We called them to install an opener in a 3-car garage. We were new to the area and we had just bought the house. Missed during inspection was the fact that both garage doors were damaged. So, we got an estimate and they replaced both doors and openers in the same afternoon. I was impressed at the speed and quality of installation. Chris was good to work with. All in all, we were satisfied with the experience.

Install was fine but he only had one remote and said would provide a second one later. I forgot about it until I needed the second remote. Office people were very rude. Sent remote in mail to "resident" and was wrong remote...said i had to return it and I did. I called to have the right remote delivered and programmed and they wanted me to pay $80. i refused and filed a BBB complaint because the worker would not let me speak to supervisor and lied telling me he was the supervisor. I finally got programmed remote after BBB complaint wirhout having to pay. Original cost of service was approx $300 and was done approx May, 2013.

The spring going across the top of our garage door broke, making the door impossible to open by using the controller or by opening manually. We called Anytime Garage Door as they were the ones that installed the door when the house was built 14 years ago. Geoff was the technician that came out within 2 hours of our call. The door originally had one long spring across the top. He replaced it with two springs, each going half way across and meeting in the middle. He replaced all the rollers in the channels that connect to the door when it opens and closes. He also replaced the weather strip across the bottom of the door. He also cleaned and tested the sensors and lubricated all the moving parts. All the parts now have a lifetime warranty . He did a great job and was very pleasant and professional.

Later after the install, I needed to have the remotes reset. I asked how to do it over the phone. They told me they would have to have someone out to manually reset the remotes. It was going to be a service charge of $20-25. I agreed, but when the man came out to do the reset. He only pushed a button for 30 seconds. This is something I feel I could have done or been told to do. I felt like this visit was unnecessary. I needed to have the remotes reset due to kicking out my roommate. So that he would not have access to the house. I came home one day and my roommate was in the house after he used the remote opener. I was upset because I had paid to get these reset so this would not happen. When I contacted the company for a refund, I was told I would not get one. I feel scammed over this.

Overall, it was fine. It ended up to be a small job. He did recommend to do other work but it wasn't necessary at this time. I appreciated the advise and will take it into consideration.
Description of Work: I have used this company before. I had an issue with my garage door not closing all the way and then, I closed it manually; then I wasn't able to open it. I had called Anytime Garage in the morning about 7a. They were able to tell me they would have a service man come to the house between 8-10a. Zeek arrived at 9a. He asked what work had previously been done and I let him in know. He checked out the sensors which was the issue. The sensor got bumped. It was a quick fix. I then asked if he could replace the garage button on my wall since it was hard to push in. He was able to repair in 15 minutes. He charged me for the service call. I was pleased by his promptness, manner & expertise.

However, the ?technician? who called to give me an estimate had a New York cell phone number. Since the house is in Henderson, NV, I thought this was odd. Then he told me that the door could not be opened at all and that both springs had to be replaced. I asked why he could not just replace the broken spring, and he said it was ?the law.? He quoted me a price of $580. That seemed high, and I knew he knew he had me over a barrel. I asked if I could talk to my home warranty company first, and he said no, that he had to leave if I didn?t approve the repair at that price and home warranties don't cover spring repairs. Against my better judgment, since the tenant was already late for a business meeting, I approved the repair. Later I found out that the typical rate for replacing both garage door springs is $165-200. Also, I could never find any ?law? that requires both springs to be replaced. I did contact the Southern Nevada BBB and they told me that this company has been using the BBB accreditation in their advertising, and the BBB has requested 4 times that they remove reference to BBB because they were unauthorized to do so, and they had 15 complaints in the last 12 months. Recommendation: seniors beware, shop around for garage door repairs. Don?t use this company unless they offer competitive pricing and then be sure to get an estimate in writing before approving the repair. UPDATE: The tenant noticed the garage door was not completely shutting. He called Anytime again, thinking they would make an adjustment under warranty from the previous repair. The technican told the tenant that the door rollers all needed to be replaced at a cost of $300. When I talked to the technician he said the high cost was because we have a "special, heavy" door. Knowing I had been ripped off the last time Anytime came out, I refused the repair. The technician then told the tenant he would do the repair for $200 if he was paid in cash. Meanwhile, I went to Angie's List and found All Access Garage Door, who also advertise in the Sun City Anthem magazine. They were A-rated and I contacted them to give me an estimate. Their technician came out and in 5 minutes made an adjustment to the opener control that fixed the problem. And, he didn't charge a cent. I'll be giving All Access an A rating on Angies List. But, BUYER BEWARE of Anytime Garage Door. I'm giving them an F-. Their business model is to rip you off every chance they get. Always get competitive prices before using them or any other repair company.
Description of Work: The garage door spring on our rental house broke on a Sunday. The tenant needed to get to his office on Monday morning. He called this company for the repair because they had an ad in a Senior Age Restricted Community newsletter in Sun City Anthem that said they were a member of BBB. They did come out first thing on Monday but had to have payment before doing the work.

