A-1 Sprinklers

We were very pleased with the service. They were on-time and professional.

Joe responded to my request for the Bid Deal of 5 tons of rock, delivered and installed and discussed the job thoroughly. He suggested (and I heartily agreed) that the 20 year old sprinkler system needed to be replaced, as it had started springing multiple leaks. i Joe and Corey arrived promptly to start the job, worked h****** the sprinkler system, ripped out all the old pipe and heads, replaced all, and put the heads where they needed to be. Also changed out system slightly in veg. garden to make it easier to deal with. The following day they had the 5 tons of rock delivered, and installed it where it needed to be in both front and back yards. My yard now looks as good as new They were both friendly, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I've used Joe before. He is always punctual. He usually goes above and beyond to get here when I'm having trouble. He was here exactly when he said he would be. He did the work and did everything like he was supposed to. I've since called him back for other things. He is usually pretty busy. But, he is usually available within two days and sometimes the same day. I've called him on emergencies before and he has come right over. He always seems happy. He has got a great personality. He always fixes whatever and I don't have a problem with it again. Usually his prices are extremely fair. It's always Joe who comes out to do the work but on this visit, with the special deal, he had someone else with him because they checked all the sprinkler system.

I have not heard from this company regarding the deal I purchased. I would like for them to contact me so that I can give a better review.

Everything went really well. They quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem, they showed a bit early, and they did a good job with the repairs because I haven't had any further issues with the system.

They arrived on time and got to work. They appeared to have fixed the leaks, repaired broken sprinklers and drippers, and checked it all out, then set the timer appropriately. Within days things leaked. They had promised to show me how the timer works and did not. I have to shut everything off to stop the leaks at 2 properties! Both places A-1 did their alleged sprinkler tune up, had problems. I tried numerous times to get them to come back out, but no response whatsoever. I was ripped of. What's worse is I tipped them extra, and shook their hands! Scammers Do Not Hire these schiesters!

I had a bad water leak from the irrigation line. When I called to ask about having that fixed and using a coupon for the full sprinkler tuneup, the initial contact was great. She walked me through turning off the water just to the irrigation system. Even though they were not able to come right away I figured it was worth it to still use them since the water wasn't leaking anymore. I am sure glad I did! The owner came out with another person helping, very knowledgeable, just a great experience. Fixed all the problems quickly, advised on possible future problems but I was not pressured at all to do any unnecessary repairs. Walked me through the timer. I would totally use them again and recommend anyone to use them.

They were about an hour late. Came and looked at the sprinkler system and said they couldn’t perform the service till Saturday.

Very competent and experienced. Found future problems I might encounter and performed preventive measures at no additional cost! Use this service...

I was so glad we called them - they were very effective and getting my system up and working before spring. They also found a broken line which we would not have noticed until the water was running in the street and it would have taken me hours to find - I can't say enough good things about this firm and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Both the office and the technician were professional and polite. Joe was very knowledgeable, answering all of our questions, showed us how to set the timer, and explained why we were overwatering. This will cut our watering bill in half this summer! I will have them come back for an annual service next year.

Joe is just awesome! He came out on Saturday and was able to start work right then and there to fix our water leak. A water detection company came out the day before and was ready to charge us $1000! Joe not only fixed our leak he saved us big bucks and we are so grateful! He was able to fix our problem in an hour and a half! He is a very honest and hardworking guy. We will be using him as our go to landscape guy from now on! Thank you so much Joe!

Day one of the two day project was devoted to cleaning up our front and back yards, removing all plants, debris, entire sprinkler system and existing plants. On day two Joe took us to a local nursery where we picked out our new plants. The rest of the second day included planting, watering, completed clean up, and showing us how to use the new sprinkler system. Joe and his associate showed up on time. Were knowledgeable, professional, and hard working.

We decided to go with the Angie's special from A-1, and couldn't be more happier with the service we received. Joe was absolutely fantastic! I knew before he came out that we had two separate leaks in our system, but was amazed when Joe found five! He repaired all the leaks and tested the repair before moving on to the next one. One was tough to trace the line, and others were tough to get to due to some spiny bushes on top of them, but he made sure to get to them and do the repair. He also is very knowledgable of what he does. I had no clue that you should water your lawn differently from your plants, and Joe took the time to explain how to best water each and setup our timer correctly for us. I would also commend him for his customer service. He arrived only a few minutes late, but had the common courtesy to call beforehand to let me know. He took the time to explain any questions we had about our system, and what to look for to detect further problems. Also his prices are very good! I would recommend A1 to anyone that has sprinkler issues, or just needs to have their system checked out. A-1 lives up to their name in providing A-1 service!

Great job, and gave me a reasonable estimate to completely replace old system with low pressure drip irrigation which I plan to begin in the spring.

Joey was very nice, professional. ..although I can't justify my belief that the work was done to my satisfaction or that the system really needed replacing, and my primary issue was not fixed... I believe in giving everyone my "fair share" and hold no ill will towards Joey, but I was disappointed.

I placed my order for the Big Deal and didn't hear from A-1 Spinklers for almost two weeks. It wasn't until I contacted them to cancel the order that I finally heard from them. They offered to still do the service, but by then I was just fed up with the whole thing.

I have never had an irrigation system in my yard before, Joe took the time to explain the system, zones and controller to me also he showed me how to set my controller for the different times of the year. Very professional. When I'm ready to replace my system next year I will return to A-1 sprinklers to do the job.
