print, but he didn't say, "oh, by the way, I'm going to put in new heads and this is the price"... Because of these errors/mistakes, my lawn died before my (new) lawn person could get a handle on the mistakes. In the end, almost all heads had to be replaced and much of the lawn reseeded. Bummer. Oh, and the guy left behind his cleaning tool. I did inform the company that the item was here but never heard from them again. Bottom line: skip the "deal". It isn't. Oh, and the landscape company I DID find thru this crappy site? The best. The very best. The Landscape Helper. I think that "Angie's List" is probably like "Betty Crocker"...a made up name with false and misleading advertisements. ONE good company out of 5.

When Joe arrived, he was prompt and attentive. He went over everything he was doing and walking me through the steps he performed. He was able to get the drip system on and also fixed a leak in the backyard. He also walked me through setting the program clock and made it easy to understand. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has irrigation needs and am also contemplating doing a whole new drip system with them. The only reason I didn't give them straight A's is because Joe arrived about an hour late because his jobs ran later. Not a bad problem to have when you have a big customer base. Great job Joe!

I have used A-1 Sprinkler for 10 years or more..as always they have been wonderful. I can't say enough about this company, they are the best !!!!! I will continue to use their services for as long as I have any need..Wonderful to have reliable service!!

Joe did thorough work, Make sure our irrigation system is functioning at its best. He replaced 10 broken watering heads and one popups. Also found a bad leak and fixed it. Joe is skillful, courteous and patient.

Very satisfied. Joe was prompt, efficient and very professional. He added drips for all of my plants and even put in drips for my perennials that can be easily turned off for winter.

It started out with him calling asking if it was ok if he came 10 minutes early. I said of course! He checked out the system and found 9 leaks. He fixed them all, at an amazing price, and also showed me how to set up the sprinkler times..and how much to water now, and for other times of the year. He was quick, courteous and gave me what I thought was a great deal. He also gave me an estimate on having the whole system redone, since the original system is getting old and cracking, and also was not set up properly. The estimate was almost 10% of what a neighbor told me they were given for a complete redo. Very impressed with this young man and his business. I would recommend him to anyone!!

Sprinklers and timer were checked. I have sprinkler heads continually leaking now . I did not have a problem prior to service. However, the technician arrived on time.

Joe called to let me know he was 20 min from being at our house and verify we were home. When he arrived he explained what he'd be doing and got right to it. He tested the back yard sprinklers and replaced some sprinkler heads to ensure more of the lawn was getting watered. He also checked for leaks, found one on one of our drip lines and quickly fixed it. He explained that most of our sprinkler heads were clogged and not the same type so they didn't provide the same rate of flow to each plant. He explained why that could cause pressure problems and uneven watering (which was shown by plants that were getting less water than others by their dryer leaves). He gave me some suggestions on the type of sprinkler heads to get at Star Nursery (which would save me money compared to him replacing all the sprinkler heads himself since it would take him longer and the cost per head would be more than if I bought 100 of them myself). He also set up the front and back timers to allow more water to soak deeper into the lawn and plants and explained what timer settings to use at different times of year. Overall, he provided great service, gave me a lot of extra info to help us keep our sprinklers working well and our plants / lawn watered efficiently. I highly recommend using Joe if you need work on your sprinklers or lawn.

Joe came out on time and repaired the leaks with no additional cost to me other than the big deal price. He was friendly, and courteous. I was very pleased I would highly recommend this provider

The guys got here as scheduled and went right to work on adjusting the sprinklers. When they saw the low pressure on one section in the back, they found that it had been piggybacked on another zone. I told them that another contractor had done that, due to a wiring issue which caused it's zone to go dead in the box. Told them I'd gladly pay if they knew how to fix it, so we went beyond the $49 Big Deal for sprinkler adjustment and they made the repair. Could not be happier with the service! Joe knows what he's doing and does outstanding work. I highly recommend them and will utilize them again when the need arises.

I had an old timer that needed to be replaced, plus a bunch of sprinkler heads needed replacement and a few leaks were fixed. The additional work was about $350. The only reason for the C on punctuality is that they did not show up for the second appointment due to a scheduling mix-up. I called and they arrived shortly thereafter. They did a nice job and I would use them again.

He was absolutely terrific. He had an online special going on. The experience was terrific. I showed him what our problems were and he was right on it with everything. He was very knowledgeable. He had an assistant with him. It was about 10 am by the time he got here and he was out here about an hour in the heat getting all our sprinklers repaired and getting everything going good. I thought it was a terrific deal so I kept his card and we will use him again. Joe did a terrific job.
