We've taken our Camry there and they've always done a great job. They are topnotch. I continually go to them and recommend them because I trust them. I've used them so many times. They told me what was wrong and they fix it.

I took my car there because the shop was highly rated on Angie's List. The car alarm system was malfunctioning and the horn was honking 10 times in a row in cycles. Mikey found the problem and fixed it. Only charged me one hour labor. They gave me a ride back to my house and picked me up. The driver was great too! They gave me discount because I used Angie's List too. I will definitely be back!

Everything went fine. We were pleased with the flexibility they showed us when we couldn't make it to our appointment. They all were pleasant and did a good job.

first one didn't work out but were prompt about replacing it and had no problems since.

Went in for regular maintenance. Also mentioned that fuel gauge was funky on occasion. We got a call indicating that the gauge issue could be related to a fuel pump they installed over a year ago. They indicated that it was still on warranty. Replace it and resolved the problem. They have now service 3 cars for us and are totally forthright in explaining all options and associated costs. I have complete trust in these people.....which is a first for me when it comes to car service.

Fantastic. By far the best auto repair establishment in the valley. Have been a customer for 7 years, and wouldn't go antwhere else.

The air conditioning repair was flawless. The intake manifold was a mystery. For some reason the replaced part kept developing a small crack that didn't allow it to function properly. They tracked the problem down like Sherlock Holmes and it was a very well hidden problem. Just got the car back and it tested as perfect. Sunset Auto Imports Service in Henderson NV is a rare find. A totally HONEST and CAPABLE auto repair shop. Over the years they have saved me thousands of dollars over what a dealership would have charged. Sometimes I was told by a dealership that I had a very expensive repair but after taking the car to my friends at Sunset it turned out to be something simple and inexpensive . Three Mikes, a Dave and an Amber--customer service and honesty at it's best. I have a '98 Mustang GT convertible that is literally my baby. I will do everything it takes to keep it in the best shape possible and they go above and beyond to help me achieve that goal. I drive all the way across town to take the Mustang to them for things as simple as an oil change, and have for several years now. Trust me. You can't go wrong with this shop.

They detailed what issues they found. They also replaced a right wheel bearing and my rear brakes. They didn't pressure me to get anything fixed, there was none of this urgent you need to get this done. A lot of mechanics do, they were upfront and honest about it. They will be my go to mechanics from now on. They were very nice, low pressure, they took the time to show me what they came up with and the inspection. Like I said they were great because they didn't say oh you need this replaced or this needs done. These guys were just telling me this may be an issue down they road but its not a big deal.

I had been having problems with my Saturn running smoothly for a number of months. I am not a mechanic, but I’m usually able to figure things out myself. It just didn’t happen in this case. So I did my due diligence searched Yelp and Angie’s List. On these sites, I only considered ratings that had more than stars, more than one sentence and the reviewer had more than 5 reviews under their belt. Finally, their reviews could not be all 5 stars, but show SOME variability. To me, these criteria are vital in considering the reviews of others in which you don’t know their true motivation. I found Sunset Auto’s positive ratings where consistent throughout. My final check was with the Better Business Bureau, which I am always suspicious about, but it closed the deal in this case. Sunset Auto has and “A+” rating, (so, who doesn’t?), they have consistently been a BBB member since 1999, a long time (“hmmmm, interesting”) they were the only auto mechanic I was looking at to have no complaints (“Impressive, given how easy it is to complain about a mechanic”)….even more important, they were the ONLY mechanic to actually have a positive review (“****! Think I found a good mechanic! Boo-Yah!”). Everything matched the previous reviews. Everyone I spoke with was positive and friendly and I NEVER felt I was being swindled. My problem was, so simple I was embarrassed. Many mechanics would have tried to B.S. more expensive reasons to up-charge. This option doesn’t seem to be in their lexicon. And I didn’t have to deal with the “you better get this fixed, because it could be unsafe”, etc. lines. Very refreshing! Everything went the way it was supposed to. I called, brought my car in…late in the day and left it overnight to be looked at first thing in the morning. Got a call 1st thing in the AM, with price breakdowns and gave the go ahead. I followed up a few hours later and informed it was being finished. I’ve had my car 4 weeks now and have not had ANY problems. Everyone one was very professional, with a well-kept waiting area and actual current mechanic certificates on the wall! I would highly recommend anyone with car issues to give them a try, I doubt you will be disappointed.

Sunset Auto is awesome. I have utilized them ever since moving to Las Vegas almost three years ago. They are very professional and courteous. They give you the straight story and will not recommend or perform any work that does not need to be done. That was the case on this visit and they did not even charge me for the time spent performing the check up. I would not hesitate to recommend Sunset Auto to anyone.

This is the second time I've taken my 2006 Honda Odyssey to them, first was for transmission work, second time was to replace a power steering pump and a belt. Both times the work was done professionally, quickly and with a lower price quote than I got from several other repair shops. I highly recommend Sunset Auto, my entire family (7 cars) considers them our Go To mechanics now.

I normally dread dealing with car repairs, but Sunset Auto gave me a great experience from start to finish. I was seeking a second opinion on repairs that another shop had suggested but that seemed way overpriced. I tried Sunset Auto because they were so well rated on Angie's List and they are conveniently located for me. They took a look and confirmed that the car had a broken axle. I was very happy with their customer service throughout. Mikey is very personable and took time to make many phone calls to locate the part. It turned out that this axle is currently unavailable nationally and would have to come from the dealer. This explains why the first auto shop was going to charge me so much. Mikey gave me the option of getting a used part with no warranty, but I opted to go with the more expensive new axle for my own piece of mind. I mention this to explain why the price listed above is high - it would not normally cost that much to replace an axle, but there was no way around it with this situation. It was advised to leave the car there until the part arrived a day later, as it might be unsafe to drive in its present condition. Mikey offered to help me get a rental car, but I decided to put that off until later. I appreciated the way I was treated throughout. All of the employees were polite and explained everything in layman's terms without talking down to me. The young man who gave me a courtesy ride was very nice as well. The lobby was clean and had a selection of magazines and tv. The bathroom was clean too. I will definitely recommend this shop and use them for future repairs. It is such a relief to find an honest and reliable auto shop. My only wish is that they were open on weekends, but I realize that having a shop open 7 days a week is not always a feasible option.

We have had three cars worked on in the last two weeks. The quote we received on each car was exactly the cost of the repair, no hidden charges. They are very fast and friendly. Our entire family has definitely found our auto shop for future repairs.
