INTERIOR TOUCH UP

Description of Work: Barry from Interior Touchup repairs all of our custom built furniture and gives it a much needed lift every couple of years. The main door to our business as well as our staircase are the main focus of the entrance. Barry always does a great job. We have used Barry's services for over a decade.

Description of Work: Needed color and sealer added to multiple spots on 2 recliners that were damaged in shipping

Description of Work: Barry Esposito the owner of the self-employed business performed careless and unprofessional work "touching up" a large desk and book case. The stain he used came off on my clothes and hands, the wood was not sanded or prepared in any way. He calls himself a professional however I could have done a better job for less than $25 and he charged $225 for work he spent about 15 minutes on. A red flag should have been when he asked for cash for his services. I ended up paying him then discovered the poor workmanship. At first he refused to return my money but ended up refunding $175 to avoid being reported on YELP.

Description of Work: I chose Interior Touch Up after reading positive reviews on Angie's List. Barry answered my call immediately and came to my home the same day. Barry was pleasant and seemed experienced. I had Barry repair the footboard of a queen bed that had a large crack, a table base that needed screws to stabilize the table top, and refinish and repair a glider rocker and ottoman (screws were loose and it squeaked). The table and footboard were repaired well; however, I was sadly disappointed with Barry's customer service. The rocker refinish was $650.00 and the finish chips and rubs off less than a month later! I returned it once myself because he would have charged me again for pickup and delivery $80.00. I asked Barry to oil the screws because the chair still squeaked when I rocked it. Barry refused, stating that oil would harm his finish but I could choose to do it myself when I got it home! When I picked up my rocker Barry said any further problems are "on me"!

Description of Work: Change color on chairs (darker) and replace fabric on chairs. The chairs had fabric on chair bottom, front and back of chairs. Chairs had finished cord matching fabric double on all chairs. Also had base of table color changed to match chairs. Table has heavy glass top with two base supports. Additional work included 4 large sofa pillows and two ottomans to change fabric. Very detailed work.

Description of Work: I had two antique chairs refinished and upholstered.
