4 All Carpet Cleaning

The house was not considerably dirty but they were told during the initial phone call that we wanted it to sparkle and asked if their price would include cleaning the windows, window sills, baseboards, walls and so on and were told yes they work with realtors all the time. They also provided the carpet cleaning and said they would remove and place new padding under the carpet in the walk-in closet as well as treat the pet stain. They were told the size of the house as well. The day of the cleaning they were supposed to arrive at 2pm got a call at 2:30 that they couldn't find the house as their GPS was giving wrong directions. Had to give my address again. They finally arrived at 3:30pm with 2 guys that were supposed to clean and shampoo the carpet in a 3200 sq foot house which struck me as odd, but let them have at it. I told them they didn't have to clean the walls or windowsills in any of the bedrooms as they had just been painted over the last 2 days. They started with cleaning the bathrooms upstairs and were done fairly quickly. They then proceeded to the kitchen and spent about 2 hours in there. At that point they started with the carpet cleaning as it was getting late and didn't want the neighbors to complain about the noise the machine in their van was making. They went through the house with a scrubber first then moved on to the vacuum part of it. They somehow managed to clean the entire carpet in about 4 hours which I found odd since in a house of that size I thought should have taken longer. Also had to ask them to clean the back of the doors and windowsills as they had not done that yet. The door jams were also still dirty as were the towel racks and walls and the windows, all things we were told they would clean, so I'm not sure what they were cleaning when they said they were. When they were done it was late and very humid in the house and since we have not moved in yet left. We went back a week later to start moving some things into the house at which point we noticed that the carpet was crunchy in spots meaning they didn't get out all the chemicals. Also found that there was still grease on the cabinets above the microwave. The backs of the doors were still dirty as were the door jams. The walls also hadn't been cleaned as they promised. Also found that some things under the sink notably trash bags we had brought over and a full can of granite cleaner and a scrub brush, and in one of the drawers there were some spare light bulbs as well as a spare sprinkler head that were now gone. Called the company the next day to tell them about these issues to which we were told you only got a basic cleaning and our people don't take things you must be mistaken. All these items were there before they arrived and gone when they left. We were also told that because we didn't tell them within 2-3 days after there was nothing they could do (they own the business) It is my fault I went with someone that was cheaper then the rest I should have known better but at the same time when I pay for a service I expect a service to be performed. They did get the cat urine smell out of the carpet which is about the only thing they did correctly. I would never use them again and would suggest no one else does either.