The main coil spring on my double garage door broke a couple of weeks after I moved in to a new house, stranding my car inside. Not knowing anything about this kind of repair work, I just called the number on the door, and Anytime had bought out the business. The serviceman Chris showed up within 45 minutes and gave me an estimate of $399 and 1/2 hour of work. This sounded high to me and I questioned it. Was it $200 for parts and $200 for 1/2 hour of labor? Or $300 for parts and $100 for 1/2 hour of labor? What is your hourly rate? If it's $60, then are you charging me $370 for parts ($185 each for 2 springs) ? No? Then what are you really charging me? Why can't you just put in one spring like the original? What is the cost of the springs? This went on for some time. He refused to break the price down, saying "that's just what we get for this job". I showed him an internet parts list with prices for the springs ranging from $38-70 and asked him which one was he installing. He refused to even look at the list, repeating only "that's just what we get for this job". Then he pretended to "give me a deal" by offering to waive his "normal service call fee" of $25. Great, you add a phony charge and then take it back off. We argued for another 30 minutes but he wouldn't budge on the price. He also started in on attempting to pad the bill with additional unnecessary repairs such as for a new chain, rollers, door panel, hinges. I refused additional repairs, but of course he intoned, "ohh-kaaay, I'm just trying to help you". Since I was late for work and my car was stuck in the garage, I agreed to the work. He was done within another 30 minutes as promised. He wrote up a bill for $424, and even though the "service call" was listed as zero, now a mysterious "SURCHARGE 6%" for $23.99 shows up. I thought that amount was going to be for sales tax, but no, it was just a phony made-up charge to bump up the total. Then I show up at work late, and everyone there tells me I got ripped off, badly. Three estimates from other companies confirmed that I had overpaid by DOUBLE. I'm glad the word is out about this guy already, but it's too late to help me. I should have just called in sick and checked for more reasonable priced work, leaving the car stuck in the garage. I wish I had known about websites like Angie's list sooner. That day, I checked with the Better Business Bureau, and not surprisingly, he had an "F" rating, and had ignored three formal requests from them to stop using their BBB logo on his website since he was not accredited and did not have their permission. Since then, he has cleaned up his act with them and raised his rating to a "B". I wrote a detailed letter to the business owner which was ignored. I left phone messages - ignored. I tried contacting them through their own website - contact system malfunctioned repeatedly. Only a complaint to the BBB got a response, accusing me of "buyer's remorse" and something like wanting a Mercedes for the price of a Yugo. Sorry, pal, you don't understand what "buyer's remorse" means. I'm not remorseful about paying for the services you performed, only about how much you ripped off an unknowledgeable first-time homeowner and took advantage of him. Yes, a Mercedes-Benz car costs more than a Yugo, but they are somewhat better cars. You charged me $424 for a $177 job, so if you still want to play out the analogy, basically you sold me a Yugo, but CHARGED ME for a Mercedes. You will never get any repeat business when you rip off every new customer. Look around at your ratings and feedback. Why are you afraid of working out problems on Angie's list and demanding to be removed? Is it because you consistently overcharge people and are fundamentally a ripoff artist? I hope your dishonesty puts you out of business so that better people can make an honest living.

