+ 0 morePersonally recommended by a Angie's List advisor. I tried to contact SWF over a period of weeks by telephone, business email, and Angie's List email. No response. When I would call (several times), I would get their answering machine with options. I left messages twice on the voice mail of the person who took requests for estimates. I then left messages on the voice mail of their receptionist. No response.
Description of Work: Large circular concrete driveway removed and a new driveway poured. Install a glass door on a fireplace in a stone wall. Based on other estimates, these jobs will run about $20,000.

Description of Work: In July 2015, I had work done in my backyard, I had pavers installed and had stucco put on my concrete walls, I also had the walls painted. |The pavers came out great, the walls not so much. When they applied the stucco on the walls they dropped the concrete all over the river rocks that surround my property. What a mess but I let it go, I figured I would just turn them over once all of the work had been completed .Disappointed that they didn't cover them as they did when they sprayed the stucco walls. Who knows? Anyway after they painted the walls and completed the job I noticed that there were spots that they missed. I figured no problem; they left the extra paint so I would just touch up those spots with a paint brush. As time went on I noticed that more and more spots began to develop and the paint began to flake off of the walls. This was disturbing to me so I called Ashley from SWF. Since I had paid the invoice as soon as it was sent to me I thought that this would be taken care of in a timely manner. |They called me to set up an appointment so they could come to assess the problem. They were supposed to come on 8/31 and I told them that my sister would be visiting from NJ so if they were going to correct the problem that day it would not be convenient. They said they would just be coming to look at it. I said ok. They never showed up. They did not come for approximately 2 weeks later. 2 of the workers came and looked at the walls and said that their supervisor or foreman would have to come to look at it. That was the middle of September. I have yet to hear from anyone from SWF; it is almost the middle of October. I know if they did not receive payment for the job they did they would be all over me. That is not my style; you do the job you get paid for it. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them the chance to make this right, I know people are busy and things happen but this is a little ridiculous now. |So bottom line I am really disappointed in the customer service that I have not received. It is not my style to be a complainer. Angie's List has contacted me numerous times to see how satisfied I was with the work that was done. I did not reply because I wanted to give them the opportunity to make this right. Since they have not I now feel that I do not have a choice. |I don't blame Angie's List because you only know what we tell you, had they done a good job I would have recommended them. There is not a chance of that happening now. I would not bad mouth them but I would never recommend them. To this day they still have not contacted me. |As I said I am not the complaining type but what's right is right. I realize that people are busy but I am as important as the next guy. + 1 moreWe had purchased a special on Angies list. for a paver patio. We wanted a larger project but this was a great start and price. Jeff came out and we explained what we wanted. Within a day he provided an estimate and we agreed to the nature of work and price. The following week his crew came out on time and they began work. They were clean, efficient and even added proper drainage for our future planting beds. They did a great job and finished in one day. We are happy with our seating wall and patio. We use it often.

+ 2 moreJeff and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They took out all the dead grass and ugly gravel. The also took out the sidewalk in the front and concrete slab in the the back. We had them put in pavers to replace the sidewalk and the patio in the back. Armando and the crew working at the house did a great job of paying attention to detail and accomplished everything we wanted done. The job turned out great.

They literally completed the project 15 minutes ago and I am so happy with the results. It took about 5 hours and that's what I expected. They did an excellent job cleaning up the work site and made sure I was 100% satisfied before they left. Calvin was awesome and I will definitely be using this company again if I need more work done. Description of Work: Removed and replaced an old patio. Dug and replaced a drainage line for overflow of rain water, lifted and leveled the turf and replace the turf. Removed and replanted two spoon cacti, cleaned up and made the yard look better and cleaner. They were very professional and the guys were very polite and always doing something, even did a little more than asked. The reason for the B rating on punctuality is because the rain held them up one day from coming here to do the job and they didn't call to let us know they would not be able to it until the next day. Other than that there were great, neat, clean, polite and quick to answer my questions. They did do a little more to compensate for the lack of notifying the change of schedule. Thank You for a job well done and yes I would recommend them.

+ 2 moreI cannot say enough good things about Jeff and his crew (Leo, George, Victor, and Joel). The guys were professional, polite, and did excellent work. They were on my property about two weeks overall and each night they cleaned up and left the property in good condition. Jeff took care of getting all of the permits and we didn't pay anything until the jobs were completed which turned out to be a little more time than expected because of the weather. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat. The quality of their masonry work is excellent.
Description of Work: The team built a split face masonry wall with a powder coated gate with a privacy screen ($4,140). The amount above also includes another job for the tearing up and replacing of the front sidewalk with pavers ($1,350.00).

Description of Work: Jeff did some initial remodeling of our back yard. He removed an area of sod and placed pavers and planters in this area and included our patio in the design. The transformation is amazing. We certainly will have him continue the job as soon as we are able. The design he created can be added to in sections as time and money permit.
