Description of Work: We do not get service thru Angies because they installed the original hvac system when our house was built. They offer us a discount service for spring and fall as a result which we have had since 1998. I will give a great rating because they give super service and any calls for help are answered in record time. I am sure they do the same for customers through Angie.

Description of Work: I asked for approximately 24 Feet of 1/2 inch schedule 40 PVC line, one 1/2 inch on/off Valve and One 1/2 inch Backflow device to be replaced. I asked that the new line be run along the lower outside portion on the exterior of my home and attached to my home to the point were it would serve the new Backflow Valve. An estimate was provide prior to service of $954.00. I told the tech that was pretty steep and I was in total shock. But I needed the job done and agreed to the ridiculous price. What was so astounding was he left to get the parts was back in 20 minutes and had the new line and parts installed just the way I wanted in about 2 hours. When he handed me the bill it did not state the price of parts nor the hourly cost to do the installation. Although he said he through in a fake ornamental rock to cover the Backflow device and piping the go for about $40.00 the Backflow Device perhaps $100.00 tops and I provided most of the schedule 40 he provide the fittings, on/off valve and the bolts and clamps perhaps $50.00 in costs. So that's about $200.00 in parts and $350.00 per hour in labor. I was stunned he held me to that estimate but he did. and I will be very cautious about using any my Angie's list clients.

Description of Work: I paid $20 to Angie's list for a service call. And was supposed to get another $20 off any services rendered. I don't believe that happened. I asked about it and received a very confusing answer. My experience in the past was if you have a service call and then require a service, the amount of the service call is deducted from the overall bill for services. I'm still not convinced that happened.

Description of Work: This provider only wanted to repair things that HE wanted to. When I asked him to look at one of the items that needed repair, his response was, "I don't do those things. I asked him to look at my toilet that doesn't flush properly, he said he fixes it. Oh, he fixed it alright but now when I flush the toilet, it whistles. Stone-face and not interested in customer's concerns. Where do you find these contractors anyway? Next time I need something fixed or installed, I'm contacting Home Advisors.

Description of Work: Casey installed a beautiful brand new sink, faucet, osmosis system and an insinkerator. |We had bought those items, since my husband and I are DIY'ers. But what an overwhelming task it would be for us! We needed a professional, and Sunrise Services, with such awesome reviews, saved the day and our plumbing!

Description of Work: Initial deal was $79 for $200 worth of plumbing service. I had to supply parts (kitchen faucet and 30 inch faucet hose about $55 of parts). all I got for the Angie deal was the kitchen faucet installation. Didn't seem like much of a bargain. So for my total of $134 outlay I got the kitchen faucet installed. the additional costs were for other items that needed to be fixed and since Sunrise was already there (Casey) I got reasonable estimates from him for the remaining work and he did it all fairly quickly. I was disappointed with the work on the water heater valve discharge line which kept me from giving an A grade on Quality and Professionalism.

Description of Work: We needed a professional plumber. We had a couple of problems with faucets that I didn't want to tackle because of the style or ages of the valves involved. I also had a couple of plumbing questions. This is what we joined Angie's list for. The plumber was pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable and focused. He even brought his own paper booties. He replaced the cartridge in the tub/shower that I had been leery of trying to dismantle myself and he replaced, rather than repaired, the ancient faucet valves in the shower in the garage. Everything works fine. The price was a bit off-putting, even after the Big Deal discount, but I haven't hired a plumber in many years so I don't know what's standard. He charged me by the book for the services he performed. There was no guesswork on price. I would have no qualms about hiring him or doing other business with Sunrise Service in the future.

Description of Work: I have a contract with Sunrise Air Systems. Before the hot weather, they service my air conditioners and before the cold weather they service my heater. I have been very satisfied with their work as they are prompt and efficient. My units are almost ten years old and they still work perfectly. I have been very happy with their service.