During the three times that the repair man came to the house - I paid the company a total of $ 691.59 (two separate bills - I paid each one, as it was presented to me.) After their inability to repair the garage door, solve the problem, my daughter and her husband went to the store and bought a motor( incl. the motherboard), installed it in about 30 minutes and the door has worked perfectly ever since.
Description of Work: When I pressed the button to close my garage door(both the button on the wall and the button on the remote control), it would close and immediately bounce back open - all the way. I was not in the garage and did not see very much of the service performed by the repair man. He returned three times. The problem was not solved and was still the same every time, including the last time that he came to the house - still bouncing right back open.

I c alled the number that was on my garage door opener. The company that bought out the company on my garage door opener is this company, Anytime Garage Doors. The tech came out and indicated that I needed a new receiver for my garage door. He indicated that the receiver was $269 and that a new remote would be approximately $40 - $45. I did tell him I didn't have that kind of money at this time and he offered, repeatedly, that I could write a post dated check. I just told him that this was more than I had planned and that I would call them when I could get the money. I immediately went online and looked up the cost of receivers. Most are generally in the $40 - $50 for the exact receiver that would be needed (Liftmaster, not some generic receiver). This was very disappointing. I don't mind that a company marks up it's product and bit and I don't mind paying for labor. But to mark a product up 500% seems unethical to me. I did call the company in the morning to ask if this is the price they were going with and/or give them a chance to explain and the man in the office indicated that they use good products. I indicated that the ones online were brand name and that the MOST expensive one I found was $70, and that a remote would be $20. (However, it's not likely I would even need a new remote). The man in the office told me that I was being rude when I told him I plan to write a bad review. And apparently that is worse than being unethical. You don't have to take my word for it. Do your homework. Google universal garage door receivers (Liftmaster), you'll see how much they cost...and go ahead and google new remotes (about $20). Again, I don't mind paying for services, but I don't appreciate being taken advantage of. Do your homework. Pick another garage door servicer.

My installation representative was Greg. He was very professional and courteous and the installation was completed in no time at all. The only negative I have in regards to my installation is that I feel the price was a bit expensive. Labor alone was a $100.00 to program two remotes. Overall, I was pleased with Anytime Garage Door, LLC but would not enlist their services again due to the excessive cost of labor assessed towards the installation.

He didn't have the inserts for the windows. He told me he would be back Monday to put them in. He put four panels up on Saturday. On Monday he was supposed to be here between 10-12. I called at 12:30. He said they would be here between 2-3. He came about 5. He put the windows in, but he didn't have the right shaped inserts. When he came back that night, he didn't ring the bell. He just put them in without telling us. We noticed it the next morning. One of the windows on the right hand side had a gap between it and the insert. I called him this morning. He told me he would send somebody out. He didn't tell us when he got here. The inserts are a little darker than our door. I called to tell him that the inserts didn't match. He told me these were the right inserts to put in the door. He told me that it would be $24 to send someone else out to look at it. He should have rung my bell and let me know that he did the service so I could approve it or not.

This company's stickers appeared all over the garage of my house that was for sale on the market. Oddly enough, the two remotes that were in the garage disappeared at the same time. Something about this sounds a little flaky.

I was coming home from work at around 9pm a few nights ago and I accidentally hit my garage door with my car. Needless to say my garage door was totaled. I called up Anytime Garage Door at that time and the man who answered the phone was super friendly and helpful. He had a technician out at my house within the hour. The technician (I believe his name was Nate) examined my entire door told me exactly what I needed and told me what I didn't. I was very impressed. I didn't feel like he was just trying to rip me off. He was able to install a whole new door and the whole thing from the time of the incident to the technician finishing installing my new door took less than 2 1/2 hours. I could not have been happier with their service!
Description of Work: We had a whole new garage door installed.
