He gave me an estimate and removed my solar screens on the same day. He reinstalled my screens, on the day he promised. He did a very nice job and my screens look brand new. His "assistant" Nova, was very polite. (Nova stays in truck as she is a 4 lb chihuahua )
Description of Work: Jack rescreened all the windows of my townhouse and repaired a couple frames.

 + -1 moreI contacted Jack Steadman who is the owner of the company. He was able to come to the house the next day to give me an estimate. He was prompt, informative and, most important, honest. He told me that he could use the existing frames and hardware thus saving money. I only needed the screens. An appointment was scheduled for the following week. He and his very capable assistant Quincey arrived on time and, except for a 1/2 hour lunch break, worked until the job was done. They were here for eight hours because they took the time to clean the windows and the frames before they cut the new screens and installed them on the windows. They also have a ten year guarantee. The new solar screens have given the house a new appearance. The exterior looks fresh and new. I will use Lotsmart again if the need should arise. I highly recommend this company because of Jacks honesty, integrity, value and quantity of his work.
Description of Work: The solar screens on my house were 19 years old and looking faded and dirty. I tried to clean them but there was little improvement. It was time to replace them.

 + -1 moreJack ,owner of Lotsmart, fixed my Venetian blind by relining the holders of the blinds and then rehung them.
Description of Work: I had a vertical blind problem. They would not open or close. When I called Lotsmart,he first tried to help me by telling me what to do. When that didn't work, he made time to come by and see what my problem was. Within minutes,Jack found my problem & fixed it. What a relief to find an honest, knowledgeable man. I will keep his card handy in case I need him again.

 + -1 moreThis is an owner/operated business. The owner showed up on time and gave an exact price quote for the solar screens. I was not given an exact installation date but this was to be expected as I ordered a product he did not have on hand. Work was done well. Screen has stood up to some big winds this summer with no damage. Great Job! The owner did the installation while I wasn't present which is usually not how I like to operate. I understood that he wanted to get all his installations done in the area on one day. I was a small job so I can understand how I would have little leverage on this. It was the only negative I had with this installation experience.

Description of Work: An excellant price for 20 windows on my two story house. I was a little reluctant when thier price was $600.00 less than my best previous bid, but they seemed to have a better presentation and was more informed on the solar screen product they had presented. They we're more patient with my questions during the estimate and made me more informed on what the screens can do for me. The installation went fine. they we're on time and asked me to overlook the completed instaal when they finished. A small Co. only two fellows, say " keeps the overhead low for better pricing" really worked great for us. Would definately recomend Lotsmart to anyone.
