Description of Work: Ground down repaired substantial cracks, resurfaced cool deck for patio and around pool. Also coordinated with a pool surface contractor to remove pebble tech surface at waterline and spa and replace with tile. He provided name and quote for colleague who did tile work. When he discovered a severely cracked step in spa, recommended replacement and managed work for a very reasonable price.

Description of Work: Ultimate Concrete acid washed, ground damaged sections of deck where needed, for both our pool deck areas. They then retextured, sprayed, and applied xcel deck surface resin top coat to the entire surface and broadcast an anti-slip agent into the topcoat. They cleaned-up and left a perfectly beautiful pool area for us.

Description of Work: Ultimate Concrete completed cool deck modifications as part of our pool total makeover. They did a fantastic job from the initial plan to the final step. Mr. Kurt Haas was the man with the plan for Ultimate. We had an issue (a year later) with some rust spots coming through the deck near our spa. Kurt send a repairman out the next day to take care of the discrepancy. UPDATE; 19 Jan 2016. The latter part of 2015 we discovered some cool deck cracking in two areas around the spa. Kurt dispached a repairman and he promptly repaired the cracks and applied fresh cool deck material over the repair. It's invisible. Service after the sale is rare these days. Ultimate is indeed the ultimate in craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Description of Work: Ultimate Concrete helped me to redo our concrete and cool deck (pool area) 1. They bubble wrapped the pool twice to protect the pool from debris. 2. They ground all existing coating to bare surface. 3. Acid Etch and power wash the entire surface. 4. Repaired any concrete areas as necessary. 5. Respray and re-texture all concrete coatings. 6. Detailed all the concrete. 7. Applied a top coat to the entire deck. 8. Cleaned up and removed all debris. Work was performed on driveway, garage, entryway, back patio, pool area all about 3550 sqft total.

Description of Work: Down stairs floor were re stained.

Description of Work: Removed old tile from the backyard patio, cleaned up surface for preparation and laid down a textured concrete surface. They also repaired and repainted a stucco wall in the back.

Description of Work: This company was recommended by the sales person from another contract (pool repastering) to "resurface" the cool deck around my swimming pool. My pool deck was cracked and flaking off the surface treatment. The Ultimate Contrete sales person described in detail what he was going to do and their price was in the ballpark to another company's bid. I agreed and we signed a contract. They asked for half the money up front and I wrote them a check for $925. However, the limit by Nevada law is 10% of total cost (to a maximum of $1000.) Secondly, the sales person's math was bad and he asked for too little. The work was planned in advance to immediately follow the "prep" work being done by the contractors assigned to my pool replastering. I called when the pool was prepped and two guys showed up a few days later. They acid washed my concrete deck with a pressure washer and then chipped up the cool deck surface treatment in the spots where it was most worn. Then they used a hand-held mud gun to apply new knock-down over the spots where they had chipped up the old. True to name, they troweled the knock-down to make a surface sort of like the rest of the original pool deck. The owner, Mark Davis, showed up at the work site and he made some comments here and there to the workers. Then they painted the whole pool deck with a sand colored acrylic paint. That evening Mr. Davis returned to the house. I showed him the joys of Angie's List. He asked for the remaining payment and I complied. The whole group cleaned up and left, leaving behind a giant can of the paint for me "to do repairs myself when they were needed." The next day, in direct sunlight, I could see where the repairs had been done because white nitre was seeping through the paint. I called and Mr. Davis sent another guy out to repaint the deck. The second guy used a dirty roller and basically glued all sorts of yard detritus down onto the deck. I now have a deck with scattered permanent pine needles and lumps of old paint. A month later I have spots where the paint has flaked off. Finally, the spots where they repaired the cool decking look nothing like the rest of the surface treatment.
